Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Hopefully Amazon starts using reliable shippers like Ontrac and Lasership more often.
Lasership is the shittiest shipping company I've ever seen. Lies about packages being delivered, routinely deliver to wrong house, deliveries up to midnight. fuck them.

ontrac always haa the crappiest service compared to ups and usps

It sounds like the problem is more on your guys end than Lasership/Ontrac. Both shipping companies provide nothing but great service and anyone who disagrees is either the problem or trolling.

How is the problem on my end? A package shows as delivered at 1pm and my doorbell rings at 11:30pm? Have you ever looked at the feedback for Lasership on Amazon? Set aside a couple of hours to read all the negative feedback.

But yes, I'm sure the problem is all the people who have had problems.

Maybe or two people complained out of thousands of satisfied customers. Also, what other shipping service sends packages out until midnight? They should charge more for that type of superior service.

Ontrac and Lasership are the only two companies that get shipping 100% right and I can see why the other companies are losing market share to them.

Oy! My guess is you have never engaged in a conversation with Rozz. He is like Jeopardy where the answer is in a question form. He will point out the obvious and let you put 2 and 2 together. Now you are just feeding him more fuel. Back away, you are not going to win this one.

Digital river has better service for me than amazon normally does and that was with prime.  I've heard all the horror stories but they were great for me and even used identical boxes to the ones I received my amazon order in.

Awe you spoiled the fun. I was enjoying watching their first encounter!

Since I don't like having my items shipped by USPS, I just complained to Amazon a lot and explained to them the fact that my post office loves to lie about making attempts to deliver so that I could go to the post office and pick up instead. When they do try to deliver they shove everything in the mail box and ruin it. Or just the fact they don't deliver in two days. Amazon then made a note in my file or account and I never get anything delivered through USPS anymore.

So if it bothers you that much just let them know and they will listen to you. You're a paying customer and you have that right to two day shipping without your things being crushed. Besides they will lose money for every time it arrives wrong and they have to issue a refund or send a brand new one as a replacement.

So in the market for a vita. What's the best way to go at it? And what's the cheapest it's gone on awd?
I gave up waiting and just went with one on ebay. Are you wanting the old OLED or the new LCD version?

Honestly you can find some on ebay or Cowboom etc for around $100-$120 for the OLED model. Feel free to PM me if you have questions.

UPS Surepost delivered my Modern Warfare 2 Hardened Edition to my local post office, then decided it was "undeliverable" and sent it back to Amazon. This was after they sent me an email saying my delivery would be delayed 1-2 days. I never got an email about it being "undeliverable", had to check the tracking and saw it was sent back. Now the only copies available are double the price I paid and in worse condition.

I just ordered two Xbox One Controller faceplates about an hour ago. I really hope it comes Friday. I won't be home Saturday to get it, if it's delivered then. Last thing I need is to worry about something getting stolen from my front door.

Yeah my Killer is Dead got delivered by smartpost as well, it added an extra day that would have tentatively been one day shipping (though I did order through Prime aka two day shipping). I hope this is a temp thing from Amazon if this ends up getting me 3 day shipping instead of 2, especially for items I'm trying to get near release.

I still don't get how that's cheaper for either UPS or Amazon.
Surepost and smartpost are both hugely cheaper than any other shipping options I've ever seen in my work as long as the package is under 9 pounds, beyond that point ground shipping becomes cheaper. We only deal with around 250-400k packages a year but you can get DIMM waivers, fuel surcharge waivers, etc. Surepost and smartpost are basically keeping the USPS alive right now and everyone gets a sweetheart deal on both ends of it.

I've been in the closest smartpost sort facility for work(we are the 2nd largest customer in our area behind amazon) and the routing is pretty amazing. IMPB implementation opened up a lot of things beyond just tracking numbers for all packaging.

I get that it's all because of contracts making it cheaper but it really doesn't make sense from a logical standpoint in most areas because...

it not cause it more miles going round about. It frustrating though cause it taking all my packages extra time. My orders from last night won't be here til Friday and I'm only 50 miles from the warehouse
It's more miles, more hands, more employees, more companies involved and all those things cost money. In some areas I could see it making more sense (rural and sparsely populated areas for instance) but urban and densely populated suburban areas where it seems like a complete overlap seems counter intuitive.

I don't think distance has too much influence, I think the logic is this: normal UPS, they have to give an exact date of delivery to get paid, delivering w post USPS means they can take their time and reorder packages to fill better the trucks and more efficiently, give priority to more express or time sensitive items and having no exact date to get things to usps, they can take it a day early or a day later than planned and would still fall under the timeframe for UPS/USPS team up and would get paid the same. Those UPS drivers get paid very good so saving gas, time, truck wear and paid time for the driver add up to savings.
