I decided 2 buy just for the heck of it, and i used a $5 rewards zone coupon because I just found out that they are redeeming it automatically now so i have like two $5 coupons just waiting til they expire, also used a gift card with $5.25 on it so it 17 cents outta pocket

Their system wouldn't take it because the Reward Zone cert has to be less than the pre-tax price of the purchase, even if it is short by one penny.

Whenever I come across this I usually waste a ton of time trying to find as cheap a filler as possible.

Went by tonight and bought a copy in store.

They had around 10 copies on the shelves. It showed $49.99 on the shelf placard but rang up for $4.99 at the register without issue.

Also picked up LA Noire for $9.99 used. I noticed they had marked it down on their website within the last few days. It was the only copy they had at my location.

I've wanted the game since it came out and unfortunately missed the "one day only deal" a few months back from Best Buy that was on a Sunday. I think it was $10 then as well but new obviously. Would've preferred the GoTY Edition but for the price difference I settled.

Sin & Punishment: Star Successor for $5 is such a crime. I'm a bit sad to see this though, since the game should have sold WAY more copies than it did.

Best Buy's website updates daily between 1:00AM-2:00AM EST. So the deal most likely will last till 10PM Pacific but to be safe buy it before 9PM Pacific.

Just a heads up - at my local Kmart store in Durham, NC, they had a few Sin & Punishments out on clearance for $7. Those clearances are probably specific to individual stores, but it might be worth checking out your local Kmart.
