Here's some new clearance starting Monday September 3. It looks like it could be YMMV. One store has Elder Scrolls IV dropping to 29.99 while another will drop it to 29.98. I have no idea why. So again it could be YMMV.

I would have picked up Splinter Cell: Double Agent for the Playstation 2, since it's a different game than the PC/PS3/360 game I'll also eventually pick up (when it comes down to

Picked these up recently:

Tales of Phantasia GBA - $6.48 - up for trade
Perfect Dark Zero (LE) XB360 - $12.98
Monster Hunter Freedom PSP - $24.98

Monster Hunter is a bit expensive, though it's cheaper than eBay and I haven't seen it anywhere else in a while.
 
Wish mine had Perfect Dark Zero for that price. I wouldn't mind playing it again. I don't think it has it at all anymore, and it was full price ($30) until they sold out.
 
Nice. I finally bought it fro $15 at Best Buy Friday. Only reason I didn't pick it up sooner is I already beat it last year when I rented it.

I know it may be a little old, but heck, doesn't hurt to raise it from the dead every now and then right?

PSP_3>_PS2, I know the feeling, I did it with a lot of games before. Especially sucks since we're all CAG's at heart.

I actually took back Suikoden Tactics cause I didn't like it. So I got my money back...but we have a bunch of copies cause no one buys em'.

The original clearance thread with these games is still alive and well.

And while clearance titles are the same throughout the company, the prices can be YMMV. Suikoden, for example, is 3.98 at one store, but can be 11.98 at another.

Similar things have happened at the TRU I used to work at. FFX was 8.98 at my store, but the next nearest store had it for like 17.98.

There's already an active TRU clearance thread. All the good threads are getting buried because people are starting so many redundant new ones.
 
is there another round of price cuts on the current clearance? coz i checked my TRU and they actually re-stickered on some titles.

one that i can remember is MGS3:Snake Eater (ps2) for $6.98. it used to be $12.98.
 
Summon Night: Swordcraft Story dropped from $25.98 to $13 last week, but that was the only drop I saw.

Drops are largely YMMV since other stores had Summon Night cheaper by about 50%.

On the 10th I picked up, all PS2:

Tomb Raider Legend - 16.98
The Sopranos (reg) - 8.48
Drakengard 2 - 5.95

The red-tagged clearance games (first two) were an additional 15% off. This was the TRU in Gurnee, IL.

I'm not sure I understand the clearance thing, is that whole 20% off thing 20% off of these prices, or is ut just an extra 5% off from 15% to 20%? Or do these new prices reflect that drop?
