I've had that happen a few times for different reasons. Scanned, but not put on the truck. Driver just forgot to deliver it. I usually get more worried when it says delivered and there's nothing there.

 
My tracking updated. Said delivery failed and they left a notice. There is no notice on my door and no one knocked at the time they indicated. Either it is a false update or they attempted to deliver to the wrong address.

It says either file for redelivery or pick it up at the post office.

If they left a notice on the wrong door, could that person pick up my package by just handing them the notice? Or will they not give it to someone without the proper ID?

The PO should ask for photo/address ID. But, not all employees follow the rules. They know me by face at my PO, so they stopped asking me, it's kinda convenient.

 
The whole thing seems fishy. If no one answered, I'd assume they'd double check the address. I've had them falsely update tracking info before, so maybe it was a false update. I have no idea.

 
Something cryptic going on with my Gamestop order.  I got it in the mail today.  Metroid Prime Trilogy, Xenoblade, and Pokemon Y which I got for free.  But the Pokemon game had a post it on the front with "Maybe?" written on it.  Anyone know what's up with that? 

I think it might be them wondering if they're supposed to honor the B2G1, and deciding to.

probably cause many of us who ordered online are still getting our orders shipped out.

Regarding the packaging issues on the last page, I have one too. One of Amazon orders came yesterday. It was 2 Blu Rays, came in a yellow padded envelope and the envelope was OPEN! I couldnt believe it when the UPS driver handed it to me like that. Thankfully everything was sealed but that is a new low for packaging.

 
Anybody else experiencing slow shipping with Amazon? I ordered some games and that ps3 bundle on Thanksgiving (3 seperate orders in total) and since then they have all been stuck at "preparing for shipment" when I view their status. My card has been charged too. I chose super saver shipping but usually they are faster than they 5-8 days they predict.

Also I ordered an HDMI cable yesterday and it has already shipped before my other orders, lol

 
Anybody else have anything delayed at the Indianapolis UPS center? I've had a package from Walmart held up there for the past two days. The tracking info says "Due to local operation disruption, packages not unloaded from trailer, expect a one day business day delay"

I called my post office today about the tracking # saying that a notice was left, and that I hadn't received any notice or knock on the door. Lady told me they have an overabundance of packages. She said she contacted the carrier and confirmed that I would be receiving a package today from that post office.

I did... except it was a different package.

So I call back AGAIN. Asking what is going on. They told me they got in contact with the carrier that had my package yesterday and he was still on the street making deliveries. I did a google and apparently, when they can't make the delivery on time, sometimes they mark it as notice left when it really wasn't. I asked the guy on the phone if that may have been the case here and he said he didn't know. I said well, the tracking says I got a notice and I didn't, so there is also a chance he's trying to deliver it to the wrong address and another address got the notice. So if that is the case, what's to stop him from going back to that same wrong address today?

Guy on the phone told me either was a possibility, and he won't know more until later tonight and to give a call back. He said if I don't get it by 5:30, I probably am not getting it today. 30 min left....

Yes, I have a package stuck there that says the exact same thing. I think it was Newegg (saw it earlier and waiting on a bunch of packages still). Mine has only been delayed one day so far though.

 
Got same message on a UPS delivered package from monoprice.com in OKC today. Now scheduled for tomorrow.

We'll see what happens tomorrow. I don't know about Indianapolis, but in southern Indiana, we're getting a pretty bad snow/ice storm that just started a little while ago. I don't know if that will disrupt deliveries any more than they already are or not.

 
I'm at a loss as for what I need to do to get my damn package from USPS. Since it wasn't delivered on the date it was supposed to be, I've called and them keep telling me they are busy and need to look through a whole bunch of packages to see if it is there and don't have the time to do that, because they or backed up .Either that or that I should get it the next day. They told me that Thursday and I didn't get it.

I don't know if I should just go down there tomorrow first thing in the morning and demand they find my package or just keep waiting or what. Calling their 877 # doesn't do much. The only thing they can do is "Open a case" for that parcel.

Meanwhile the tracking number is in limbo. Last update was Dec 4th and says "Notice left" when I never got one.

I always deal with the PO face to face. Trying to get something done on the phone can be a lost cause.
 
I called DR and they told me they escalated my issue and I would receive an email within 2-3 business days. Doubt I ever get one. I will ask for a replacement shipment first and foremost. Then refund. If they refuse refund, I will contact my bank and have the charge reversed.

Has anyone received their COD:Ghosts from Newegg's eBay store? I got a receipt and tracking number from DHL with a delivery date of two days ago but haven't received it and the number comes up invalid on DHL's website. Not cool.

just received mine, two of the seals were intact but one was missing. I opened it up and it just felt like it was opened before, probably a return. Not sure what to do now as I really have a problem with it not being brand new even though it was listed as that. I can either contact newegg and have them send me another one, but who knows if that one will actually be new either. Or I could return it and grab the amazon bundle which is still $180.

you will get your refund, but you have to hound digital river for it. otherwise, they will "forget" about it. this frustrating process will take a few months. Hate to say i told you so, but dealing with digital river should be avoided at all cost. when things go wrong with digital river, it becomes pita.

I've had 3 UPS packages held up for a day in Houston since Black Friday shipments began and another that is delayed due to the storm in Oklahoma.  Guess they didn't hire as much seasonal help this year, the ones they hired are more inept than usual, and/or they're pissed at Amazon because they're using USPS for Sunday deliveries.  I haven't had issues in the past so something's afoot.

The funny thing is I got this too, but no notice was left so I went to the website and schedule a redelivery if anything I'll have to call them because I was home that stated time of the so called delivery attempt smh.

 
Went back again to Walmart today for more Black Friday priced DVDs.  Had to pick up my $3.98 Argo Blu-Ray/DVD/digital combo and my $9.98 The Amazing Spider-Man Blu-Ray/DVD/digital combo with the mask that I had done ship to store online, so I bought Gangster Squad on DVD for $3.98 and Gladiator on DVD for $1.98.
