I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?

They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?

Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?

Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?

In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?

On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?

Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

AWD product description says "Factory Sealed", is this item new?

First and foremost, AWD sells used / open box items so in their terms it has been sealed / resealed at an Amazon Warehouse and hence the "Factory Sealed" part so no it isn't necessarily new. It isn't necessarily new because it could go one of two ways:

1. It was traded in / open box return / test unit that was resealed at an Amazon warehouse facility.
2. It was a dinger (new with damaged packaging and with seals intact).

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?

Spoiler

First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Got some of my stuff. Here's a quick rundown/first impression.

X360 250 GB Kinect (G)-Came with the box and paperwork. Looks to be in good condition and didn't have a lot of scratches. Looks to include everything needed. Still have to hook it up and test it.

PS3 120 GB (A)-Came in a generic white shipping box, as expected. Console looks to be in surprisingly good condition with little/no scratches. Controller looks good.

DS Lite Black (A)-Came in generic white box. No scratches on the screen. Bottom screen does have some yellowing, but nothing too major. Was missing the Slot 2 cover and some minor scratches on the outside of the DS. Hinges were tight. Charger was included.

3DS Aqua-OG packaging with charging stand. Looks like everything important was included. Turns on. No scratches on screen. Only minor scratches on the outside of the casing. Slide pad feels tight. 

DS Lite Pink (G)-Came in original box with paperwork and charger. Some scratches on outside of casing. Turned on. No scratches on screen. 

Vita Wi-Fi (LN)-Was the 3G Wi Fi model. Did not include a memory card, though it didn't come with one new I was hoping it would have one. Came in original box with paperwork. I believe it has everything it would if new. No scratches on screen or case. Sticks and buttons feel tight. TUrned on.

Xbox 360 Controller (G)-Came in white box. Sticks are tight and feels like it's in good condition. Stil have to connect it.

Still have a couple of things coming tomorrow or Friday but definitely happy with what I got. My Vita was $80 so wish it would have been one of the $50 models, but to complain about that seems very very greedy. Happy with everything so far but still have to run through and test everything thoroughly.

$54 Vita also came complete and it works fine, oled is amazing!

$8 Wiimote plus came complete with an EXTRA nunchuck! I ordered one separately for no reason I guess...>.>

$11 NBA was new from that dumb promo

Everything is creeping up in price. Reminds me of last year when after a low cycle like this we went to that awful high cycle near the end of May that was only broken in August to being in between high and mid cycle until October. I hope I am wrong but this does not look good.  (

Things can be a hit or miss with these older units. It happens! Amazon has your backs so no worries. Their are success stories out there too and hopefully yours are as well. Given prior experiences is the reason to inspect them immediately to avoid any hassles later on. Good luck to you both. I still got some more packages coming down the road so it remains to be seen what condition they will be in.

Oh yeah no I've had only great experiences with amazon even with bad packages. My big concern is that since it's my sister, she won't be able to mail it back or handle it or whatever if it's broken. I dunno. Maybe I'm paranoid. Excited for my (A) PS2. That one I'm less worried about since it's coming to me. Either way my NBA 2K15 was delivered today so at the least I'll have that to go by. My PS2 was on the same UPS truck but is still marked as not delivered though, NBA2K15 was so I'm a bit worried they forgot to deliver it?

My 3ds has been stuck in "preparing for shipment" since early this morning. it has no estimated date. Looks like I may get that one cancelled too. Thought I was in the clear when it went from not shipped to preparing for shipment as usually at that point there are no cancellations; guess well see.

I got my $212.xx PS4(A) yesterday. Definitely won on this gamble. Wasn't a dinger, but definitely an interesting scenario. Controller was new with stickers all intact around buttons and arrows, USB and A/C cords were sealed, HDMI was taped, Headset was not packaged but no signs of use, manuals were sealed, and $10 PSN code worked. As for the system... Glossy part had a thin light scuff down the middle, light dust in the gap between base and top,very light scratches on the glossy top, and a minor rough edge on the right side. System fired up and ran the initial install and ran fine. I did notice a slight click when it was powering up and restarting... Common?

