yea I can't believe they're doing a midnight for MKX. I'm a fan of MK but don't think it deserves a midnight but whatever

And I think it was Duty my best buy was suppose to open at 11 (to match the 12 eastern time) but it didn't, the one that is a little further away ended up doing it at 11. So might wanna make sure what time the doors are opening for those who plan on going.

 
I thought I read here that Best Buy has a place on their forum where people can suggest games for future $10 certificate pre-order bonuses. I can't find it on BB's website. Has anyone done that? I'm hoping to get PGA Tour added (since it's an EA game and they did it with Battlefield Hardline).

You can still preorder as long as the website still shows the "preorder" option ($10 rewards will still come) -- I've preordered some games a day or 2 before release without a problem

 
if you haven't preordered yet may wanna preorder for in store pickup, they are doing a midnite launch monday nite 9pm PST, 12am EST etc.  Could play hours and hours before people who ordered it for delivery, like me :(

mine shipped today too which is kinda weird, last few preorders have shipped sunday night and arrived tuesday.  Can't track mine yet, dunno if its coming monday or tue

Yeah, mine shipped too. My previous ones were shipped on Monday and I would get them Tues. Maybe early MK???? Probably not.

I'm getting the Collector's Edition from Amazon and I'm pretty sure you get a Steam code with all retail copies of TW3. You might want to double check this though to be sure.

EDIT: Ah shit after looking into it you may be right, no Steam code in retail copies. I really don't like this but the Collector's Edition extras will make it worthwhile for me.

BFH was shipped for me on Monday UPS next day air from OH and received Tuesday.

MKX was shipped today UPS ground from CA and scheduled for Tuesday.

I ordered this last Monday. 

It looks to me that they probably use inventory and shipping metrics to figure out how/when/where to ship it from so it'll get delivered on Tuesday.

 
My MKX shipped today. Checked UPS shipping just now and said it's "scheduled for early delivery" Monday! Never had that happen.

Is the release day delivery a permanent thing now? I remember asking here about this for the Advanced Warfare and GTAV release and someone told me it was just for the holidays.

Thanks for the answers to my question. I was able to preorder last night for store pickup. I glanced at the preorder page last week and didn't see MKX but maybe I just missed it on the page. Either way I got in on the preorder so thanks!

 
It would actually be good up until Jan 31 2017. So if you hit Elite tomorrow, it'd be good for the rest of this year, all of next year, and the first month of the following year.

Personally I just started shopping at BB last year. I hit Elite in October and in December I hit Elite Plus. I'm currently sitting around $1300 spent this year, so I shouldn't have a problem hitting Elite Plus again.

I think the best thing with Elite/Elite Plus is the early access to the Thanksgiving/Black Friday deals. I was able to purchase everything I wanted online the Monday before Thanksgiving, so I didn't have to go out. A lot of my friends/family are into the whole Black Friday shopping, so they use me for anything from BB.
 
Ok, I don't fully understand. Wtf is My Best Buy/Reward Zone? If I'm already in the Gamer's Club or whatever does that count? Can I still get the $10 off coupon? If not I'm not paying an EXTRA fee for some BS I'm never going to use. I just want to pre-order MKX+season pass for cheap. My local Target is apparently out or some nonsense, so I can't take advantage of the $20 off deal they have.

So to be clear, can I pre-order at BB, get 20% off the game with my GCU membership, get $5 off the season pass, and use the $10 off coupon on TOP of that?

EDIT: Oh, and I've heard about a new mover's coupon. Will that stack as well?

Yesterday I went to Best Buy and got the Gamers Club unlocked so now Im good til April 2017 :) also got Xenoblade Chronicles..today I received a coupon in my email box for 5 bucks any game(And it can stack with GCU) but I can only use it til May 11th..I want to get The Witcher(Not sure for what console yet) but that doesnt come out til the 19th so not sure what I Can do with this coupon

My BB is their reward system. You get points from most purchases which can be redeemed for certificates. Occasionally, you'll get coupons and invitations to special sales events. GCU is specific to games. It's a part of the reward system but those who elect to subscribe get additional savings to games and other bonuses

As for your scenario, I don't see why not

Nice. I just checked their website and they're actually explicitly advertising this exact deal, so I am for sure doing this today. And I'm apparently already a My BB member, so that's good. The only thing I'm curious about now is this mover's coupon...

Just make sure your MyBB and GCU are linked. If you purchased GCU with your MyBB account, you should be good to go. Also since you seem to be new. The $10 reward Certificate for preordering is issued in MyBB points. So you won't just get a Cert, you'll receive 500 MyBB reward points. 250pts=$5. And you manage your points and Certs from the BB website. You can turn points into Certs in $5 increments. And after you have a Cert on your account, you can use it instore or online. Instore after you give them your MyBB card or phone number, just tell them you want to use a Cert. Or you can go the old fashion way and print it out. Personally I normally just stack my points, recently I've used a $90 Cert.

Well it says I have $0 in Certificates or whatever on my account page even though I'm a member, so I'm kinda confused. I can't just go in and tell them I'm a member and to look me up? I actually have to have a coupon/printout or something? Also, I don't even know if my MyBB and GCU are linked. How can I do that?

your recieve the points after you purchase the game. It usually takes a few days to a couple of weeks to get posted

and no you cant tell a BB employee to look up your points. Thats something you have to manage on your own. They can look up certificates, but you have to convert the points into certificates first. You can do it manually or select an option from the website to have it automatically converted when you've reached a $5 increment. I tend to go the manual route, bc once a certificate has been issued, there is an expiration date. No need to issue unless you know you will use it

You will receive the points once you picked up re pre-ordered game, not just for pre-ordering it.
