- Trade any 2 games, get any preorder for $29.99. I forgot to check if XBox 360 games are included in the deal, but as most people have already stated, I highly doubt it.

- The two games that are traded in for the deal must retail for at least $7.99 each (preowned price).

- The credit can still be applied towards the $29.99.

Preorder Lists (Dates are subject to change and when those changes happen up date us in the thread and I will try my best to update here in OP so people won't have to read through the thread to find them)- Credit to io for supplying these lists.

Game Pass

Rent unlimited games for a month. You can have one game (or 2 depending on the pass) out at a time and can return it whenever you want and switch it out as many times as you want.

$21.99 for 1 Game

http://www.gamerush.com/rules_gamepass.php click this link to find out about gamepass at Gamerush.

You must have a credit card/check card to signup. Checkcard must be visa, mc, amex, dc, or diners club. You can also do it by getting a prepaid visa, mc, dc or amex card with at least $1 on it so it will clear the authorization and just pay for it each month (very tedious though). You can cancel at any time. Good on any rental game (gamecube, psp, nds, gba, xbox, ps2).

GAMERUSH WEBSITE

This should have alot of stuff so please just search around the website before asking questions. Website updates happen but most deals are in effect way before they are updated on gamerush.com so check in the thread for the newest deals.
The ps2 version is $10 as well. Just not marked properly, much like the copies of the XBOX version i bought yesterday at the local TRU
Yeah I know this now but it is cool though because I just bought some games that I will probably use to pre-order some stuff from Gamerush anyway or use toward the new deal when they switch the $29.99 deal to include new games again.

Like I said earlier I should have them scan it but I didn't I should have too because they had a lot of copies of Xenosaga II and Cold Fear for PS2.

I forgot to list yesterdays haul...

DTR Xbox $27
DTR Xbox $27
Space Channel 5 PS2 $2.50
DDR Extreme $19
DDR PS2 dance pad $?
Xbox Controller $6

Pre-ordered DDR Mario Mix and Mario Kart

2nd GR
DTR XBOX $27
Lady Sia GBA $2

bought Castlevania DS and a cherry Coke :) He didnt know that NEW games were 29.99 as well, but i didnt feel like arguing. I mean, i spent $20 out of my own money, traded in a few items that were just sitting there, and got 3 games and $15 in credit.

Have we ever figured out for sure if trade values change on Monday or Tuesday? Hoping Dead to Rights still gets its proper value. I'm giving up the $3 for trading at Blockbuster rather than GR, but I'll survive. Hopefully when the DM bans me along with the rest of you, he will understand that I was just trying to get enough credit to buy a DS (which will be safely stored on my value card ;)).

I suppose I could mix in some PS2 versions and maybe an Iridion or Xenosaga just to make it less obvious while taking a bit less of a return.

Give me an hour or so and I'll call them... just waiting until noon so I know the UPS guy has probably shown up there to see if they got X-Men Legends 2 yet.
No, you can use any game that is for PS2, Xbox, or GC. I bought the last copy the had of DTR2 on Xbox at a local TRU and if they had more than one they would let me get it too. I also got Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Viewtiful Joe for PS2 all were $9.99.

The funniest thing is though is that the PS2 version of DTR2 is also Green Tagged at the same TRU at $49.99 so it is still $25. They had about 15 copies of the PS2 version. Damn I should of had them scan it to see what the price really was.

This would be the TRU near Eastern Michigan University.
Yeah you have to ask them to scan it. I went to that TRU and only picked up one copy of D2R2 for Xbox. I am going to wait until Wednesday to buy more (from another TRU) to see if Gamerush is going to drop the trade in value tomorrow.

Just to let you know, your value isnt really safe either becuase they have unique barcodes and id's on each specific Blockbuster value card or GameRush. And on some cases when a customer has been abusing the trades and the history shows that the value is always loaded onto the card that card can get banned. It depends on which letter they send you, either it be the you cant trade anymore letter or the you cant shop anymore letter. But just like with all my other posts i'll give you a loophole around this. If you think it might be a chance you could get banned and you use your value card to store your credit you that value card to buy Gift Cards. Get the Generic old blockbuster gift cards that only let you put the predetermined amount on them because the corporate systems as well as the store systems aren't set up to read the unique id number on those like it is with the value cards.

That is a good call. I'm gonna hope they don't start banning people for trading a hundred bucks or so of merchandise, but who knows.
Sweet. Now to figure out what stores to go to...
I can go back to my home store since there is a different guy working there... hopefully my TRU isn't sold out of D2R2 yet.

Does anyone's GR gotten in X-Men Legends 2 yet? The UPS shipment still hasn't shown up, if it's not there I might just get something else.

