I got an email saying it's ready for Pickup. I door store pick-up whenever I can since BBY is between work and my house, and I don't like having packages on my doorstep.

Oh ok. Mine still isn't showing as shipped.

Anyone have any tips for when I eventually call cs about it being late? (a $10 GC is the goal)
 
Be warned the Wolfenstein Old Blood platinum a touch tougher than New Order.  I'm playing it right now, you can still do the same trick of playing on normal and replaying the last chapter to get the uber trophy but you have to do 10 challenge maps and some of them are extremely tough.

Its a really fun game though, especially if you liked TNO - and if you didn't like it you are probably a Nazi.

After this the only things I have left are Ryse, Final Fantasy X | X2, Dragon Age Inq, and then I'm all ready for the fall games.  bring it on

I couldn't complete all of those in a year, haha. Must be nice to have that kind of time to game

Holy crap, I didn't realize Old Blood was going to have a full 50/1000 for achievements. Also, did you notice every single achievement is 20 points? That's gotta be a first.

So, funny thing happened when I went to go pickup my copy today. I didn't realize it until I got back to work, but they slapped the pickup sticker on a copy of Wolfenstein The New Order, instead of Old Blood. So now I am debating what to do...

1) Take it back and try to swap it for Old Blood. Because honesty, and BBY has been great lately etc. But, looking at their website it looks like Old Blood is still in Pre-Order status and they might not have a copy in the building. I don't want to go in to swap it, and then end up leaving empty handed. I bought the game with a $10 GC, so if I do a straight up return and cancel my order, I'll have to deal with getting my GC refuneded, with I think might be fast, but I might have thrown away the physical card already (GODDAMNIT).

2) Toss New Order up for sale, hoping to get at least $16 in my pocket for it, and then go buy a physical copy of Old Blood when it finally shows up. Chances are good I might not get that much for it.

3) See #1, but wait a few days until they might have it in-stock.

UGH. It's probably going back in a few days I'm thinking.

Halo was added over a year in advanced IIRC haha...Here's hoping they add it for those interested and it includes all the DLC or some sort of extras. Even if it does Im buying it used, I dont like the deal they made with MS one bit.

If I was able to get in on the Arkham Knight walmart price match, does that cancel out the $10 certificate? I called Customer Service but they were confused at how I got the limited edition for so cheap and kept telling me "well it's already been applied" and then I had to explain their own system to them. But I didn't know if it was worth escalating to try and get, because I did preorder that game - way back in Jan!

One quick question?

Does Best Buy offer price match on top of the 20% off with GCU?

More specifically, would Best Buy match the $52.99 from Amazon/Amazon Prime for Halo 5: Guardians and follow that up with a 10.58 discount?

You should pre-order the game you want at least 3 weeks in advance, that usually means you will get the $10 bonus within 2-4 days of pickup/delivery.  You can wait until the day before, but then you are looking at waiting a full 15 days for the $10.  There are a ton more games in Nov (Fallout 4, Tomb Raider, Battlefront, Call of Duty) so pretty easy to stack up a few, roll it into a Nov game, and trade in the ones you play to pay off at pickup time.

Last year Madden 15 had a deal where if you traded (in store) Madden 14 you got an extra $10 (I think) coupon off Madden 15, but it doesn't look like that deal is gonna repeat itself since the release date is creeping up.

So I'm thinking of having a pre order delivered instead of doing in store pick up. It says it will be delivered on release day. Has anyone done this recently? Did your preorder arrive on release day or was it later?

So far I've preordered:
GTA, FC4, The Show, Witcher and Batman LE for delivery and they all arrived release day around 3pm via UPS. Hope that helps.

Anyone else getting some of their preordered games backordered?  I had Rare Replay and Mad Max on Xbox One put on backorder when I preordered over a month ago.  They just recently changed to this.

Mine is backordered too. I called best buy and they said it wasn't. They said I would still get it on release day. I don't know if I believe the rep though.
 
It was mentioned in Bestbuy ad thread that they're doing the trade up promo for Madden again this year starting sunday 8/9. For Madden 15 you get a 20$ gift card for X1/PS4 versions and 15$ for 360/PS3 copies . You also get a 10$ off coupon for Madden 16 . Assuming it's the same as last year the coupon will come off first then the 20%. So 60$ - 10$ (coupon) = 50$ - 20% gcu (10$) = 40 $ total . Then you have the gc from trading in Madden 15 to put towards 16 if you so choose . You'll also get the 10$ rz cert for pre ordering . One thing to note is last year the coupon was in store only and could not be used online .

If you preordered something using that $20 and then cancelled the order the points should be returned to your account and then it would issue a new $20 reward certificate. Any cancelled order would work but a preordered item wouldn't be shipped so you wouldn't have to worry about a return.

Somebody feel free to correct me if that has changed.

I wouldn't abuse it too much but if you're desperate to hold on to that $20 for a later date it should work.

 
Any word on Just Cause 3?  Seems like a good candidate and Square Enix games have a good track record for being added.

I noticed that God of War 3 didn't have the $10 promo, and I see neither Uncharted game does. Guess I'll just wait for a price drop on those, thanks for clearing that up
