If ya steal this, at least link back and give credit. That's all I ask for.
looking for a 22" monitor/hdtv for this BF. i heard there's a rumored $99 one.
Wouldn't hold my breath unless I'm expecting a knock-off brand.
I am debating getting this... but man, I just don't know if I trust a no name brand.
It's gotten some decent reviews from some people over at newegg. You could try searching around a bit for some info on the brand if you don't feel comfortable.

Yeah, well that the thing is if I search for Corion Digital Lifestyles, google just spell checks me looking for Corian.

Other then those Newegg reviews, I really don't seem to find much else.

However, I could still get that TV shipped for $580 with a 3 year warranty from SquareTrade. But that only covers if it is broken, but not if it is just a piece of shit.

EDIT: Also Corion's website doesn't have any products listed on it.

I find it hard to believe that target is only going to have 2 tv's on sale. I'm hoping for a cheaper than 500 32 inch. Anyone know how anything about dynex?

That 40" samsung lcd at Best Buy looks pretty appealing, but its not the a550, its the a500, a "watered down" model with fewer ports and such according to other discussions on slick deals. Would this be a good buy for $799, or should I look for something a little better? My budget is around $1000 and I want something at least 40" and 1080p.

Man, i can't believe this. I figured with the drop in retail sales that these stores would be giving this shit away, how disappointing.
Man, i can't believe this. I figured with the drop in retail sales that these stores would be giving this shit away, how disappointing.
No joke. I was expecting some amazing deals because of the state of the economy, plus I read somewhere that they had gotten the process down (of making the displays) to the cheapest its ever been. I'm very disappointed.
The Westinghouse 26" LCD for $299 sounds like a good deal. That'd be 720p, I assume? Is Westinghouse a good brand?
Yes. It's not a Sony, Samsung, etc. but I've owned one of their 42" LCDs for 8 months without problems

Cool, thanks.
I'm eyeballing three TV's at Circuit City, but I know nothing of them or HDTV's in general. Can anyone help?

$499 - 37" Element 720p LCD - http://bfads.net/Element-37-720p-LCD-HDTV-at-Circuit-City
$449 - 32" Toshiba 720p LCD - http://bfads.net/Toshiba-32-32AV500U-720p-LCD-HDTV-at-Circuit-City
$499 - 32" Samsung 720p LCD - http://bfads.net/Samsung-32-720p-LCD-HDTV-at-Circuit-City
I'd go with the Samsung. That line of LCD TVs (LN series) has gotten really good reviews.

The 40 inch 1080p Samsung sounds awfully tempting. Im a college student and currently running everything off of a 26 inch Samsung TOC monitor that cost me about $600, I kind of wish I could trade this in and spend only $200 more for the 40 inch! haha

If I can muster up some $800 you can guarantee I will not sleep that day and be the first in line for that TV at Best Buy.

What do you guys think of Westinghouse HDTVs? I'm also interested in the 26" one that will be on sale, but I was told by someone that Westinghouse HDTVs are in the lowest tier when it comes to brands, similar to Insignia, Dynex, RCA, etc, with crappy picture quality...

It would be my first HDTV though, so I'm sure any HDTV will look amazing in comparison to my SDTV, but I'm going to have it for awhile so maybe I'm better off spending a bit more for a better brand, I dunno...I'm a college student on a budget so I don't want to spend too much....any advice?
I need a good 50" for no more than $1000. This WILL be found
Same here, I WILL get a good 50" + lcd for less than $1000. :bouncy:

94 out of 100 of the reviews I have read about Dynex where more than good. Great picture quality. And the 6 that had bad stuff to say were 2 that had a defect out of the box, 3 that didn't like the sound and 1 that had it break after 6 months. I personally am going for the 32inch Dynex from best buy. I' just going to spend the extra money on a warranty.

Idk about LCD. I'm thinking about getting a 61" Samsung DLP for $1300. Can't beat the size for that price, and I might be able to get an even better deal on it.

I bought a 32 Inch Dynex nearly 4 months ago, and am pleased with it so far. While I didn't get it for $399.99, I was able to use a 10% off coupon I found here at CAG to buy the set for $440.99 plus tax ($489.99 was the "sale" price at the time; regularly it was $549.99).

I'm on a strict budget as is being a student and all but which one is the 'Dynex 19" Class 720P LCD HDTV' that BB has?! I checked their website and found 2 diff Dynex 19 and am not sure which one it is.

I got the 32" from a couple years ago and it looks pretty good. I also have a 56" Sony for the living room and you can see a difference, but for the price they are good TV's. But you have to go into it knowing that they wont be on the same level as a Sony or Samsung.

I'm looking for some recommendations. I'm looking for an 1080 HDTV, somewhere around 36-42 inches, prefer at least 20k DCR, PC input and I'm willing to spend 1k and slightly over. Also would prefer LCD over Plasma but thats not entirely important.

I was looking at the LG scarlet 37" for 899 at best buy but unfortunately its no longer available. Debating dropping 1,300 for the 42 inch version at buy.com

The Meijer ad has a 37" Sylvania for $499 on the Saturday after Black Friday. Anyone know anything about these. The closest store is about an hour's drive, but I'd do it if the TV is worth it.

Thanks.
Just a heads up to anyone interested, Kmart is selling an Element 26" HDTV for $299, the black friday price, right now...

http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_...levisions&psid=FROOGLE&sid=KDx20070926x00003a

Anybody have any impressions about Element TVs?
I was also checking this one as well. Although I didn't see this 'right now price'. I clicked the given link and saw it for $399 still. Anyhow, I would also like some feedback on this one as well.

In the link I posted, scroll down a little, in the middle of the page it says "On Sale for $299.99 - Discount applied in cart. Offer ends 22-Nov-2008"

Oh...guess I over read that section. Thanks.

Well I found one of the Ad scans from k-mart flyers and seems this TV is a doorbuster on Saturday for the $299 price if you were going to get in store.

Anyone know where I can find reviews for the Vizio 37" 1080p HDTV that Sears is going to have for $699.99? I couldn't find any reviews for it. Thanks.

hey i'm looking for a 26" or 32", what brands are the best? I would love a Sony, as my parents have a 46" one that's great...is there any deals for $300-500 dollars?

From personal experience i will never buy another westinghouse ever, i got a 32" last year for 500. The picture quality is ok, but the main problem is that when evenpointing directly at the tv with remote, it barely accepts input form the remote, i thought it was remote at first but then i tried it with the harmony. I have no idea were they put the infrared sensor but that takes away alot from the tv

Most of the problems I hear that people are/were having with their Westinghouse TV's can be fix with a firmware update. Which most people don't know they can do that to their TV's no matter what brand.