How much will Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble (GC) and GUN retail for? And does VJ come with a Pre-order Bonus? I asked the guy about a bonus over the phone, but he didn't know. Thanks.
io: Today I had a situation where they just automatically just applied credit to my account instead of my card. Since it was an older card I was using that couldn't be loaded this way, they were able to credit the entire card value to my account. Then they transferred all of it back to newer gift card. Just in case you are still dealing with the gimpy gift card, there's another option for you.
Yep - I did that a few days ago. I'm going to try out the new card when I go to a regular BB to trade in D2R2 today. Hopefully they won't hose that one up too :D.

Well it is good news that D2R 2 still get's 27. I couldn't wait for Roufuss to get back and post so I went to TRU and got 3 of those games. I love it when the CSR thinks it'll be a certain price and it rings up at the CAG price I'm expecting thanks to this forum. The games were still tagged at $49.99.
Anyway, went to a different GR than my usual one on the way home and traded, all Xbox, 2 Dead to Rights 2 and a Forza Motorsport. The guy gave me the 25% bonus! So, $33.75 for D2R2 and $15 for Forza. Righteous!!!

Man, what is it with the 25% bonus? I'm jealous!

Anyway, I know what you mean about the TRU price tags. It is especially sweet when you hand them a D2R2 (marked $49.99), a Xeno II (marked $39.99), and an Alien Homind ($19.99) and the total comes out to $20. :D

Speaking of which, anyone have an updated Xeno II price?

I know everyones hyped up about Dead to Rights II, but I just traded in a few games to my local BBV, here's the breakdown:

Dead to Rights II - 24
Nightmare of Druaga - 19
Galleon - 19

All GTed at 19.99, so the total at TRU was 21 bucks, and I came out with 67 bucks in credit. So all is not lost if you cant find a D2R2.

Prices were still the same when I traded in my games this afternoon.

Xbox
L.A. Rush $27
Dead to Rights 2 - $27

PS2
Xenosaga 2 - $12.50
Dead to Rights 2 - $19

Also found a complete Atelier Iris that looked brand new, and got that for $30 after the 25% off discount.

Alien Hominid is actually $19.95 (like D2R2 and Xeno before GT), as are many other regularly priced games. I don't get why TRU has some games at $19.95 and some at $19.99, but it makes preplanning B2G1 purchases rather difficult and creates a lot of confusion.

I too am interested in the answer to question about what happens to preorders if you get banned.

I preordered Zelda today. I honestly couldnt think of ONE more game to preorder that comes out for the current generation systems. They told me its due in on 11/18/05

Looks like that with that new deal, Ill get Batallion Wars, and MAYBE The Warriors

Seems the banned topic is starting a rumor mill. To date everyone who has been banned from GR/BB has just been told they can no longer trade anymore games in. Basically the trading account has been deactivated. In the past people who received the letter have mentioned it even said feel free to purchase/rent from BB.

Now that being said I try not to keep tons of credit lying around at any giving time and really it seems pointless to preorder games months in advance. I rather order 2 copies of a hot game coming out next week then have a preordered on the books for over 4-5 weeks. You can always do something with a extra copy of a game. Hell trade it back for $35 credit the first week at BB. You only had $30 credit in it to start with...

This is what I did, I went to 3 different Gamerush Stores and traded each copy of Dead to Rights 2 for 27.00 along with one game from my library. I told them to put it on a gift card at each of these stores. Is this a good idea? I have 3 gift cards that vary in value. Would they be suspecious if on November 22nd I go into the store and use the 3 gift cards along with cash to buy my XBOX 360? Thanks.

Also, it was fun opening 3 brand new copies of D2R2 in my car and knowing they would be traded in minutes. I folded and bunched up the instruction book to make it not too obvious.

Well, now, that is interesting, because I was quoted the following at a regular BB today (Mon):

Xbox D2R2: $24 (seems this is the first time there has been a GR/regular BB difference)
Xbox Tron 2.0: $13.50
PS2 Xenosaga II: $6

Yes, that's right, $6. And I had just bought about 4 of them at TRU (there were about a dozen) - thought I was gonna be stuck with 'em (though I'm sure I could find *something* to do with them). It seemed a bit strange it only came up for that though - with things like MAT1 and Trivial Pursuit getting more. They scanned the actual game too, so this wasn't a mistaken computer lookup (say for Xeno I).

I'm going to trade one in anyway at GR, even if it is $6, since I had a used copy for myself and will replace it with one of the new ones. So I'll see what GR gives for that after Tuesday.

