Just looking for trade-in prices? Well, check out what's been reported:
GameRush Trade-In Prices Wiki
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

50% Off Sale

Edit: It looks as though more games are being added to the 50% off list on 3/25/07. Here's what jaybsooner is reporting:
Hey guys, just a head's up. Went to my local Gamerush today (03/24/07), noticed they had put a ton of the NEW games they had for sale on a side counter. The manager told me they were being added to the 50% off sale. These were new additions to the previous sale. He let me look at the list he had for his store of the pulled games. PS2, XBOX, PSP, Gamecube, and 360 were on the list, the majority of the list (about half) was original XBOX, with about 20% PS2, rest a mix of 360, Gamecube, and PSP.

Can't recite the list verbatim, but you may want to check with your local game rush, I believe the actual list may vary from store to store, based what they have in inventory.

If you want, post what titles you are interested in and I will do my best to recall if it was included on the list, but I would suggest going to you local Gamerush and scout it out today!!
The prices will be listed on the price drop reports as 1 cent drops making the game prices end in .98. The 50% will be automatically deducted when the employee hits the Total button. It's very unlikely that there is any signage or changes in prices actually displayed at the stores yet.

Okay, details are still rolling in and we don't have a full list yet, but we're getting there.

FAQ (Read before you ask a question.)

Q: Are used games included?
A: No, this is only for new games.

Q: Is this sale going on at normal Blockbusters?
A: Yes, as long as it is not a franchise Blockbuster. Most Blockbusters are not franchise locations. Call your local store and ask if they are a corporate or a franchise store if you are unsure or check a past receipt to see if it says "Blockbuster Franchisee".

Q: The games are scanning at full price, is this sale for real?
A: You won't get the discount until the employee hits "Total" on the register.

Q: Do Blockbuster gift cards work at Gamerush?
A: Yes.

Q: Is this going on nationwide?
A: Yes, but see details on franchise locations above.

Q: My blockbuster employees say they don't know anything about the sale, is this sale real or happening in my area?
A: It's a good thing that they don't know and see above franchise locations information.

Q: If I ask something that is clearly laid out here in the OP, will shipwreck make fun of me?
A: Probably.

(All prices are after the 50% off discount.)
As far as I was told, it is on new games only, and is 50% off the marked price. The list was also laying on the back counter and I perused it. The list of games are for the PS2, GameCube, Xbox, PSP, and Xbox360. There are no DS games.

I wrote down the Xbox360 games since I thought those would be the most interesting. There were not many PSP games and the ones on the list were not very exciting. So without further ado, the Entire Xbox360 50% Off GameRush Listing:

System Watch:

Some GameRushes have PS3's on their incoming shipping reports as arriving on Tuesday, December 5th. One of the local stores that actually received Wii's will receive 1 (One) PS3 ($600 Version) tomorrow. No firm reports on when the next shipment of Wii's will arrive.

Random News:

In a really strange turn of events, GameRush actually pulled a lot of PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube games from Previously Played status and put them back up on the wall to rent. There are still plenty of used games for sale, but I thought this was an interesting move on Blockbuster's part.

Random Tip
FIFA 2007 for the Xbox 360 is currently listed at $40 new ($60 everywhere else). If you pre-order it and pay for it in full now, you should be able to pick it up when it releases and save yourself $20.
I know that there are only select PS3/Wii/XB360 games that are included in the 50% off, but has anyone found games for older consoles like GCN/PS2/XBX that weren't included?

So far I'm under the impression that all old games are included, especially the ones mentioned here, besides a few that may not be such as Grandia III at some locations. Thanks ahead.
No, there are quite a few GC, PS2 and Xbox games that aren't included in this sale. If it was everything, well, that would have saved us all a lot of time putting together that list. :)
Does anyone happen to remember how long it took for the 50% games to drop to 75% during the last clearance?
The answer is somewhere in this thread: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96306&highlight=gamerush

I'll see if I can't find it.

Yeah, Ship covered it. But so did I a while back when I said the new game section was decimated by this sale - as in 1/10th of the older games, maybe, were part of it ;). There's still tons of stuff at regular price.

No need - I'll just look at my GR trade/purchase history spreadsheet since I bought tons of stuff the very first day of both 50% and 75% last year...

OK, 50% started on March 14th and 75% started on June 26th - so there was a 3 month gap. I have a feeling there will be a lot less available for 75% off this time since they did a much better job marking things (it seems from reports here at most GR, anyway) at 50%. Last time I don't think they pulled many things from the shelves until 75% hit (and still not even then at some stores). So despite the fact that things may be selling a bit slowly right now, there's still some time to go.

