How are retailer exclusives being sold outside of the US? Are they still exclusives to certain stores, or are they just distributed normally?
 
I'm seriously doubting the pre order goes live today now. It's this late in the day and nothing yet. Since target is CST I'd say they would do this either at midnight or when stores open.

This is just opinion but I'm still stalking that page. Regularly.
 
Places like Amiami and Play-Asia are also options. I've had good experiences with both. Obviously gonna be a bit pricier, but I'd rather take a hit now and not sweat staring at one page all day.

 
Okay, so gotta run out for a 60 minutes or so... so I imagine Target will open their pre-orders for this 60 minutes, and they will sell out.  If they do, and someone has a shred of mercy in them, order me an extra ;)

Fuuu wanted to order a second Dedede but didn't want to order him solo out of fear of being crushed when they packaged him in a plastic bag so I kept hesitating. I'm really worried BBY is going to fuck up this B2G1 order that Dedede is in.

Edit- Sonic's sold out as well.

I really hate the poses for both Mario and Luigi. I'm seriously considering passing on both of them until their inevitable version 2.

If you're going to give Mario a fireball, then make his overalls white. And Luigi just looks dumb, give that man a vacuum and a frightened expression on his face.
 
The holidays can't end soon enough, this amiibo **** is getting out of hand. Glad I preordered the ones I wanted a while back.

What I never got about Mario's pose is that to me it looks like his fireball should be going the other way. Like is he swinging it around for some reason? That's the only thing I can think of but his hand's not really on it so he's catching it? I have no idea, just looks wrong to me.

it's too much of a hassle to deal with third-party services to get something from amazon.jp

go with uk, fr, or de. Got my wii u extended battery from uk and the amiibos from de. May get the gamecube adapter from fr.

I'm scared as well as that my Dedede will just be lost and it looks like he'll be rare. I'd be heartbroken.

As a side note, love the Louis avatar.
 
Well I just pre-ordered Toon Link, Mega Man and Sheik from BBY.  Had Sheik at Amazon but with how terrible they seemed to be thought I should double down.  Don't want Mega Man but I didn't expect Sonic to sell out this early so thought I should be safe.

I agree. While I ordered both of these, I would have rather seen different poses. The Tamakeri Luigi looks really awkward, with where they put the stand it looks like he's trying really hard to rest all of his weight square on his nuts.

I noticed when i started playing smash the other day that all of the Amiibos are in the pose that they are pictured as in the character select pictures.

I noticed that too. Kind of interesting.

I didn't expect all the wave 3 to be selling out this soon, except the exclusives. I was hoping to wait for another sale before preordering the rest. Ugh, you're killing me Nintendo.

This round of amiibo are all based off of the official art for the characters in smash 4. This is also the same as their trophy for finishing classic mode. Every character has a 2nd trophy for beating all star mode, so there are 49 or so new amiibo designs just waiting to be made!

Anyone else pre-ordered Dedede from TRU? I don't think it was ever listed ,but someone in this topic gave a link to him and I pre-ordered him. It's just weird that he never showed up on the amiibo page. I just hope I get him.

 
So Luigi is out at TRU? Is it all of them as my local one said they do not have it but he sounded pretty shady saying it. Just want to get a backup in case the one I am getting for christmas from a family member doesn't come in from amazon. Also will have to see if my little cousin wants it first, but I do happen to have an extra Little Mac if any CAG wants it sent to them.
