Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PS3) $50 and other $50 and under PS3 games at Amazon

This is the best deal on this game I've seen -- slightly better than Circuit City, since Amazon doesn't charge tax for most.

awesome game, buy it if you don't have anything important to do for a while.

before anyone says it, yes, there'll be DLC. Hopefully sooner than later.
I usually like JRPGs but I've never played a western RPG before. I hope they put up a demo of this on PSN.
I don't believe there's been a (playable) demo for any Elder Scrolls game ever. So I wouldn't count on one ever appearing as there's not even one on the 360.

Personally, I think it's the worst in the series. Though it's still an enjoyable game for the most part. Especially for those who haven't played an Elder Scrolls game before and I would recommend it if you haven't.

I agree that no demo is likely to happen.... but I disagree about your assesment of the game. Having played through every game in the series, and most of the expansions, I think Oblivion is the best in the series... the enhanced graphics make a huge difference here in sucking you into the world.

I envy people who haven't played this yet--it's one of the top ten gems of this gen thus far.

The game is more polished and opens the way for many new players. I have heard t criticized for being toned down for newbies.

I loved it, but I have not played the prvious games very much....

Sweet called up Amazon because I bought a few days back for $54.99 and they adjusted my price and credited me back the extra $5.00 onto my credit card :D.

Did the same thing, only by email. Hooray for Amazon customer service!

I signed up for Amazon Prime around Christmas time and I've never regretted it. Sure, you pay $80 up front, but you get free two-day shipping on almost everything (exceptions being larger items, like big-screen TVs).

On top of that, their customer service rules, you don't get charged tax on your purchases, and if you need to return something you can do so for free.

I heart Amazon, and check their site every day to find deals.

why I hate amazonm of course now when I actually get around to buying the game its 59.75. Was that a pre-order deal? They did the same thing w/ casino royale, preordred it and they dropped it 1 dollar 2 days after it came out. Granted only a dollar and not 10 bucks ..but still!

I think Amazon does research when a game comes out to see which of the retail stores has it the cheapest price and matches that.

When Oblivion came out, Circuit City sold it for $49.99 (cheapest price in big boy retail stores), so Amazon matched that. I think same thing happened with GRAW2 came out - Amazon sold it for $49.99 for one week and raised it back up to $60 the week after.
Ya got mine awhile back.
i'll have to call amazon tomorrow, according to the website, they haven't even shipped it yet. I did order it with some other stuff, but they usually send individual packages if the other stuff is on hold

I'm under the impression it's also supposed to have by far the best A.I. too.

amazon still hasn't even shipped it yet, they expect to ship it april 10th. not really that big a deal since i have a bunch of games in my queue anyway. but it's just the principle of it. amazon has been giving me slow ass shipping recentely. a game i ordered awhile ago took two weeks to get to me