I'm just incredibly lucky that they started the 50% off a few weeks earlier this year. If they had started it on March 14th again, that would have been 3 days after my store is suppposed to ship off all it's game stock. It would have killed me to be sitting on $100's in credit and watch this sale go on (sure, I could have traded for a few things but I wouldn't have been able to use it to liquidate my credit to buy a 360 at a "real" store soon).

Thanks for the info, io. I know of at least one Gamerush that, at least so far, has no indication that there is any kind of sale going on, and most of the good titles like the 360 stuff and GC Twilight Princess remain locked up in the case behind the counter. And who knows what else is just sitting there in the drawers in these places. I remember last time the 75% hit, a bunch of new games appeared on the shelves that I hadn't seen there before, so I think there's a good chance of finding at least some nice deals when the 75% drop happens

Yeah, yeah, rub it in...

The two games I would have hoped for at 75% are Madden 07 and NCAA Football 07 for the 360. My store had 5-6 copies of Madden and I think I'm the only one who bought one (I sold it to liquidate that credit). I would have picked one up for myself at 75% off. Actually, I would have bought WAY less at 50% of my store wasn't closing. I will just end up breaking even on most of the sales just to get rid of the credit, plus I got several things I wanted but would have waiting on 75% for otherwise. There still might be a few things I ask other CAG's to get at 75% off. I'll save a bit of credit for that I suppose.

I need to make one last trip in there this week. See if they got R&C PSP and maybe pick up 1 or 2 more clearance games. So sad...

added 7 more games to my Xbox colleciton even though i dont think 2 will even play on my 360 who knows maybe by the time i get to them in 5 years theyll work. I mainly bought them jsut due to the price and the are all 8.5+ rated games except for RS Lockdown and Critical Hour and im not even sure they play on my 360 i dont think that they do. for the prices its a steal though.

4.99 Mortal Kombat: Deception
7.49 Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
9.99 Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
4.99 Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3
4.99 Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Critical Hour
4.99 Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown
3.49 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

According to Xbox.com BC list; POP: The Two Thrones, RS: Critical Hour and RS: Lockdown aren't BC compatible with the Xbox 360 yet.
Whoops, I double checked and RS: Lockdown is BC compatible!

I checked two local Blockbusters. They barely carry any games at all. No GameRushes in my area.

I was looking for:
Tales of the Abyss
Tales of Symphonia

If anyone comes across these two and wouldn't mind picking those up as part of the sale, I am willing to pay cost + shipping.

Send me a PM.

Thanks

Picked up a couple of games tonight for my brother in law for his B-day if you want to add the prices to the list.

Here are some possible adds. They were on clearance tables, but I didnt buy them to verify.

GBA

Mario vs Donkey Kong -- $13.50
Top Gun
Spyro Season of Ice - $7.50 (they also had Flame NOT on the clearance table, so I dunno)
Spyro Attack of Rhynocs - $7.50 (why is there 0 copies of this on ebay?)

PS2

Need For Speed Most Wanted Black Edition - $30
GTA Double Pack - $10

EDIT: Also NHL 2K7 for Xbox 360 - $10. Was skeptical of this for some reason

Picked up Family Guy (PS2) for $15 and Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged (360) for $15 at the Game Rush in Shawnee, OK. I guess I should get a 360 now. Also saw:

Ratchet Deadlocked - $10
Destroy All Humans 2 - $20
Loco Roco - $15 (I think)

There were 0 Game Cube games on clearance and only 1 GBA game (Texas Hold 'Em Poker). Lots of copies of Madden '07 for the 360.

Could anyone pick up Mario Party 4 for me?

Well, a few interesting things to note today...

1) Went in to GR this evening. Many clearance games still there including 5 copies of Madden 07 for 360. I bought Star Wars Battlefront for Xbox even though I have the PS2 version. The graphics are probably a bit better on Xbox and it will play on the 360. I was going to buy Hulk as well, but held off to save some credit (see below).

2) They were going to save up a bunch of Wii and 360 cases for me but instead saved up a bunch of PS3 cases (WTF?). So I have a huge stack of PS3 cases now .

