Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?

They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?

Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?

Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?

In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?

On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?

Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?

First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Got some of my items today. Looks like they cancelled some items on me. Under my orders tab I don't see it and I don't see it listed under "Cancelled Orders" but they are no longer shown anywhere under orders when they were previously.

Overall the haul today was nice. Was especially pleased to see the Megaman X Collection on Gamecube, that was Acceptable, had the original case and artwork and was only missing the manual. Makes it an even better deal! Should get the rest of the items today and tomorrow. Only wish I would have been at home and not stuck on mobile when this hit or I would have had plenty more. Still have to test out some of the games (Specifically worried about the Gamecube and Wii U games). May post some pics later for anyone interested.

I'll try to make people who missed the epic deal feel slightly better (not too much though probably). The PS4 COD ghosts prestige edition I ordered wasn't sealed like someone else's. It's open and missing the season pass (not a surprise though). Congrats to the person who got a new one.

The Forza Horizon Steelbook is very smashed and literally falling apart. The spine is hanging on by a thread.

Amazon accidentally mailed me two copies of Phantasy Star Online for the Original Xbox instead of one copy of Phantasy Star and one copy of Kingdoms of Amalur for the PS3. I'm not even sure if this is worth complaining to Amazon about because I already own Kingdoms of Amalur for the 360.

It sucks the Kinect I bought used at gamestop in november still smells like crap after I cleaned it (smells like scented candles and potpourri and perfume from someone's house). I bought a $7.77 kinect from AWD for a replacement and it smells much worse (like someone dumped a bottle of perfume on it). ing allergies. Kinect sucks donkey anyway.

I might post pictures of it when the rest of my stuff arrives. I forgot to post about the bright side of Forza Horizon. The disc is in mint condition and it has the DLC codes (I haven't tested them though). Still not a complete loss. I'm starting to wish I tried to hoard a little bit and bought 2 of each item (of stuff I really, reallly wanted like Forza) in case one was in horrible shape or missing something. I was trying not to spend too much money.

Anyway, be sure to test those Wii U games. They are still sending discs that are broke, but look perfect. Speaking of, I wonder if they are resurfacing those discs and causing some of the issues themselves, dince Wii U discs are a proprietary format with the rounded edges.

I wonder how many of these glitch deals were trade-in's from cags.  A lot of the titles were popular trades months ago: Tomb Raider: DE with artbook, Ryse Day One, Kinect Sensor with the adapter, Madden 25's (Acceptables were the Anniversary Edition), etc. 
 
I'm not surprised about the CE's with used passes.  People from SD and cag were boomeranging (is that a word?) them and selling off the DLC like the Ghosts Prestige Edition.  If a lot of these glitch deals really came from trades, that just means Amazon lost that much more money since they were giving high TIV values for some of these.

I had a $46 PS3 ordered but it got cancelled and my Disney Infinity Starter Kit ($7.49) & COD: Ghosts Prestige Edition ($10.75) haven't even shipped yet. Although Ryse & Oblivion: CE did.

anybody care to give a quick recap what were these fantastic deals everybody keeps referencing? I'm curious and not exactly sure what I missed out on.

It was a glitch in the Amazon pricing from 5-6 days ago. It happened in the middle of the night and made some stuff cheaper than normal. Something like this only happens once every 9-12 months, so don't get your hopes up of ever actually seeing it yourself.

Yesterday night ~10pm I bought an item from AWD and in 2 mins it was preparing for shipment then 10 mins later it said shipping now and about 1-2 hrs after it said shipped and was bought 1click after added to cart.  I had to check my order about 10 times to make sure I didn't select a fast shipping option instead of free prime shipping.  Either AMZ is hording all my saved for later/wish list items in a pallet for when I decide to buy them or you guys + SD cleaned the AWD warehouse the other night lol.

Also, is it possible to have a text only list of my purchases (similar to CC statements)?  too many to keep on track with pictures and stuff.

I work a late schedule, get home at midnight the earliest, so generally I don't go to sleep until 5AM, hence me blaming it on Lego Marvel. Good try though.

My haul is so beautiful! Spent $140 for this amazement!

Tomb Raider's PS4 are all brand new. 1 PS3 Tomb Raider is new but the other is LN. The 360 was in good condition but missing every game buy Forza 4. AC4 CE is used but in LN condition. Lord of the Rings 360 looks to be repackaged and used. Haven't opened the PS3 yet.

Here is the first shipment of my haul. Lots of games but wish the Collectors Editions would have went through and I could have gotten the page to load for the systems. Since I was stuck on mobile I'm extremely stoked at my haul (more should arrive today).

This PS3 MGS bundle is pretty much new! The box has a tear on it but the system itself is in perfect condition. It's definitely used but the person took great care of it. Almost all the packaging is sealed other than MGS4 and the controller. It was listed as "good" but should have been VG or LN.

I'll try to make people who missed the epic deal feel slightly better (not too much though probably). The PS4 COD ghosts prestige edition I ordered wasn't sealed like someone else's. It's open and missing the season pass (not a surprise though). Congrats to the person who got a new one.

The Forza Horizon Steelbook is very smashed and literally falling apart. The spine is hanging on by a thread.

Amazon accidentally mailed me two copies of Phantasy Star Online for the Original Xbox instead of one copy of Phantasy Star and one copy of Kingdoms of Amalur for the PS3. I'm not even sure if this is worth complaining to Amazon about because I already own Kingdoms of Amalur for the 360.

It sucks the Kinect I bought used at gamestop in november still smells like crap after I cleaned it (smells like scented candles and potpourri and perfume from someone's house). I bought a $7.77 kinect from AWD for a replacement and it smells much worse (like someone dumped a bottle of perfume on it). ing allergies. Kinect sucks donkey anyway.

I ordered a Forza Horizon LE too and the steelbook was dented on the top and bottom of the spine, and the backside had a fairly large dent. The slipcover and disc looked fine although I didn't test the disc.

It was supposed to be in Like New condition so I returned it, if anyone is really on the lookout for the item even after I described it.
