Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?

They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?

Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?

Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?

In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?

On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?

Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

AWD product description says "Factory Sealed", is this item new?

First and foremost, AWD sells used / open box items so in their terms it has been sealed / resealed at an Amazon Warehouse and hence the "Factory Sealed" part so no it isn't necessarily new. It isn't necessarily new because it could go one of two ways:

1. It was traded in / open box return / test unit that was resealed at an Amazon warehouse facility.
2. It was a dinger (new with damaged packaging and with seals intact).

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?

Spoiler

First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

I haven't seen many women working at GS. I think there have been 3 in the past 10 years or so in my area. One of them was my go to for CEs/LEs after they converted. She would even hit other stores on her way to work to pick them up for me. The first time I saw her she was wearing an assassin's creed hoodie with the hood up. She looked up at me with piercing blue eyes as two strands of light brown hair cradled her cheeks. She had a stud in her nose and she had pale skin that gave her a washed out look. (Think Amanda seyfried's coloration.) We hit it off pretty well and talked for a decent amount of time whenever I came in, but eventually she said something about fighting with her girlfriend. I did clarify with something to the effect of "friend that is a girl or..." and she said "no, my girlfriend." (I later confirmed it with a male employee just to make sure it wasn't her trying to let me down easy or something -even though I never made it known I was interested.)

She eventually got promoted, so she jumped from store to store, but she let me know ahead of time and even asked me if she should take the promotion. Last I heard she was no longer with the company and was in another state. oh well.

Well it's their fault that they provided a platform with basically no verification so the people that have these stolen numbers could use them easier. These numbers have basically been useless at reputable retail previously. Never said they got hacked and it's probably far worse that they didn't.

Amazon wasn't hacked. This is beating a dead horse. It was a bunch of phished info released by Anonymous that included a bunch of different account info stolen from the user end, not the actual company end. Amazon wasn't directly hacked. Stating this and then claiming Amazon has been hacked multiple times is essentially fear mongering with false info.

Also recently picked up a ps3 since it's cheap now and want to build up the best ps moves games. I got dead space 2, fight lights out. Any other games that uses the ps move pretty well?

Resonance of fate kinda look interesting, but how long is the gameplay? Any replay value ?

If you are a fan of beat em ups then Dragons Crown is a must have.

Resonance of fate is a great hardcore jrpg with a unique battle system. The characters are like able, but the story makes little sense. Battles can sometimes take a long time regardless of enemy difficulty.

Dragons crown is a great beat em up. The core combat is a lot of fun so you can play endlessly. Sunk over 100 hours into it.

Killzone 3 is fun to play with the move, especially if you grab the gun adapter. RE5 is really good with it too. As for pure move games, I like The Shoot - it's basically a light gun game. And believe it or not, I've heard Order Up! is one of the best Move games out there, tho I haven't picked it up myself (yet).

I thought sorcery looked fun. The controls seemed tight when I saw the demo. I still haven't opened any of my "move" stuff yet.

I got sick of the wii just using the menus/setting it up.

I'm alrightt with her swinging an axe, it is her carrying me off that I'm more concerned about.

There are some attractive girls at the gamestops around here, but the problem is all the girls seem to be like 20 years old. So even when they are giving me the rhythm I assume they are just whoring themselves out to get another pur pro member rather than trying to spark something with a 30 year old (me).

They never did that for me. Somebody get the violin!

More on topic: I bought an Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive from Amazon Warehouse. Any awesome exclusive HD-DVDs that never made it to Blu-ray worth getting? Also, this thing is region-free with regular DVDs and HD-DVDs?

I know a bit morbid but I tend to focus on the positive that being "Seize the day" and make every moment count or as is my own twist on that saying "Seize the deal". Having said that, let us focus back on topic and onto the deals.

I don't think Amazon could do much about it. Your best bet would be to either drop it off at the post office or at the address listed on the package (whichever is more convenient).
