I know you *can* get it... but JSP doesn't care enough about other regions to have secondary PSN accounts for demos/betas/etc. :)

Out of the rest of the games, I'd probably put Dead Nation as the worst, but it's by no means a bad game.
Not to mention you missed some of the best loot in the game and couldn't get the special dragon armor from Wade...
I got two armors from him, I forgot what they were but I didn't like them and even though I didn't get them I was unstoppable halfway through Origins and all the way through Awakenings. I just used the Blood Dragon Armor and in my Awakenings playthrough I used the Sentinel armor.
Ha, that was exactly my line of thought as to why it is called that. I didn't think it was true.
It might not be, but I'm going to believe it is until I see something else tying it to the first game.
True, that game was super boring. I guess LBP at least had Stephen Fry, which puts it ahead of QFB.
Baaaaarely. The only things I liked about LBP was Stephen Fry, the music, and the costumes. I actually enjoyed QFB somewhat.
What do you guys think of Shadows of the Damned? I think it looks pretty damn promising.
I'm pretty stoked for it.

I always used robes since I was a Mage (and not a sword-wielding one), so even if I had gotten armor, I'd have had to give it to Allistair.

Yeah, barely. I thought both were mediocre. As for the other freebies, I liked Wipeout and Infamous, and the other 2 I haven't played, so those are the two I got for free now.

Masochist.

And Jimbo, Shadows of the Damned could be wicked good. At least I hope it is.
I was a Mage that had a staff up until the end of the game when I made the change to a sword. What specializations did you end up picking? I forgot all that I did, but Battlemage was my favorite.

You know me, Frosty ;)

I agree about SotD, I want it sooo bad.

It was so long ago that I really can't remember for sure. I think I did Healer and Arcane Warrior. I know I definitely tried out using the Arcane Warrior sword skills for a short time, but I ended up going back to a staff. In Awakenings my third one was Keeper (I think that's what it was called).

Played some Infamous after it finished downloading. I'm not too far from the end with about five missions left, so I'm hoping to finish it over the weekend. The second game will definitely be a huge improvement in the visuals, hopefully with a much better and consistent framerate. I also like the improvements to different parts of the controls (automatic bolts, grenades don't require a ton of energy, etc.) that the demo showed off.

I was thinking about being a Keeper but in the end I gave that to someone in my party and just kept to being a supertank. I really hope an Awakenings type of expansion comes out for DA2, I think Awakenings was one of my favorite things about DAO.

Dude, some lady was just in my backyard screaming about something and when I went to my door to see what was up she just cackled and ran off into the night. What the fuck?

Goddamn it. BFBC2 keeps crashing when I try and drive tanks around in the Vietnam expansion. I'm trying to practice for Battlefield 3.

There's also a chance that my PS3 was just too hot because I've been wrestling with the store all day/night. Still, it's odd that twice I was rolling around in the tanks and twice it crashed.

My brother played the DNF demo and told me it was a pile of crap and he said he was surprised anyone ever liked shooters in the "old days" since they were all crappy like DNF. I can't believe kids these days.

Preach on, brother. Oooooh yeeeaaaah.

Was the addition of the welcome back package the sole update for the PSN store in the US this week?
Dammit, EU has Outland already -- if their 20% PSN+ discount carries, I'd buy that...
And they already have their awesome PSN+ update for May/June (whichever it was: Burnout Paradise, M:TG, etc.)

Huh, apparently there was an update. It was just too busy huffing dong to be noticeable.

Well, they do need an advantage somewhere. EU gets everything last when it comes to video games.

I think energy automagically recharging was a demo only thing.

I can't believe you guys are hating on infamous, lbp, and Latch it and Skank

I'm still waiting for CoD Kinect

Also Mortal Kinectbat

wait why is this?

I forgot that I had a euro account. So apparently I am getting qfb and wipeout fury in addition to dead nation and super stardust hd.

They always get better full games and content. Hell, EU PSN+ members got LBP to keep for their promo when PSN+ was just starting. All of the Fallout 3 content was free, Burnout Paradise is free, and to top it all off... THEY GOT SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2006 WITH TROPHIES FOR FREE!

