i was thinking the same thing. it'll be rarez one day i guess. right now people are paying retail prices on ebay. i guess its safe to say those who are interested in it would rather play the game for now, they'll shell out maybe $50 to $100 more than retail later..

i think hes either related to a distributor (maybe he is one) or he gets paid a shitload of money and doesn't know where to spend his money on :)

That is still alot of money to shell out for something that "might" be valuable one day, at least I knew with my Bioshock, I could instantly sell it for profit and make enough to pay for my regular copy

Glad I only paid 100 shipped for my new Legendary Edition... now if it would hurry up and get here

its not really much of a limited edition. since they made alot of it. even independent stores are able to buy these from distributors. its meant to sell out at launch but it doesn't mean they don't have any more available. microsoft's actually making money on halo 3 so im sure they'll make em as much as possible.
