Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I bought a VG Legendary Trigger Happy for $4.47. What's with all these "factory sealed" listings all of a sudden though? I hope they are just dingers.

Dang I missed that inFamous 2 deal... what a price!  Oh well- I ordered just the Hero Edition's statue off of eBay for less than $15, which is basically the only thing I was wanting from the Hero Edition anyway.  Would've been nice to get the whole set for less than that, though!

Damn you Amazon for putting the sticker on the inside of the game case! Just got my Final Fantasy XIII-2 that I got LN for $6.42. Came in perfect condition apart from the sticker. Just as bad as Gamestop stickers trying to take it off w/o goo gone.

They did this with my 3DS game.

A lot easier than using good gone.

I had the same issue brand new from GameStop. Took a good 7 tries for the install

Whoa, wtf? I had $230 in giftcard balance in my account. Just checked and I'm down to $52.

On June 28th I've had $135 taken out of my account and under giftcard activity it says "balance withheld" ... there's also a pending "balance hold" for $43... wtf is this shit?

Did my account get hacked????

What does it say under "Your Account" and then "Your Orders"

My last order placed was June 11th. Which were ball shorts I bought. Everything else took place on June 28th.
I would call Amazon right away. That's weird as hell.

If it was hacked it's weird that they left giftcard credit on your account and it's weird if the hacker didn't buy stuff with your credit cards too. Maybe he was trying to make it that you wouldn't notice the missing funds for a while. Or maybe Amazon just fuck ed up big time somehow.

Ask Amazon directly?
On phone now. She's saying "your gift cards have been revoked it says"

..... lol... so yeah, that makes 0 sense. I've had a balance with that for 3 months then suddenly it gets revoked 2 months later? And there's apparently a $43.43 revoke as well... lol, yeah because I've added a $43.43 gift card before

What in the mother of all fuck ? Where did you buy the giftcards? Or was it from trade ins?

whats the overall consensus on Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged. Minor cosmetic imperfection on front of item (less than 1/4"x1/4"). Minor cosmetic imperfection on top or sides of item (less than 1/4"x1/4"). Minor cosmetic imperfection on bottom or back of item (less than 1/2"x1/2"). as a description? its for a mouse

so you got in touch with the CS you were told some were revoked, what reason did they give you since you are leaving it out of your posts?
I didn't leave anything out. They said they have to investigate. I am a Prime and that's been paid so I'm not sure what they could have "revoked" me on.

OK, I really only need it for the Wii U, so I don't need a 1TB one. Something around $30-50 bucks that would work on the Wii U.
I think you'd have better luck buying loose laptop drives on eBay, but the search filtering will be daunting to many. http://www.ebay.com/sch/Internal-Hard-Disk-Drives-/56083/i.html?_ipg=200&LH_BIN=1&_sop=15&_from=R40&Rotation%2520Speed=5400%2520RPM&_nkw=500GB%202.5&LH_PrefLoc=2&_dcat=56083&rt=nc&_pppn=r1&LH_ItemCondition=1000%7C1500%7C2000%7C2500

And then get an enclosure.

After searching eBay for a bare drive and an enclosure, I think my best bet is just to get a 500gb drive for $50 from Amazon.

Made out well with the LN $140 Slim 160GB :ps3: from last week. It was indeed a dinger, all accessories unopened and brand-new controller. I've had to return cheap PS3s to AWD in the past because the controllers were pretty worn out so it was nice to get an unused one for a change.

I've had fat and super slim PS3s before but this is my first Slim and I'm surprised how much nicer it is than the other two revisions. Nice matte finish that isn't a fingerprint magnet, slot-loading drive.. I think this one's a keeper. Hopefully AWD will get some more reasonably priced (not $200+) PS3s up soon, I definitely recommend getting a Slim model if you're in the market.

If I refuse a package from Amazon because I changed my mind, do I get charged for return shipping?  I'm a prime member if that makes a difference.  Is this a good idea to do?  Assuming it doesn't reflect negatively on my account and I don't get charged, what's the best way to refuse shipment?  Can I even do it if my UPS man comes when i'm not home or doesn't ring the doorbell?

when I had a problem with a order before I call amazon and they told me I could refuse delivery either by:
1. Calling them as soon as the tracking number updated to recieved at carrier facility and they could then call ups and reroute the package back to them.
Or
2. Leave a note on my front door for the ups guy refusing delivery and return to sender.

And then as soon as they recieve the item back you will be refunded back in 2 to 3 days

Actually, I just realized it's being delivered via USPS. I recall that you used to be able to write "Refused" on a package and it gets sent back to the sender with the post office, although i'm not sure how that works since there is apparently a handoff between USPS and UPS.

if it hasn't been handed off yet I would call amazon then and say you need to refuse the package cause you won't be home that way they can have ups reroute it back to amazon then before the handoff to USPS
