Welcome to the Official CAG Blu-Ray/DVD Coupons and Rebates Thread

WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a while back. If you know someone else with an account, see if you can have them print their extra coupons if you need them.

(not available/valid for online or for in-store pick-up). Coupon indicates it's restricted to regular priced items only, however it automatically works at the register on sale/discounted items, but as always YMMV on that.

$19.99 for Iron Man: Extremis and Spider Woman: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Blu-Ray (Coupon is only good for June 17 & 18 and only valid at Best Buy!)[/CUSTOMSPOILER]
There's probably no way to user the dmr and subway coupon on the same purchase for lion king is there? I know target won't, not sure what best buy's policy is but I'm sure it will be denied for most ... maybe Wal-Mart?
Depends on what it's worth to you. If you try enough and get a manager approval....

On a hunch, I decided to type "Simba" in the DMR code input page. Sure enough, it gave me 25 pts and the message "You've earned 25 points! And don't forget to enter your Magic Code from your copy of The Lion King Diamond Edition for even more points!" and it's listed as a "The Lion King Coupon Code" on the DMR page. It's only a matter of time until they post the coupon.

This code is for recently signed up members, btw.
Apparently there will be a $5 DMR coupon for the four disc and trilogy sets for The Lion King. My source is some guy at BluRay.com that is never wrong (judging by his history).
TRU ad for next week mentions $5 coupon as well

Edit: TRU price for the combo pack is $19.99. 3D combo pack is $27.99 before coupon.

Cool, time to PM unless someone has it cheaper.
Was it really though?
I mean... I didn't expect it. I was kind of hoping for an African Cats coupon though..

Any chance for us to PM Lion King and Beauty and the Beast 3D versions at BB to Fry's $27.99 price, using the 2 manufacturer's coupons, and getting the BB $8 discount for buying both?

I'm wondering if anyone knows based on past experience with PMing at BB?

this has been discussed many times. pm and discount wont work. pm and coupon will work if you get an employee that is helpful, not against policy. discount and coupon will work, again, based on the employee, this would be easier than the pm and coupon.
No upgrade coupon this time for Lion King? I was hoping my old Lion King VHS tape might be good for $10 off toward this :p
Did you even read anything in this thread?

BUT Target DOES allow price match and then manufacturer's coupon after. They lay it out explicitly on their website.
http://sites.target.com/site/en/company/page.jsp?contentId=WCMP04-040400
Can I use coupons when price matching?

A guest can use coupons when price matching per Target's normal coupon policy. When the guests presents a coupon(s), these steps will be followed:

Manufacturer Coupons:
Manufacturer coupons will be applied after the price match is made.

Target Coupons:
Target coupons will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor's price.

Combining both a Target and Manufacturer Coupons:
The Target coupon will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor's price. Once the price match is made the manufacturer coupon will be applied.

Reminder: We accept one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon for the same item unless either coupon prohibits it.

Target does not ad match a competitors coupon-required offers.

Strangely the ad for TRU shows a $5 off price for both the BD version and the 3D BD version though the link to the coupon is the exact same one as all other B&M retailers. This is really going to be YMMV.

I already got the steelbook pre-order from BB so it would be kind of pointless for me to go elsewhere so here's hoping the coupon works on the regular BD there.

They have 100% worked on any version in the past, regardless of the fine print AFAIK. I very much doubt this will be any different.

I was gonna try and use the subway and dmr coupon. but compared to my Amazon order, I'd only be saving $2 Before sales tax. Lion king 3d btw

Or save $20 by not buying a shitty movie.

I think I'm going to pass on the 3D Lion King and just get the standard blu-ray/DVD combo for $15(?) AC. I need to hit up the TRU before the weekend...

I posted this in the Amazon Lion King thread, but I guess nobody has looked at that one lately, so I'll try my luck here.

Just got my Lion King from Amazon today and I've got a question. Is anybody elses hologram thing on the slipcover crooked? This is how mine looks, and I'm not sure how much it angers me, lol.
lionkingy.jpg

I thought maybe it would just be held on by that rubbery putty stuff, and I could peel it off and recenter it myself, but it appears to be legitimately glued. Maybe it's a dumb thing to be annoyed by, but it's a $30 3D blu ray. It shouldn't look cheap.

Mine's straight, and had it been that crooked it would have driven me crazy. Maybe it got hot and shifted or it just slipped past QC.

Thanks. Yeah, I think I'm going to return it. It just makes it look like shit to be practically hanging over the edge on the bottom right corner.

you could try heating it up with a hair drying and maybe the glue will melt a bit and then you can center it....but you might mess it up more too.....

Thanks. I thought of that too. I'll figure something out.

Good God man they jacked your lenticular plate all the hell up. Since it's from Amazon just request a replacement.
I got a DMR coupon for $8 off African Cats (not sure what the title is actually) and another Disney Nature BluRay
I got that as well, I was like really Disney? I already have all the other DisneyNature films so this isn't helping me lol. Ok for anyone else that needs and wanted to get African Cats with another one of the DN flicks.

Are Disney Nature flicks any good? Will they be engrossing to a person in their 20s?
Are Disney Nature flicks any good? Will they be engrossing to a person in their 20s?
I'm 28 and I enjoy them. Then again it helps that I enjoy history/nature.

I found Earth interesting but if you have seen the BBC Earth it's the same they reused the footage/segments and did a different narration.

Ocean was ok, not too bad the first time I watched it I few asleep but it was 0230 in the morning that day.

I enjoy Crimson Wing out of the 3 that are out the most.

And haven't watched African Cats. Again it just depends on if you like nature stuff. If you enjoy Earth and Life then you should like these.

I have yet to see a printable coupon for this, but I did receive an email from Disney earlier this week for the Amazon promo(save $8 on AC & 1 other Disneynature title).

But I did see some coupons on the African Cats title at Target and Walmart. I opened one of the coupons to see what the deal was and it states...

"save $8 wyb AC plus TLK combo pack or any other Disneynature combo pack".

edit: the coupon expires sometime in Nov.

Sorry...there is NO DMR coupon for the African Cats. I had an e-mail from them, and I just assumed it was a coupon. However, it was link to the Amazon deal.

Mine came in the same way, but I was able to remove the hologram and replace it on straight. I did let Amazon know how the 3d blu ray arrived and they issued me a $5 credit. I really didn't want to go through all the hassle of returning it and getting a replacement.

God damn it, I have been trying to print the POTC coupon for over an hour. Every time I try to print, it automatically directs me to the "Thank You for Printing" page and nothing happens. It doesn't even send it to my printer and I've tried my PC and Mac. FML
