Brand New Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle Coming With 2k. 399.99

I'm sure it's just a Best Buy thing, kinda like how they bundled Burnout Revenge at one point, NFS: MW at another point.

Ahhhh, Tennis....America's favorite sport....This will certainly move about a dozen units.
I'm sure it's just a Best Buy thing, kinda like how they bundled Burnout Revenge at one point, NFS: MW at another point.
I think the Burnout one was WalMart, though I could be wrong.

And the NFS: MW "bundle" was $419.99, so it was packed-in for $20 additional.
Possible XBOX 360 price slash down $399.99 instead $479.99. Still hope the new bundle come with .65nm chip :)
The 360 has always been $399.99. The Elite is $479.99, which isnt in this bundle.

I remember that CoD2 bundle last year waas just about everywhere...

but anyways, let the holiday bundles begin?

interesting how they refer to it as the "pro" bundle instead of "premium".

perhaps this is just a play on words for the bundled sports title... or perhaps it reflects a potential price drop and product renaming.

A lot of stores use the word pro instead of premium, probably means nothing.

true...

I'm really surprised there hasn't been a price cut . . . even a psychological one . . . drop to $350 . . .

Hell I bought a PS3 (without wanting one) because there was a price cut.

You would be correct, sir.
A lot of stores use the word pro instead of premium, probably means nothing.
yes, like Overstock.com calls the premium SKU "The Platinum".
I'm really surprised there hasn't been a price cut . . . even a psychological one . . . drop to $350 . . .
I was hoping for $349 myself around November. They could atleast bundle it with a more popular game like Forza 2, Project Gotham 4, & etc.
In Iraq at our BX,.. they had them bundled with Top Spin 2, Amped 2, and Table Tennis for $399.
It's a mystery to me that MS has not done something like this as a standard US package . . . if not a price cut, then a good software bundle. 3 games would give them a great selling point.
Fry's does this all the time. You pay about $20 extra for 2-3 crappy games. Not a good deal IMHO.
Understood, I'm saying that MS should bundle games into the package . . . pack-in 3 games permanently for the standard price--they could have a kiddie bundle with Viva and a sports bundle.

If they want to sell more systems, they need to sweeten the deal.

Come on. Apparently you're not smart enough to understand the appeal. ***sarcasm off***

Yea...I'd much rather see something like Gears of War or Crackdown in there. At least give them something fun to play!

Microsoft actually refers to that model as the "Pro" model on their own xbox.com site. Dont know when or why they stopped using the Premium moniker.
Pack ins almost always come from too much stock.
I don't know if that's true...remember the JSRF/Sega GT, or the Star Wars Clone War/Tetris World pack-in for the original Xbox?

They couldn't be extra stock since it's a special DVD with both games on it.

The mid SKU has always been called "X-Box 360". You see variations in what retailers call it because there's no such thing as a "pro", or "platinum", or anything else. There's The 360, Core, and now Elite.

And yeah, Top Spin 2 is pretty lame unless you like Tennis. All the back ins have been lame so far.

And no, this isn't a Q4 special :D

Yeah, pack-ins made by the company obviously aren't from too much stock. Though I don't know that these are from Microsoft, or just some kind of thing from Best Buy, which I supposed could be from too much stock.