2 PS2 Slims in generic brown boxes - 1 Came complete with a couple scuffs the other came the same way but missing AV. $12 each

1 PS2 slim came complete in original box *DINGER* $13

1 4gb 360 slim came complete in box and appeared to be a dinger, but once i opened it and went to put the loose 320 gb hd that i bought that night for $19 I found out that there was a 320 gb inside already! came with all cables and controller as well!  -$39 for the xbox 320gb set

1 250gb came just now and was a dinger! $47

1 160gb PS3 black friday bundle came complete in original box (and with the previous owners fry's receipt from 11/25/11) and LN. had both games and all cords. works fine so far. he bought it for 199.99 with 6 $.99 hdmi cables and didnt even include one ( the nerve of some people ) and i got it forrrrrrr $49

1 ps3 160 gb slim came good but not in original box. was complete and with an hdmi cable ill switch out for some av when i trade it in. $49

1 aqua blue 3ds came complete in box with all accessories and cables @ 47

1 matte black dsi came complete but no box.  @$13.01

2 360 controllers came loose but LN  @ 9.68 each and 1 sixaxis came LN at 5.98

still have more to come but im sure thats all for today as every Shipping company has made their rounds lol. Some came a day early too. rest is dues tomorrow and monday

Mine clicks when it starts up. I'm pretty sure that's normal.

Just got my 3G Vita and it came in the original box with charger it even had a 4GB memory card inside the Vita. This Vita looks like whoever previously owned it only used it once.

And the wireless Xbox Controller also looks brand new.

I ordered 1 Ps2 slim, but it received an original PS2  complete with a extra game in a white box.

1 Xbox 360 Halo Reach arrived with one controller in a white box.

1 chatpad arrived completed in a white box

1 360 HD DVD player arrived in original box, but it doesn't include the remote control

1 Sega Dreamcast arrived in original box, but it doesn't include the controller.

I just notice that the headset in the chatpad is for Xbox One.

Well my (G) Red Wii and (LN) Tales Of Symphonia Chronicles PS3 are getting ready to ship out. 

My Crimson/Black DS Lite (G) still says preparing to ship, and my copy of 2k15 for xbox and ps4 have a estimated ship date of Apr 15-21 and i order those 2 day prime as soon as the price came up. lol

My acceptable Black DS Lite came today with charger and stylus. The system is a bit beat up with scratches, slight cracking on the hinge, and what looks like bite marks, but it's in working condition and all in one piece. I mainly got it for import games of which I only have a few, so for 17 bucks I can't complain too much. I'll also play some more stylus friendly DS games on it since the screen is already messed up so as to spare my 3DS XL and N3DS XL.

My acceptable 250 gb 360 came in. Console and power brick only. Pretty sure its an actual 250 GB as when i boot up without the drive it shows there is no storage at all.

360 and ps3 G controllers came in. Both loose. Look fine. The 360 controller has a weird gray on the bottom and not black like im used to but im sure its a real one and not a knock off.

Guess I lucked out the 250GB uncharted 3 bundle (A) even came with the GOTY bundle controller, power cord, A/V cable and usb cable. The bottom of the super slim had a slight chip in the corner.

The acceptable condition $65 PS3 also came with everything except the A/V cable, kind of a shocked here as the system was only dusty otherwise it looked pretty minty! It even included the original box.

Just traded in 4 consoles for $700! Sold 2 Halo Reach 360's, 1 Black Friday 2011 PS3 (kept the box and games) and my friends 160GB PS3 that he also got from the Amazon sale. Total spent: $200 on all the consoles together.

Went to my local store where I know some of the employees. They knew I'd trade in multiple and had no problem with it. Tested all the consoles and formatted them right than and there. I did not have HDMI cords or a controller but went to Walmart and price matched all of them for $60. Going to sell the cords and controllers Amazon is sending me (since they are brand new) to cover that cost.

I end up getting a Last of Us Remastered PS4 and $300 in Amazon credit! Amazing deal!

EDIT: I wasn't charged tax for some reason. I assume b/c I was using trade in credit.

I bought one PS3 and I'm keeping it, never owned one before.

Unfortunately they shipped it FedEx, and they've misdelivered every package sent to me for the last year. Sometimes they recover it, sometimes they don't.