What would I have to do to get Sonic 06 with trophies????

I didn't say anything about energy recharging and I don't remember it recharging either, as I had to recharge a number of times during the demo.

I got to play it last night and its better than I expected it to be. I have to admit that. Only negative thing I can say is the graphics is out dated, but that isn't that big of a deal to me. I didn't like the old fps games either. I like the way they are today.

I got LBP and Wipeout HD yesterday. Neither game is that great, but free is free...

I got Infamous and LBP off the EU store this morning. I'm surprised LBP is so small. I thought it was bigger. Oh well. They'll be on my HDD if I ever want to play them again.

I need to play Streets of Rage 2 and Sonic 2 before they expire though.

Just admit that you can't handle Wipeout HD.
Wipeout HD has to be one of the most annoying games I've ever played. Fact.
I agree with this. I hate Wipeout HD.

-------
Beat DA2. Going back to get what will be my canon ending now.
Templar ending was all just pure horseshit. I fuckin' hate Orsino and that Templar bitch Meredith.

I can definitely recommend Modnation, it's a pretty fun game on the PSP. There are some great mods that people have made for downloading, too.
For PSP I got Killzone Liberation and Pursuit Force.
Probably what I'm going to get.

Kinda tempted to do Modnation and Pursuit Force though.

I forgot to get the PSP games for my European account, GRAWRGH!!!

On PSP I got Killzone and Modnation Racers. I can't even fit Killzone on my Memory Stick :(

I got Wipeout HD and Dead Nation for PS3.

And, Mod Nation Racers and LBP for PSP.

So far I think I'm going to like Dead Nation, and Wipeout HD seems alright (didn't really spend much time playing it yet). Haven't played either PSP game yet though (since I probably don't have a memory stick that can hold them).

Uraizen also gifted me DiRT today on Steam, so I played it, haha. Seems alright for a racing game I guess, although I'm way more into the arcade style street racing types of games (I like it when I can press a button and go turbo speed). DiRT feels too realistic for my taste.
Killzone Liberation is awesome. It isn't easy either.

The hate with Wipeout HD is strong within GGT.
They're all just jealous of its greatness
I didn't say anything about energy recharging and I don't remember it recharging either, as I had to recharge a number of times during the demo.
It definitely recharged fairly quickly during the demo. I spammed my shock grenades and most of Cole's energy recharged in under 30 seconds. That was the only time I ever ran out of energy during the demo as well.

Ugh, Time Crisis: Razing Storm story mode is borderline broken. Glad to FINALLY be done with it; the longest 4 levels of my life.

Infamous 2 demo isn't so great - mostly because they have you doing not so great missions and a boss fight that you pretty much can't lose.

New Cole doing his old Cole impression sways between Beetlejuice and Wolverine (Marvel Pinball Wolverine)

So what do I do now in Persona 3 Portable?
I'm in January after not killing Ryoji; i defeated all the things in Tartarus, got to the point that I can't go any farther there, an I still have like 18 days left until Nyx shows up. So what should I be doing until then? I've just been fighting the previous bosses in that room with all the doors for the past couple days.

The endings aren't that different at all.
The endings aren't that different at all.
Yeah, I went back and did the other ending and didn't like it either. I still stuck with the
Mage side's ending though, because I feel for the Mage side of things. I feel kind of dumb for feeling this way, but I'm kind of ashamed of Anders. By the end of Awakenings I thought I made an impression on him enough that he wouldn't take an innocent's life, I felt like I'd made an impression on him with my really merciful Champion, too.... It made me so mad that he destroyed the Chantry.

And oh yeah,
I hope that even though he's a DLC companion that Sebastian brings Starkhaven's army in the third game to attack the Champion. I would love to fuck his shit up.
I swear most of the demo had infinite energy. I almost never seemed to run out.
I had to recharge a few times during the escort mission and boss fight.

Finished Infamous. Good ending that wasn't as obvious as other stuff with a similar twist. Does anything carry over into a second playthrough?

Wipeout HD wasn't a hard game to beat.