3) They are handing out fliers for the store closing. They stop renting the 11th and close for good the 18th. The word now is they MAY actually have a store closing clearance that includes gaming items - probably accessories, maybe games. I wanted to save my last bit of credit just in case. There are a couple of 360 games and there WERE a couple of PS2 games (see below ;)) I'd buy at any kind of discount if that is the case. They think the nearest GR store is too far to make it worthwhile shipping the stuff off, so they may, in fact sell it. However, they have no idea and all of that comes from above. I looked around a bit - except for what I relate in #4 below, there haven't been many changes. The 360 controllers are all gone (d'oh!). But otherwise - they still have their entire rack of game guides (3 times bigger than the GC/DS/GBA sections combined). Now THOSE are really not worth shipping off, so it will be interesting to see what they do with those. Lots of good stuff in there (Oblivion, FF XII, etc).

4) One of the sliding plexiglass door game cases above the game racks where they keep the new release games locked up looked broken to me and all the games were gone - just a bunch of empty cases left that they kept behind the games. So I had assumed that was the beginning of their store-to-store transfer. However, they told me it got broken into and all the PS3 and high-priced PS2 games were stolen in broad daylight during store hours.. The bastards... there went Suikoden V, Bully, Valkyrie Profile 2, and a few other things I had my eye on. If they really do discount all new games I'll be pretty pissed about that. At least this happened AFTER they pulled games for the clearance sale so things like GH II and Tales of the Abyss were not in there any more.

This case is directly viewable from the cash registers. However, there was a certain employee working (h2dk, you know who I mean) who would probably be oblivious to someone stealing money from the register right in front of him, so it's no surprise. The manager was there as well, but busy elsewhere in the store. Besides the PS2 games I was waiting for, the entire PS3 stock got taken - probably 10-20 of them. I guess they went for the high value stuff, though it would seem easier to have stolen the games sitting out (all the rest of them, basically) then have to break into the case. They still had to walk out with all of them and set off the alarm (I'm sure the games had those sticky security things on them even though they weren't cased).

The 360 and Wii cases were unharmed, though, so there's still some stuff I can get if there is a really good sale. Plus there's 100's of non-clearance games still on the regular racks.

If the sale is phenomenal, I'll post what I can here and take requests. It will have to be cash (PayPal) as that is what I'll probably end up spending - no time to generate more credit and don't need GR credit in return ;). But in all likelihood, there will be no sale, or it will be pathetic (a few accessories at 25% off or something). Though they are up against a firm limit - closing for good the 18th, so if they want to get serious about it they have to offer some good discounts up front. Based on how slowly the 50% clearance stuff is (very slowly) selling if they REALLY want to get rid of it, they may have to do 75%. Man, would that be sweet...

Those PS3 cases could be handy in the future when PS3 trade-in becomes as common as PS2. You can swap broken cases out from used games :)

It's unbelievable that the plexiglass security box got broken into. I wonder what other PS2 worthy games were left now in that GR. May not even wroth a trip there.

That's what I figured (on the PS3 cases) so that's why I took them anyway. They were going to trash them otherwise. They have a TON of Xbox cases there - basically the back of each locked case is filled with them. They did manage to dig me out a few 360 cases, which are more useful to me in the short term. Who knows when I'll ever trade a PS3 game in now that GR is going to be gone .

As for worthy PS2 games - well, basically, anything selling for over $30 got stolen, so I'd say no... There's plenty of GH stuff and other $20 and below games. I'm not even sure there's that much above $20 left either (though some of those may have been in the regular racks).

Edit - Remembering some of the missing PS2 games now - besides Bully, Suik V, VP 2, there was Okami, Lego Star Wars II, probably Madden. And that's probably only about 1/4 of them. Really, I have no idea how these guys (assuming it was more than one, but they don't know) managed not only to break the case but carry SO MANY games out - probably 15 PS3 games and 20 PS2 games. We're talking $1500 or so in stock. Ouch...

Heck those PS3 cases would come in handy now. Per a thread on SD there is a guy selling PS3 games on ebay for $25 - $30 disc only. He says something about them being legit leftover discs from the factory near him and the people that have bought them say they look and play like the real thing. Those cases would come in handy if you were to nab a deal like that. I've kept an eye on it but have been skeptical so I haven't bit yet (that and I'm sort of particular about my games. I want them in good shape with box and instructions).

