If that's a reference to what I'm sure it is, great job.
I don't know why that popped in my head but it did. And yes, it's exactly what you think it is. :)

In for both... I have to stop this. I'm gonna go crazy if this really does become a nightly thing. Thanks, Cheapy.
Never bought from Gamefly before, I have questions.

Are games in their original case + covers?

And I'm sure they clean them, but does anybody have problems with bad discs when buying from
gamefly?
Yeah, all games come complete with original case and manual in almost flawless condition. Sometimes they even include the DLC and slipcovers too. From my experience, I've never received a non-functional disc from them although occasionally you'll notice some very slight signs of use.
Being a CAG is like being part of a cult, it's messed up. So far in the last 3 days I've ordered two games, one that used to be on my radar but I said "eh I don't need it" and the other that I didn't even care about and knew even less about it.

Yet here I am buying Fist of the North Star and Bulletstorm. I save a ton being a CAG, but I buy more because I'm a CAG, such a double-edged sword.
It's so bad how true this statement is. I was unable to get Fist of the North Star yesterday because it sold out, but I attempted to, although I didn't care about it at all! $10 is just so hard to pass up on games that remotely spark any interest.

Yeah, the games come with their original cases and covers, and most of the time those are mint. Discs are generally good, but occasionally you'll get one that looks like someone tried to clean it with coarse grit sandpaper.

Really want Castlevania, but just like others here there's simply too much of a backlog.

thanks alot man, in for castlevania and spider-man
Blindly bought Spiderman. I've def spent more on less before.
I bought this game like a year ago for $30 and it's awesome. I'd probably been happier paying $20, but for $10, man, you really can't go wrong. It's a great game.

Exactly my usual predicament :)

I'd be in for Bulletstorm if the ps3 version was that price. Hopefully they'll have something I want at least once this week.

Thanks to CheapyD for the heads up! I've been waiting for a great price on Castlevania and Spiderman since renting each of them. Looking forward to the other deals offered this week!

Got spiderman, as soon as I clicked the confirm button I realized it was using my old old ship to address. I am not sure why GF keeps my old address I've changed it twice now and I have to manual set it to the new address. I just emailed, hopefully they can fix it before it ships.

God, I've got to stop buying games, but 10 dollars for Spidey and Bulletstorm seems way too good to pass up :(

EDIT: Meh, while I'd love to take these offers up. I've already beaten SD and I probably won't get to Bulletstorm for while, seeing as I just got Gears 3, Duke Nukem and Fist of the North Star.

Hopefully I'll be able to find both of these for a similar price down the line, as I'd like to play SD again. Anyway, love GameFly's prices and standards.

Got Bulletstorm for $40 on an Amazon sale. Horrible mistake, traded it away to a friend. for $10 you can't go wrong.

However, been waiting for Castlevania forever after playing it at my brother's place. In for one!

Excellent! Been wanting to play the Spider-man game for a good while now. Perfect price to try it =)

Bulletstorm is worth $10, as much as I hate to give any ground to that garish game. Expect a great buildup, an acceptable climax, and then a really utterly lousy ending that would have been better had it just happened five minutes earlier and forgot the rest of the game from there.

And some sliding fun. The game is all sliding, whipping, and repetitive but still pleasant apart from a few overlong segments.

Spiderman Shattered Dimensions is QUITE good. It's rough around the edges but I can't fathom any definition of $10 that it isn't worth.

It's worth a bigger $10 than Bulletstorm is worth. I'll put it like that.

been waiting for Castlevania too that game wouldnt drop, bought spiderman for 20 from blockbuster about a month or two ago, did beat it very good game for 9.99.

Picked up :ps3: Lords of Shadow. As a 2D Castlevania fan I'm skeptical of it, but this is finally low enough for me to feel good about checking it out. Thanks!

Case and booklets/codes are practically brand spankin' new. The discs are the only things that go to the renters' homes. I've used Gamefly for a year, and the only issue I've had with a disc was actually my last rental, which was Bulletstorm. Had a disc read error. Wiped it off and it was good to go again. They were a lot of superficial scratches. It was the worst I've seen from the service by far.