On another note, saw Mario DDR at Fred Meyer, of all places, today... It is in a pretty big (and yellow) box - like the DK bongo sets. Not sure if they were selling it but it was locked in their game case with the rest of the accessory games. Wonder if GR will have it tomorrow. Doesn't matter to me as it is going away for a Christmas present for my daughter - I just don't want them to sell my copy since I'm sure they won't get any more in.

Hmm... I'm hoping the PS2 D2R2 gets $19 at Blockbuster (as opposed to Gamerush) cause that's all I have to trade in from TRU. But if not, I'll just have to wait till I go pick up Mario Mix. Hopefully they won't mind that I've traded in 3 XB copies and 1 PS2 copy. Then I just need another $3 credit to get so I can buy up $100 worth of gift cards (do they sell $100 gift cards, or will I need to buy a few $25 cards?) Of course at that rate, I should probably just pay the extra $3 out of pocket so I don't have any extra credit sitting around on my account.

And hopefully all these banning rumors are just from us being paranoid. I think only one person has been suspended temporarily, and that was by a manager, not the DM. Seemed in the past it was people dealing in the thousands of dollars.

Hopefully someone will find out the value today. I am making a run out to an area that has two TRU so maybe I will be lucky and find a few more D2R2.
If your GR bans you from trading and kills your credit or GR credit card, what happens to your current preorders?
You should be able to still pick up your preorders , if they didnt allow you that it seems like that it would be to risky of being sued. In majority of cases they will just ban your trade account. For you to not be able to do business there at all you gonna have to be costing the company thousands of dollars, which i dont think any of us CAG'ers have already.

Some Gamerush trade in prices from monday:

NGC- Mario Baseball - 27

XBX- D2R2 - 27
XBX- Breakdown - 2.50
XBX- XIII - 1.25

NDS- Pac Pix - 10
NDS- Feel the Magic - 5.50

You are correct my friend about DTR2 I traded this in at my local BB yesterday because I wasn't going to be able to get to GR so I got $24 bucks for it.

Hey I made fourteen dollars profit on it so I can't be too upset since I could have got 3 bucks more at GR but hey I would have wasted more than 3 bucks of gas to get there.
Ouch - $10 for Pac Pix? Surely you could have got more for it on here ;-)
It's cool, I bought it during the KB sale they had where it was 20 bucks so it's not too big a loss. It's just that I didn't much care for it so I put it towards a preorder for Soul Calibur 3.

anyone here know if GR network their database? I want to trade to multiple GR location and wonder if they can pull out all of my trade list from other location? any risk in doing this??? thanks

Guys...if you have multiple GR's around, instead of using one account, make new accounts at every store. It makes it a bit harder for them to track you're trade-ins.

Also, if you have a Game Crazy store by you, they will pricematch trade-ins with a recipt...so if you have too many D2R2's, trade some in there.

Is that possible to have multiple account since they asked for my driver license? GR near me is in BB. I am lucky enough to have Game Crazy around however I want to get preorder game at $29.99

Monday I traded in:
2 x Power Drome Xbox at $12 each
2 x Yager Xbox at $6 each
1 x D2R II Xbox at $27
1 x D2R II PS2 at $19
Total $82 credit

Pre-order Starwar Battlefront Xbox & PS2 + Castlevania COD = $90 + tax

Maybe that is why we are getting different trade in prices on D2R2... the PS2 version only gets 19.00 - it looks like the XBOX version is bringing 27.00.

Is the XBOX version also 9.99 at TRU?

ahh so they hit you with that one, its an old rule that is not widely practiced, i would just try your luck at another location, or prepay your account with your value card then come in when that person isnt working and buy the gift cards by using the credit you put on your account via the value card

I tried this way before too and they wouldn't let me. I guess that I live in an area that the BB and GR like to stick to the rules very closely.

I have tried this at several stores but it is cool because I limit how much I have on one Value Card anyway. I learned that lesson from when I actually had about $300 in credit at GR/BB on one card. The second time I had that much credit I just had it spread over several different value cards.

I can't see my Blockbuster employees stopping me from using the value card, but who knows. At least if I have to try your method it's not that far to drive. Think I'll just pick up a copy of D2R2 for PS2 to trade whenever GR gets my DDR Mario in, and pay another $3 to get a $100 gift card. Problem solved.

Anyone gotten BF2:MC yet? As usual i've not received the phone call and I'm not gonna bother checking at the store because i'll be mad if I have the game and cant play on Livesince it's still down.

Xbox live came back online this morning before 8am.

I traded Monday:
D2R2 (XBOX/PS2) & Tron...prices posted already, so I won't repost. Pre-ordered King Kong for XBOX (which I will switch for 360 eventually)

Does anyone know what THE WARRIORS trades in for? I finished the game yesterday.

No change in D2R2 then? I love it.

Nevermind, you said Monday. Bah. Has anyone traded it today?