EDIT: He's raised his prices to $47 on some of the newer releases. That's crap for something that's disc only.
And may be bootleg!
People that have bought from this guy say the discs are authentic. The seller states something about them being "left over" disc from the factory. If that's the case I'm sure he'd be in big trouble if Sony found out he was profiting from their leftovers... If he threw a copy of Madden up there I'd take a shot for $25 to check it out.
According to Xbox.com BC list; POP: The Two Thrones, RS: Critical Hour and RS: Lockdown aren't BC compatible with the Xbox 360 yet.
Whoops, I double checked and RS: Lockdown is BC compatible!
hmm i would think that POP two thrones out of them all would be BC.

stopped at a couple Blockbusters and was able to snag quite a few games

360
Just Cause
Ninety-Nine Nights
Star Wars Lego II
XBLA Unplugged
Tiger Woods 2007
Viewtiful Joe GC
Tetris Worlds GBA

both of them had at least 5 copies of Madden and NCAA football...was hoping to find Dead Rising, but only had it used :(

By the way, I stopped into another regular Blockbuster store that I KNOW had several new games for sale not too long ago. They no longer have a trace of any new games and the employees there don't think they've sold them in a long time (well, they were there last October I know for sure). So it seems there is a command from on high out here that they are no longer to sell any new games at regular stores. I have one more store to check that had a ton of them last Fall. If they don't have any more then I'm sure something is up. Why they would pull those games I have no idea. They really should offer MORE games - at least of the better-selling GH/PH/PC variety. There were people asking to buy controllers in my local BB the other day but they didn't have any PS2 or Xbox ones (note that they do have 360 and PS3 controllers). I think people would be likely to buy $20 games as impulse buys at a local BB, especially when compared to the cost of renting (and I see plenty of people shell out cash for rentals - it seems most people don't use the passes or Coke Rewards coupons).

I actually perused the game section at my Blockbuster a couple days ago when I picked up my Sonic and SSX rentals... they still have the "NEW - BUY IT!" signs in each section, but I'll be damned if I could find a new game in there.
3) They are handing out fliers for the store closing. They stop renting the 11th and close for good the 18th.
And corporate will have fun trying to get people to return the movies and games people rent at teh last minute and then forget to return.

I hate when people take what isn't theirs.

Edit: Oops, I forgot to ask. io, by any chance does your GR have any first party GameCube memory cards? I'm looking for another 500 or 1000 (I forget the exact numbers), and I'll papal you if your store does a good sale on accessories.

If anyone has these games, I'd be willing to buy or trade for them. PM me if you're interested.

WANT:
Lego Star Wars II $25
Marvel Ultimate Alliance $30
N3: Ninety Nine Nights $15

HAVE:
$$$
Enchanted Arms w/ 48-page Graphic Novel

CAN GET:
King Kong
Ridge Racer 6

Would anyone be kind enough to help me out? Pick up and sell me Call of Cthulhu sealed for 12 shipped. I would be grateful since I dont have a gamerush near me.

Wow, what a great sale. I stopped at two Gamerushes and snagged quite a few games:

DK King of Swing (GBA) $10
EA Replay (PSP) $10
OutRun 2006 (PSP) $10
Star Wars Lethal Alliance (PSP) $20
Dungeon Siege (PSP) $20
X-Men Legends II (PS2) $10
Tales of the Abyss (PS2) $18
MGS 3: Subsistence (PS2) $15
Fable Lost Chapters (XBX) $10
KUF: The Crusaders (XBX) $10
Shattered Union (XBX) $20
Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (XBX) $7.50
XBL Arcade Unplugged (360) $15
NCAA Football 07 (360) $20
Just Cause (360) $25
Lego Star Wars II (360) $25
History Channel Civil War (360) $25
Over G Fighters (360) $30

I couldn't find Hitman for the 360. If anyone can grab one, I will find whatever you need in trade or offer cash. The one store had lots of 360 games left, especiall Enchanted Arms and Ninety Nine Nights.

I am tempted to get Guitar Hero II, but I don't know if I should just shell out the extra $ and pick up the box set instead.

Also, has anyone tried Sonic Rivals for the PSP? That is another one I passed up on.

They say the last day to return is March 22nd - so I guess they are still collecting the rentals at the store till then. They are transferring all account to my local little BB, actually, which is a strange choice for 95% of the people that normally rent at the GR location (they wouldn't want to venture way off the freeway to get where I am). Actually, it seems pretty dumb to me (the whole store closing) as that BB/GR is the only BB within 10 miles in a fairly well-populated area. Anyways...

