I did see the new Star Wras double packs at a BL here in Richmond. ABsolutely awesome assortments, for $3 a game. Republic Commando is a must-play if you haven't.
Yes, definitely for 3 dollars.

Went to my local Southern California big lots:

Flatout Ultimate Carnage (has XBL achievements) $6
Warhammer Battle March $6
Went to my local Big Lots on west Shaw in Fresno, CA and they have Classic Game 2 packs. They had

Star Wars: Republic Commando/ Star Wars Battlegrounds Saga
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast/ Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
Star Wars Battlefront/ Battlefront II
Puzzle Quest/ a game I cant remember

They were all $6 for each 2 pack. I picked up Star Wars: Republic Commando/ Star Wars Battlegrounds and the Jedi Knight 2 pack. I might go pick up the Battlefront Combo later. They Had about 4 sets of each.
Thanks for this. Without your post, I probably would have overlooked the packs even though they're in ugly yellow packaging (thankfully the games themselves are in regular jewel cases).

Like others have said, Big Lots has dried up for PC games in the past 1+ year. Hopefully they sell well so we get more. Although PC games always seemed to sell quickly in the past (the good titles at least).

*MEGABUMP!!!!!*

Going to Big lots in a little bit. My local one had SW double packs but they sold out after about 2 weeks after i bought the Battlefront one. Goind to the one i got NBA LIve 08 from because i remember seeing some great games there.

Excluding the Star Wars double packs, my Big Lots hasn't had anything new since the huge City of Heroes/Villains shipment.

Same old stuff from 08-09.

No dice for me. Just the horrible line of EA Sports 08 games. Hopefully they do something. Ever since they redesigned there stores the pc games have gotten no love

Ditto here in Louisiana. My Big Lots stores have been holding the same crap ever since they got in a ton of $3 and $6 DVDs. I don't think I've seen any new PC stuff in over a year.

I managed to grab xbox dj hero renegade for $25, also saw dj hero 1 and shred for $20 and guitar hero with real guitar? for 30 bucks.

I picked up Flatout UC for PC for $6 here in VA...havent been in BL in some time but i havent seen a whole lot of PC games last i went.

What other big lots is there in VA? The only one I know of is Fredericksburg's and I was there a couple days ago. Only saw NWN2:MotB and Act of War. I'd love to pick up MGS2 or the Eidos pack. Hell, I'd pick up more than that, I'm sure.
Some of these games are on clearance now. I picked up a neverwinter knights expansion for $1
Actually, not, this expansion, and Act of War came out of the gate at $1 this spring. This was the last shipment of PC games to Big Lots that we've seen.

We miss you PCGirl. If you're still listening, what's the story with BL and PC games these days?

Last time I was there I saw nothing new as far as PC games, or games in general for that matter. I think their last big shipment had the DJ hero stuff and before that Rise of the Six strings. For a couple years now they've been slacking as far as PC stuff though, for sure.

If I had to guess, other discount stores like 5 Below are picking up a lot of the liquidated boxed PC games. And consider that fewer physical PC games are being manufactured (digital downloads) and I doubt we'll ever see another golden age of $4 games at BL again.

Was trying to look for this Big Lot thread. Anyway, was by there and all I saw was Kane & Lynch and the old Space Quest Collection. I concur that it looks like BL is no longer receiving new PC games. Has anyone found anything at their stores at all and is PCGirl still around? It seems that the places I have been venturing to for PC game deals is Target (clearance) and Amazon as of late.

Back from the dead! But ya, I haven't seen any new pc games either. Sad days. :/

I also always look when I am there at multiple locations and I never see any PC games either. I don't think it's cost effective for most stores to carry boxed PC games anymore, not even discount stores.

I've seen plenty of PC games recently, but none were worth buying. Most were shovelware or old sports titles. I think the last time I saw anything worthwhile was when they had the Star Wars double packs.

My stores get regular stock of DVDs, very seldom stock of games, and haven't gotten a new pc game in probably years. Half Price Books is the place for boxed pc games now.