Well I was not planning on spending more cash this year but I got all three (Spiderman, Castlevania and Bulletstorm) for $34.65 shipped. At those prices I had to do it. I will just some video game math and used my amazon credit to buy something I would normally spend cash on...oh I love being a CAG with my justifications.

Amazon warehouse wanted $61 for the same 3 games.

I'm getting pretty worried about what AMZ Black Friday deals we'll be looking at. Have like $150 in credit stashed away but I have a feel I'll be digging into my wallet.

Fairly sure Captain America, Duke Nukem and Red Faction: Armageddon will be under $20-$25 easy but for I know there will be surprises and my willpower is running low.

So I just read through most of the posts on the thread and I came away with this:

"I have too many games to play already but dam these are some cheap prices. fuck it I am going to spend myself into the poor house anyway"\\:D/

Tried to get Castlevania and Spider-Man, but for some reason GameFly is saying "Cannot complete checkout at this time." Anyone know how to fix this? I already sent a customer support email, but want to jump on this sale while I still can.

Its strange because I've actually ordered a few times in the past, so I'm not sure what the issue would be.

Bought MVC3 from the last sale now Bulletstorm and Spiderman. Do yourself a favor and hurry up & buy Castlevania. It was a great game (despite the ending) and a steal at that price

Dang it, really need to stop browsing this site!
Just picked up a copy of Bulletstorm for 360 even though I am sitting here doing homework and haven't touched Gears 3 yet. Figured it basically will never get cheaper than $10 and even if it did it would only be a few bucks.

Anyone know what to expect as far as deals for the rest of the week?
Just wondering because they are really putting a dent in my funds.
Within the last week I have got:

Star Wars: TFU2 -PS3
Test Drive -PS3
Transformers -PS3
Medal of Honor -360
Dead Space 2 -360
and just ordered Castlevania -360

These deals are just too good!

Truth.

^This $10 for any of these games is almost automatic. If games like Dark Sector and Dark Void still have $5-7 price tags it would be hard to get these games for cheaper. Even $13 for Castlevania is cheap with how slowly the value dropped. Yeah MAYBE you get the cheaper but I doubt you find a copy at half this price in the next year.

Also I think you will get the code for Bulletstorm for a few extras they want you to pay $10 for used so that is a bonus.

I was literally 1 click away from purchasing Castlevania. It wasnt until a video review said its "like God of War" that I decided against it. I have God of War games themselves in my backloggery to finish! Maybe some day...

Picked up Spidey for 360. It's been on my list of games to try when they hit $10. Thanks!

I enjoyed this game a lot more than GoW, personally. The story was more subdued, subtle and somber. Where GoW is "in your face" all the time. I had the same trepidation about the game myself, but I'd say do not let that stop you! :)

I tell myself this often but I really do not think I will be an early adopter of the next gen system (I hope this is the case) because my backlog has grown to the point where I would rather buy another 360 or PS3 to finish everything I have before taking on a new system. I am sure I will see some cool particle effects on BF4 and say screw it and cave...but at least today i say this.

I don't typically buy used, but I had a good experience with Gamefly and the Duke Nukem I got from them last week, so I grabbed Spiderman.

You guys are hilarious. I'm on the same boat, no money yet I keep buying games that I'm not even playing.

And Gamefly is the best with used games, presentation wise. Once in a while, you will get a rotten disk but aside from one or two (out of at least 20) being chipped, I've never had any problems.

Bought Bulletstorm. Thinking of getting Spider Man as well.

Edit: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/review-spider-man-shattered/704408 made me change my mind about Spider-Man. Some cool graphics but nothing interesting, gameplay-wise.

Got Castlevania. Everything else I already got. Eager to try it despite it feeling more like God of War from the demo then a Castlevania game (eitherway not complaining).

The last time Castlevania was on sale a few weeks ago my order never came. GF gave me a refund. Glad to see it return at a lower price so I placed another order. Thanks Cheapy...
