When are they available?
It's random and can happen during any day of the week. Usually starts around 1:00 AM EST to 1:30 AM EST.

Is it the same price in store?
Yes.

Will Amazon price match?
It depends on if enough people alert them to the deal and if Best Buy still have stock available for shipping.

How long are these deals available?
For up to 24 hours or until the item sells out.

Will Best Buy price match a DotD item I already purchased?
No. All Deal of the Day products are of Limited Quantities and are excluded from the Best Buy Price Match Guarantee.
(Official policy of Best Buy but depending on the customer service rep handling the price match you might still be able to get it done.)

I never liked Kingdom Hearts but for $10 ill try it out and I need more 3Ds games. Had to choose to ship because no store near me has it in stock according to the stock locator and I don't have time to walk into the store in the morning to see if its really out of stock.

Resellers. Lock in the ship to store or delivery while you can. They're going for 20+ on eBay and Amazon new and, while the price will drop for a few weeks after this sale, El Hoardo will buy in bulk and bide his time . . .

So I'm looking at the official FAQ and it says online only for the price, the first post says also in store? I am also reading and seeing that some of you are going to PM. Can someone clear it up for me?

Is this price also going to be in store or would I have to try and PM/order online and do in store pickup? Thanks.

El Hoardos aren't smart enough. They throw them all up same day they buy them. Then wonder ummm why it no get 20 no more when yesterday it did. ;-)

It should work in-store, but if the price does not show up then you can just tell the cashier that its on sale on the website and they'll price match no problem.

Seeing as you can only put 1 in your cart, I doubt its someone reselling it. We're sure to see a few of these on eBay in the coming days though.

I had the ship to store selected for tonight but I was working on a project and I noticed that it went live so I went to check out and almost the whole county got cleared.

The closest one to me in is far away in a neighboring county.

I wanted to pick up one for myself and one to trade the Club Nintendo code. I'm so close to Platinum this time.

That's what mine said so I cancelled it and chose just regular direct shipping to my house...I thought it was weird too
 
I'm planning to head to Best Buy in the morning. Only 1 store around me has it so hopefully they have plenty of copies. I'll probably pick up Super Mario 3D Land too.

The el hoardos around here use craigslist. They're truly awful. You'll see them post stuff like 'brand new xbox 360 in the box only 289 bucks what a deal' then you look at it and it's clearly a used 360 with a generic box, then they will post how the thing MSRP's for 399 new and he's pricing it to sell.

I will email them on occasion just to mess with them. Had a guy once selling a retina iPad for 600 bucks, I texted to see if the pricing was correct. It was a 16GB wifi. I said aren't these only 499 new? His response was psh no dude they're like 700 new, get out of here.

Then had a guy selling an SNES for 1000 dollars....because they sold for 10,000 on ebay. I texted him and offered 60 bucks, he didn't think that was funny.



Oh and to whoever said it lets you add one at a time, el hoardo has several credit cards and different emails that he ain't afraid to use to make his 5 dollar profit.

Does anyone know if status: item will be shipped to the store is normal when placing an order for store pickup after hours? It said they had stock and it says estimated pickup 5/16 I just don't know if I have seen that before.
 
Damn that went fast. Got my copy in, was gonna go back and order one for my cousin but now its unavailable for both

And yeah savethekey, its normal. Almost every instore pickup I do late at night gives "An item needs to be shipped to store" but every time so far it was there the same day.
