Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Those cheap consoles are impossible to get, before they're even posted they get sniped.
Not really. You just got to be on at the right time. I was fortunate enough to get 4 of them. [ $21 360 120GB Elite, $23 PS3 60GB, another $28 360 120GB and the recently 80GB PS3 for $33]

Speaking of which my $33 PS3 80GB came today from Amazon which was of good condition. The box was beat up and the unit was missing a charge cable as well as the video cable. It did come in the original packaing, dualshock, power cable and console of course.

Going to return it right away since I ordered the $160 superslim 250GB last night. Watch for it folks next week or so.

An AWD thread just isn't an AWD thread without a mention of how you got a $21 360.

Has the Hardened Edition of :ps4: Ghosts been the only one up in a while? It seems like I haven't seen the standard version posted in a while.

Salty much? Just saying it is not impossible to score a cheap console. The $23 PS3 is something I am proud of much more than the $21 360. That junk is loud as a jet engine. Flipped it soon as I got it.

The VG PS4 I got arrived today and was a dinger. However, it didn't include the booklet for $10 PSN and 30 day PS Plus. Did they only include that with the first wave of PS4s?

Only the ones sealed with blue playstation tape I believe

I think so, I know that those codes were listed with expiration dates of 2014-03-31 on some of the first wave PS4s I saw.

I got a VG :ps4: dinger yesterday that had the bag of manuals still sealed up but there was no booklet for the $10 PSN / 30-day PS+ codes.

Proud? lol. So we're supposed to be proud of ourselves for buying cheap shit now?
Sure why not? Making/saving is something to be proud of. TiV is better on the PS3 than the 360

Bought my PS4 in Feb and it came with it. Mine was a later batch because the sealed tape was clear and not blue which were the first wave.

btw.

Lol. Totally. You were the ONLY person to get a $21 360. Either that or other people who got in that deal--or any other deal for that matter--don't have to talk about it every chance they get.

Afraid so.

It's deeper than that. We're supposed to be proud of being flippers, thieves, scammers, and awful people in general.
perfect reason why amazon need to impose quantity purchase limits on awd items whereas you can only purchase so many of a specific item in a 6 months period per account to prevent those kind of things from happening

the latter i all agree with, but lumping flippers in with that? technically aren't all retailers flipping since they buy tons of items at a lower price knowing that they can mark them up?

Sure but that is outside the scope of this website. Generally, cags look down upon flippers because the whole ethos of this website is to buy cheap games and enjoy them for yourself. Over time, this has changed.

Nothing wrong with flipping. You snooze you lose. Not sure why you placed flippers in the same category as thieves and scammers.

a ton of the things that get flipped aren't hot items. Do people really want a street fighter 4 gamepad, or supremacy MMA for the vita? or the more common $140-160 Xbox 360?

Sure, but the people who brag about it basically do all of the other things and they brag about those.

If I ever get one of those cheap consoles, I'm just going to give it to my cousins overseas. They can't afford much and it'll make great presents.

Of course, the likelihood of that happening is slim.

I once was like you man but got corrupted. People won't appreciate you leaving extra units for fellow cags but they'll be quick to attack you immediately for even mention buying 3 or more. I don't care no more tbh. If I want something I'll get how ever many I desire especially if I can get a good margin.

Anyway, returning a 80GB PS3 because the margin aren't worth it for me and letting you guys know. I'm not totally a dbag. =P

Yeah, that thing got sniped as soon as I posted. Checked right after posting and it was gone. Folks are watching those cheapos like a hawk.
i got that one, dont know how, i was actually browsing on my vita when i saw it. i had to put in my password and then go through the whole checkout since ive never set up 1 click ordering on my vita. surprised it was listed as like new, ill let you guys know what i end up getting.

on another note, i should thank all the people that complain all the time because that is the only way i can explain the ps3 call of duty ghosts prestige edition i got today. got it for $57 a packaging may be damaged listing. all codes were unused, box was factory sealed, all stickers on the outside, thing had never been opened. no damage to packaging, but get this, when i picked it up i heard something rattling around. im thinking, great, camera is broken. when i open it i realize its just the way the zipper was against the side of the plastic piece inside holding it. im guessing somebody dropped it and they assumed it was broke because of the sound.

Which guides were pennied if you dont mind me asking

Oh man I hope that ME3 guide is pennied tomorrow too when I get to BB.

And we made it a whopping what...5 pages before te flipping debate? New record?

Yeah well unfortunately most of us have other things to do at 4am than be on AWD. Not salty, I'm glad you got a $20 360. I'd get one too. But I'm not gonna spend my life on AWD to save $50-60 on something.

and to everyone's defense, it's NOTHING like it was when people turned this thread into the flipping for $2-3  that was hilarious. Anyone remember that?

Anyone have any experience ordering an item that's says "May be missing one of the following: box, manual, art" I know it MAY be missing one , but am wondering if AWD puts this too on items missing more than one of these things. Ie. like missing everything

i think when its missing everything it says item may be repackaged

Not necessarily. Good guidelines state that the original case may be replaced to protect the item. So a cracked 360 case with almost perfect cover art can be replaced by a black generic one with the same cover.

Amazon refunded me for an item, is there any way to check and see if they expect it returned? The lady made it seem like they didn't want it back and that they were very sorry and she would refund me immediately... I went to "my returns" and there's nothing there, I'm assuming I'm all good?

Do the ethical thing and ask them. Just mind boggling why such question even needs to be raised.

Mind boggling? Baha whatever you say Copernicus. Boo hoo, It's a legitimate question that I figured might be much easier answered here. The item is damaged to hell and IS worthless to anyone, so I'd rather not have to deal with sending it back or calling again.

When did you order yours? I ordered mine from the mid-day Tuesday batch. Hoping for a dinger too. Description had all that 1/4" mark on this that etc

I got a dinger about a week ago and it didn't come with the voucher either, I'm pretty sure it was first batch only.

Just got my LN PS4 today also... Gonna play my PS+ free games (Resogun, Mercenary Kings) and see how it goes. Any useful tests to make sure it's in good condition? I hear horror stories about the BLoD and such. I'll be getting MGS V tomorrow, so I can test the BD.

Well if it's BLOD you'll know right away. Otherwise just play for like 18 hours straight and see if it gets abnormally warm. Also get a game and make sure it reads and installs it since bad disc drives have also been a common problem with both next gen consoles.