No luck on the GC memory cards, Gwen. They haven't had ANY Gamecube accessories for nearly 6 months at this store. They really have next to no accessories - some 360 memory cards and remotes, but not much else. Maybe some DS styluses and things like that (that I'm not sure I'd even buy at 50% off in GR credit).
They say the last day to return is March 22nd - so I guess they are still collecting the rentals at the store till then.
*nods* I still wouldn't be surprized if a good number of games/dvds aren't returned voluntarily. I don't mean to be so cynical.

But a friend of mine was an area manager for HV when this area was planning to add GameRushes. People would not return items then when that customer would go to rent something else and the manager would tell them of the account balance they had (ie, what they owed for the missing and/or late items), all the customers would have to do is raise a stink, call customer service and dare them to say they (the customer) was lying about not returning product. Every time, CS would erase the the amount owed.

That's wrong on so many counts. First ethically, it rewards customers for being dishonest. Second it completely undermines the staff and management of a store. Their job is to keep accounts up to date and collect what is owed. When corporate rewards these crummy customers, they return to the stores with an even worse arrogance and hostility towards the poor kids working the counter, just trying to do what they're paid to do.

which is a strange choice for 95% of the people that normally rent at the GR location (they wouldn't want to venture way off the freeway to get where I am).
Lemme tell you, I've driven from Portland to Bend and around each area. If your store is in an area as hard to navigate as either of those, I don't blame 'em. I've driven though much of this country and only in Oregon did I want to take a swipe at their civil engineers.

That doesn't suprize me. My local GRs got zilch in this department too. Worth a shot though.

Maybe some DS styluses and things like that (that I'm not sure I'd even buy at 50% off in GR credit).
$5 for three DS styluses? SCORE!!!

Well, that's exactly it - while there are some BB's close distance-wise (but still 8-10 miles) there are none that were as easy to get to as the Wilsonville store. It is right off the freeway (I-5). It would have made more sense for them to transfer the accounts to Lake Oswego (which is also not too far off the freeway), but then nothing they've ever done has made any sense.

What is going to happen is all those customers are going to go to Hollywood Video instead. Those things infest this area much like the common Starbucks. Too bad all the GC's combined were not as nice for deals as my one humble GR .

It really sucks, the BB/GR was losing money by the bucket-load, yet the dirty, small, not well-stocked Hollywood/Gamecrazy just across the freeway continues happily along. It is all about LOCATION though - the other side of the freeway is MUCH more heavily travelled. In fact, when I first heard about GR and it's wonderful trade-in prices I took a stack of games to what I thought was Gamerush. Turned out it was Gamecrazy and at the time I didn't realize they were two different places (since they are less than a mile apart). The trade-in prices were so horrendous compared to what I was seeing on the GR thread that I figured you people were all nuts and I didn't go back again until I finally figured it out 3 or 4 months later . I had no idea there were any retail establishments at all on the other side of the freeway, so I guess that was a big part of their problem. It's too bad they couldn't just move, though, or at least transfer the GR part to another store with more traffic.

GRAW2 didn't arrive yesterday. I picked it up at Circuit City instead and got it price adjusted to $35 using Fry's add.

[sarcsamNice to see they still haven't figured out how to have stuff on release dates[/sarcasm]. I guess them having Crackdown on release day was a fluke.

The reason they had Crackdown on release date is because the game was sent out almost a week early and street-dated. All stores had Crackdown well before its release date.

It sounds like it. No the best planning by regional, that's for sure.

That's extremely true and maybe more than you realize. We all know BB has been hemoraging (sp?) profits for a while now, and most is owing to property leases. Hollywood owns every single real-estate they occupy. So while there are far fewer of HVs compared with BBs, their profit/losses show up way more black than red. While the opposite seems to be true sadly, of blockbuster.

And because they have to make the initial investment of buying each location before setting up shop, they tend to do more realistic research into what makes for a profitable location.

I'm not doubting you in regard to HV doing a better job on market research than BB. But I really don't think thay own all of the locations they're at. My local Hollywood is located on the first floor of a multi-use high rise building. I doubt that they own the whole building and I also doubt that the building owners sold that specific spot to Hollywood Video.

Yeah, I'd have to question that as well. About 25% of the Hollywood Videos around here are in strip malls which I'd doubt that they own (but maybe they do).

There's also a lot of stand alone Blockbusters around here which (if it were any other company other than BB) I would assume Blockbuster owns.

Stopped by 2 GRs after lunch today. Didn't get all the stuff I was looking for but did manage to grab the following:

PS2:
Xenosaga 3: 14.99
Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando: 7.46

Cube:
Viewtiful Joe: 4.99
Sonic Adventure 2 Batlle: 10.12 (original price scanned in at 20.25?)

