F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot
Isnt that mostly about everything else out there? A supra? A limited edition item? etc. There are people that are willing to pay. Look at retro jordan shoes. The world is getting worst everyday.
Some things yes, but at least some things hold an actual value. I just have no desire to flip games for $5 or even $20. I would rather all gamers be able to enjoy games for a fair price.

Whatever amount a game ends up selling for is the fair price.

ME1 & 2 CE worth it before 3 ruined 400-500+ value.... boooooo
The chances of you getting a factory sealed PS1 game from AWD is virtually 0. Maybe like 1-2% if it is something still sold like Final Fantasy IX. Sometimes when trade in values are exceptionally high people will go buy new copies of a game to trade in, so you might get a modern factory sealed game.

The only older sealed game I have received, out of several hundred games ordered, is Kirby and the Amazing Mirror for Game Boy Advance. Honestly can't even say for sure it is factory sealed as not an expert but looks legit to me.

If the rare chance you did get a factory sealed PS1 game the case would almost certainly be cracked. They are not stored or shipped properly by Amazon. I replace nearly all the cases of used PS1 games I get from AWD with brand new cases.
Umm they sell them i got a few and also traded in factory sealed ones. Rates are low but your talk shocks me... I still got FFT non reprint factory sealed. I keep for love of game not profit tho.. How i know factory sealed cause i bought day one locally.

Avoid ps3 one get 360.... patch delies and new patch broke clan chat.... EGO 2500+ no farming on ps3 so i played enough but enjoy hard freezes and all those bad game killing bugs.
Speaking of collectors, I just ordered :ps2: Rule of Rose in (LN) for $76.79. It is cringe worthy price in my opinion but that game is so damn hard to find complete in mint condition. It will be worth it if it is in mint condition. I have been looking all over for this game and yet to come across one in good price or in mint condition. Lets see if AWD can pull through.
Good luck on this! I am currently searching for copies of :gc: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and :ds: Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time at reasonable prices. I feel so fortunate that I was able to find a copy of :wii: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for a fair price at a locally owned game store the other day.

yeah I want to get the 2 console fire emblem games as well but good lord they are expensive. those 2, skies of arcadia legends legend of dragoon and ff7 are basically wish list games I'd like to play some point. But I just cannot justify paying 30+ bucks for a used game. I regret sorta not picking up xenoblade when it was cheap.

Bright side at least ff7 is available digital.

In a way, it's a bit odd. On most 360 and PS3 games, my limit is usually 15-20 dollars for a used copy. However, knowing that certain Nintendo GameCube, Wii, and 3DS games retain their high value for a very long time, I am more inclined to pick those up around $30-ish. I guess it is more about gauging what the supply and demand of the market is and making a reasonable prediction as to whether something will increase or decrease in price.

Legend of Dragoon is on PSN as a PS1 Classic, as stated earlier by someone else. :)

Fire Emblem doesn't really age. Most of the mechanics and UI go all the way back to the NES installments. That's sort of the best thing about FE. It doesn't matter which one you play.

Today is a good day! First I scored :wii: Xenoblade Chronicles (complete and in mint condtion for $46.11 at Gamestop and now I just got my copy of :ps2: Rule of Rose and it is in mint condition. No scuffs or scratches on the disk, manual and cover are all in good condition. AWD comes through again and makes that price tag a bit easier to swallow. :bouncy:
