I bought Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Gun x Sword 6 and 7, and jersey girl (yeah i know the movie is supposed to be terrible but i havent seen it) ^_^

While I don't watch much anime, I third or fourth (whatever) the Escaflowne recommendation.
 
So far i'm definitely getting two land of elyon books (both on sale and without coupon) and i can't decide between House 1&2 (never seen it but all my friends whose opinion i trust love it) or Battlestar 2.0/2.5 (which i've seen but will watch again) or both. both are about $40 after coupon. will i watch house more than once or should i just rent it? i also wanted frasier season 4 and up, but they are all $30 where the first 3 are $20 but i have them. lame.

You can buy the whole series over 3 dvds of of ebay for around 25ish shipped
Much cheaper and convient then the 8 disc DDD version which is the exact same in content.
One of the best anime's of all time though. If you havent seen it and like anime.. BUY IT.

Alright anime folks, I only have the first disc of Genshiken, and I see that there's a complete collection on there for not much more than an individual disc. Are there any missing special features or inserts?
 
Nope, Genshiken is complete. All the economy set means is that the three DVDs are packaged in a cheap, flimsy cardboard art box as opposed to something sturdier.

I've had my eye on the Boogiepop Thinpak DVD Collection for a long time, so I got that for $21.96. It includes the anime series and the live action movie. :)
