Well the first ads are leaking, so I figured I would create the thread and get the party going. It is only 1 month way. As deals get added and flyers released, they will be added here.

2 good websites to check:
Actually I've heard that Target won't be price adjusting for black friday prices due to a corporate telling them not to. They say it's because the black friday ads have already "leaked", and so they won't be price adjusting.

ymmv though, but honestly they seem to be pretty strict about it this year.
If they want to deny me they can try but I have a written statement from them saying they will.

If they want to dispute that we can both have a chat with their corporate office on speakerphone from my cell, failing that they can take back everything I bought and refund me the money on my credit card.

If they don't want to allow something like that then they need to put the exclusion in the BF ad like BestBuy does.
I really hoping Amazon will pm WM's Harry Potter 1-5 on Blu. I went to customer service at my local WM and they said they will not be pm'ing or price adjusting on friday.
They have been running ads on radio all day saying that ALL Wal-Marts will be price matching. If you've been told they will NOT, call 1-800-WAL-MART and lodge a formal complaint TODAY saying that you've been told your local store will NOT be honoring the policy that is stated in their national broadcasts. The store management will be REQUIRED to call you back and I doubt that the Home Office will want to hear that they are not following their policies as they are using this as a big draw to get the most BF business again this year.

So have they been advertising that they will price match AND/OR price adjust? Or just price match?
Price match.
Not really concerned with the price match as I'm getting all my stuff at best buy. Thanks for the info though. :D

No problem. Besides I don't like Wal-Mart much myself either.

Am i going crazy or did i recently see Supernatural Season 4 on sale at Best buy?

I really want to pick up Entourage Season 1-5 for $10 each at Best Buy. It be great if Amazon matched those prices.

Has there been any better deals on Entourage in the last year?

JD-that's a good deal. I think it was the same last year-though truthfully I can't remember where I bought it. I think CC (before they went OOB and were taken over) had one of the reasons for $1.99, but I don't remember if they honored it or not. I don't think you can go wrong with $10. Hopefully AMZ matches it for you:) Good Luck!

Have extra spending money this year for BF, so I was not able take advantage of any Entourage deals last year. Thanks Digitalbabe,

That's great, except that when you got that, it was probably before corporate decided against it. So go ahead and act all high and mighty about calling corporate, but they will still most likely say no. For that matter, you really think your the first to try and cheat the system that way, and that they won't be expecting it? Hate to break it to you, but people like you are the reason why costumer service is so annoying because they pull crap like this, and then act like spoiled brats to try and get there way.

While you make a strong point I must counter you by simply saying its very dickish of companies to change policies at the last minute like this. Policies like this should have been
well established by Target by late October/early November. Target damn well knows by now that the Black Friday ads get leaked online so that excuse doesn't fly either.

Also its customer, not "costumer."

Well if they want to deny me they very well have better taken down the price adjustment sign in customer service because when I checked there today it was still up and had no exclusions to the 2 Day Sale, nor did I see anything posted on the "policy board."

Sorry to bursts Target's bubble that "spoiled brats" like me are "annoying" when we're trying to save money. They can change their ads like BestBuy has done to specficially exclude it. We're talking about adding a simple line of text to the advertisement. The way the economy is this year I'd think they'd rather just do the price adjustment and let it be rather than lose a $357 sale if I return everything.

I just PMed a bunch of Blu-Rays to BestBuy today at Target and got $60 back and that wasn't a problem.

So the Entourage seasons 1-5 are showing up as well. But the $15 in shipping is killing the deal and you can't chose in-store pickup.

argh, dammit, Wanted (Blu) was $14.99 earlier which I assumed (ahem) was Amazon's lame attempt to PM Best Buy + tax; now it drops to $10 after I ordered from BB. :(

I have a bunch of TV seasons in my cart for Best Buy but am hesitant to pull the trigger-- but they're not the advertised shows, anyone think Amazon will PM some of these "non-advertised" sales, like Third Rock from the Sun for $9.99/season?

I'd likely say NO unless one season is in the ad and it has "Season X-X also available."

If they're not advertised in the ad at all, then they likely won't match them as good as what BB is offering, but they might discount them some.

I ordered American Psycho and Departed on Amazon. Came out to 15 and change. :)

Is Entourage S1 worth checking out for 10 bucks? I've never seen the show before.

It's a fantastic show. A bit formulaic, but still excellent. Definitely check it out for $10

Yeah, I missed them at Target when the first two seasons were in a double pack for $18.99
Is the Boondock Saints worth a blind buy? I can get that and Fight Club for 20 bucks at Amazon.
Totally worth it!

So, I bought the following just now:

Transformers 2
Braveheart
The Departed
Gladiator
Wanted
Ice Age DotD
See No Evil
Road House

and DBZ Raging Blast for PS3. I used my $100 gc from the xbox's promo earlier and the $5 gc I got for buying myself a gc earlier in the month, lol. Total out of pocket was $2.94; but since I'm going to return this DBZ to GS for the $39.99 I bought it from them originally, I'm getting some money back...saving in the end :)

EDIT - Wow and they are shipping soon!
I've been wondering that as well.
MvA is literally the only "deal" BRD I'm left wanting. Everything else from the BF sales I've picked up (this year was a little more sparse than previous years, oddly).

Grabbed Wanted, TF: ROTF (why? I don't know), Ice Age: DOTD, Quantum of Solace, and a few others.
is ice age 3 price for today only? will it be same for tomorrow?
should be good for tomorrow cause that $10 price is matching wally's bf price

Have DS, will wait it out. :D

Same. The tax and shipping kills it for me as well.
Why isn't Amazon PMing Monsters Vs. Aliens? Boo.

I really don't want to drop $3 on shipping from Best Buy.
That will be a lightning deal tomorrow.

Just picked up Cars Gift Set (Combo Pack with DVD) [Blu-ray] for $12.99 on a lightning deal.

Glad I waited. Picked up Monsters and Up on Blu-ray at Target for $11 for both when they came out! Great Deals this holliday so far!

bought these blu-rays so far:
ice age 3
braveheart
watchmen

missed out on wolverine as i was at work and forgot all about it when i got home. hopefully they put it up again. i was on the fence about transformers 2 hoping it would drop to $10 tomorrow. i was about to skip gladiator as well, but even though the transfer has problems $10 and the chance of getting that back with the rebate is too good to pass up. just requested both braveheart and gladiator from goozex for a 100 pts each. never use it and i had those points sitting for a very long time.