I also picked up a used Iridion II for GBA for 6.99. It runs about 15 - 20 loose everywhere else around here.

All in all not a bad grab for just over $48 total.

Well, I can say that the lease was a big reason my GR is closing down - apparently it was very expensive. But damn, it was a NICE, big, clean store. What a shame. Who's going to be even more upset than me is owner of the small pizza place next door to it. These two are in a standalone building in the parking lot of a grocery store. Nearby is a Walgreens. That's it. The pizza place depended on movie renters for most of their business. I know I won't go there nearly as much now.

 at Iridion II. Not that it isn't a good buy at that price. But that was one of my earliest trade-in fodder games. I think my store still has 2 copies of it. That, and a few Galleons and Druagas... (much of the other stuff I traded in seems to have been sold over the last year though).

In reference to the post below, yeah, my GR and local BB still have "used" copies of the Special Edition tins. I wonder where those came from?
Trade Quote:

Mark Ecko has officially bottomed out at $1.25. It was a nice run Mark.
So what you're saying is... *brace yourself for bad pun* he won't be getting up? *runs*

SI

That's funny...all the Gamerush stores around here are in their own buildings, which I assume they own. Most of the Hollywood video locations here seem to be in strip malls, which I know they don't own. Of course, Hollywood Video stores have been going out of business in this city left and right for the last few years. There aren't many left.

Went to the Best Buy on 38th street in Indianapolis with the ad and tried to price match but Fry's was oos so I am having a friend pick up a rain check for me. We only have one Fry's and it is on the other end of town and work was calling.

I bought a zelda Wind waker sealed at Gamerush for 9.99, then i returned it at the same game rush a few days later..even with the receipt..they gave me the FULL 19.99 back for it X-) i bought a Sealed Minish Cap (not on sale) with the credit..
Yeah, I'd have to question that as well. Still, I contacted HECs Investor Relation guru to double check. It's possible the policy has changed, or my buddy was mis-informed originally.

Macedonia, OH has officially frosted my balls. Went there, and noticed they had an absolute TON of Metroid Primes. Figured Id pick up a couple to pair with the Metroid 2's I got from target to get rid of them quicker. I get up tio the counter with 2 of them and a few other games:

Mike: Sorry, cant buy doubles
Me: What?
Mike: You can't buy duplicates
Me: When did this start?
Mike: It's always been like that
Me: No it hasn't. Last clearance you sold me quite a few MK Deception CEs
Mike: Must have been someone else
Me: Can you show me anywhere in writing where it says this?
Mike: Nope
Me: Can you tell me why the other 2 stores in the area know nothing about this?
Mike: Nope
Me: Do you know that there are TWENTY ONE OTHER COPIES OF THIS GAME OVER THERE? (No, that wasn't an exaggeration).
Mike: It's not about quantity
Me: Then what might it be about?
Mike: It's to prevent RESELLERS *cough* FROM BUYING ALL OF THEM *cough*
Me: How many resellers buy 2 of of 23 copies of something?

Anyways, pissed me off because its 45 minutes away from me. Its not worth another trip just to get another $5 game.
I bought a zelda Wind waker sealed at Gamerush for 9.99, then i returned it at the same game rush a few days later..even with the receipt..they gave me the FULL 19.99 back for it X-) i bought a Sealed Minish Cap (not on sale) with the credit..
That is the dirty little secret of these "coupon" style discounts. Why they don't just make the games cheaper in the system I have no idea.

I traded another One Piece Pirate's Carnival PS2 at my local store today. It still gets $9.50. I ordered a few more online for $4 with shipping (only saves $1 off the coupon discount in store, but hey, that adds up to another cheap game somewhere ;)).

I'm building up a little bit of credit in case they do have some sort of store closing clearance next week. However, there are a few things I'd like to buy out of the normal sale stuff before they take it away, especially if they don't have any additional sale next week. Since they never know what they are doing day-to-day and will just yank everything without warning when they get the word from corporate, I'm not sure how to handle it.

Me: How many resellers buy 2 of of 23 copies of something?

You have the Customer Care number? I'd call them to ask about this policy.

the thing is it wasn't a coupon..was it? and the Wind Waker was Sealed..i bought i tnew, i showed her the receipt, i told her i paid 10.00 for it, the receipt says i paid 10.00. I made it a big point to tell her i got it on clearance, and i returned it new sealed and she still gave me the complete 19.99 back for it.....
