Does anyone have any reccomendations for good online campaign CO-OP PS3 games from this list? My friend and I have been lookin for some games to play together...from what I recall from the list we've already played resident evil nd borderlands....thanks in advance!
 
Went in to browse the games today - an employee was in the process of setting up a display for the B1G1.  The signage says the promo runs from today through August 18. 

I had Rage and Homefront in my hands, but couldn't commit to buying 2 mediocre games for $10 when I am trying to clear out my current gen backlog, free "Games with Gold" on XBL, and Bioshock Infinite DLC likely being announced tomorrow...

I haven't played it, but from what I've heard Dead Island is a lot like Borderlands with zombies. LittleBigPlanet and Mass Effect 3 are both a lot of fun co-op and I can definitely recommend them ^_^

 
I am not sure they are going to have big signs up, but my store had (most) of the games in a bin in the front of the store. The guy working said he was going to make a sign when he had a chance.

I may have to go back to get Resistance 1, may just skip it and go to part 2 though.

All in all, not a bad sale. Some decent titles for a bit of nothing. Too bad Aliens wasn't $20 or I would have bought that and R&C All 4 One.

 
Ya sure it's a one day sale? I was going to order some stuff online but it says it expires on the 18th.

Picked up ME2 & 3 on ps3 for $19 something. Not the greatest deal, but I wanted to replay them on playstation. Best price around anyways.

Despite what you may think, singularity was a gem of a game. I think in the Gameinformer review they said it was what Bioshock 2 should've been. Love that game!
 
I decided not to get madden 11 because the reviews basically said it was garbage and the best one is 12 because of the customization it allows. I then contemplated on using my $10 code toward madden 13 to bring it down to $5. But their franchise mode isn't up to par with madden 12. I couldn't find a game I wanted to match up with the pricepoint of $10 so i ended up jumping on it for $5 on amazon. I even looked at craigslist and people are still asking for $15 for the game in my area. -

 
Picked up Warhammer and Deus Ex (both on PS3) for $14.30.  Looks like Warhammer was a Redbox rental (had the ring sticker on the disc), and Deus had some weird alternate cover (no UPC or game information anywhere on it). They only had (maybe) one of some of the sale titles in the display. The rest were still on the wall, with no indication that they were part of the sale. Most of the good titles in the sale, I already own.

 
I picked up

Mass Effect ($17.99 minus 20% minus 10% = $12.95) and Deus Ex free

Infamous ($9.99 minus 10% = $8.99) and Resident Evil 5 free

Resistance ($2.99 minus 10% = $2.69) and Madden 10 free

At first, I was pissed that my Infamous copy had a generic black ps3 case with the GS artwork, but when I got home...I found the Infamous Collection disc inside! Basically, I just got three games there for $9.

We've had people clearly say that it does. So either the employee is just telling you no, or you're buying games that are the same price, in which case it won't do anything. You'll have to purchase a game that is at least 25% more than the lowest price game

This. I had a manager tell me the 20% b-day coupon didn't stack with the deal, which I already knew was BS. Waited for her to step out and had someone else check me out. They scanned the coupon and it worked just fine. I personally didn't try the 25% (didn't have a code I knew worked), but I imagine you're just being told no.

All for ~$42. Seemed like a steal to me. Wanted to pick up Stranglehold but couldn't find anything else worthwhile to buy that I didn't already have. Can anyone vouch for how good it is? Don't know if I should try again and look harder or not...

Had to go to three stores but managed to get complete copies of Rhythm Heaven (~$5.50 after PUR and BDay coupon), Infamous and Enslaved. Disc only of Brutal Legend but that was the best I found. The BDay coupon works fine long as the games are different prices and the more expensive one is still more expensive after the coupon.

well if I pick up any others within the next alotted time I will try and get the %25 off

*my store had limited copies of these titles, some none at all, I grabbed the few available and I went 2 hours after they opened

well, bought fable 3 a few weeks ago; at first, wished i could see if gamestop would do a return/rebuy for me so i could get in on this, but i'm not really into any of the other games on the list (have the ones on there i would have any interest in) ... oh well.  still a good deal for others.

 
So does the birthday coupon really not work at all if the more expensive game is less after the coupon is added or are people just saying that it's not worth it because I was planning to use it on Mass Effect 3($18) and pay the $15 for Modern Warfare 3?

 
Got a pretty decent haul, first time I've shopped at Gamestop all year. Getting an Xbox One so I figured I'd load up on PS3 games. God of War 3, Uncharted 3, Resistance 1 & 2, Madden 11, and Bad Company 2 (Xbox 360) all for $24. I'm very satisfied!

What I found about those, is sometimes the game is in a case behind the counter in the drawers. I have hesitated several times, but the ones on the shelf are just for show...SOMETIMES.

Just doesnt work if the prices are too close I think. Which is why I got a 24.99 and a 14.99 game.

Simple math. Deduct the value that the coupon would take from the higher priced title and if it's greater than the lower price you have a winner. If it's the BDay coupon multiply it by .8 if it's the other one by .75.

These are almost entirely older titles that haven't been selling and pilling up in stores so this is just one of those things to move some stagnent inventory.

 
Okay, I was factoring in the PUR discount which would have made the $19.99 game $12.99 after discounts. Was under the impression that if they came out even it wouldn't work. Could have lived without the snarky "simple math" comment thrown in there, but thanks :roll:

Sorry, that wasn't entirely about you but the repetition of questions that can be answered by reading back two pages or doing basic math is pretty bad. Again not about anyone personally. Even with the PUR discount and 25% a $20 game would still be $13.50 so that's a non-issue and both games receive the PUR discount automatically.

You just got Infamous 1 there. Infamous 2 is on disc 2 in Infamous Collection, and Festival of Blood is a voucher code.

It's like a run and gun arcadey version of Max Payne. It's fun but gets kind of repetitive towards the end as it throws wave after wave of enemies at you. The base price is so cheap already I wouldn't go out of my way to get it immediately, you'd probably waste more gas money than the money you would save on the B1G1.
