How does that extension tie in with the alleged 50% trade-in bonus deal that's allegedly coming? Perhaps it means there is no 50% trade-in bonus deal coming....

I'm looking at those scans right now to see if there is any weird fine print, but it's not uncommon for them to do one some one off promos that basically make their current promos kind of worthless. I trust sa2vador so I highly doubt the information is incorrect.

Cheapy normally does consolidate the weekly ads come Sunday/Monday and it becomes Sunday Ad threads with his picks. I think this thread has been put up to be stickied by a number of users but it doesn't happen. I actually agree with the no sticky though. Most of the time the information in here can easily be found in the TIV Tracker for the most part. Honestly though all of these thread types, including the B&M clearance threads, tend to stay on the first & second page so it's really not necessary in my mind.

I've heard from several reliable sources it is coming.
 
Yeah I definitely figure it's coming, it's whether they drop a lot of the values before then is the question.

GH Van Halen is a surprisingly good flip. $9.99 on both PS3 and 360 at BBV, $7 base at GS, $10.50 with 40%+10%. Maybe not "killer," but it's a 2x.

I had two stores try and charge me refurb fees last night, the 1st store I threw a hissy fit and walked out (after asking for DM's name), the 2nd store tried the same thing so I asked for the manager who I know, and we compromised on 1 game not being trade worthy. What really pissed me off was at the 1st store the game they tried to charge me for, the "scratches" were nothing more than standard buff scratches, nothing of substance at all. I'm guessing the DM in that district is pushing refurb fees. It's complete BS. I'm going to complain on the tellgamestop site.

I think you made me a shopping list. $30+tax into $54 is not bad at all. :)

Glad to help, but be advised that DA:O was 14.99, not 9.99 at BBV. I paired it with SC:Conviction, which I kept. I had another 9.99 game I kept as well.

Does GS return policy change for the holidays? I think I remember one year if you purchased a used game, you had until january to return it since it was a "gift." Was I just imagining that?

i need to start doing some flipping...i need to bring up my credit for the 3DS next march...I think i'm going to wait until Sunday when the 50% trade in bonus goes into effect and then I will flip some games...hopefully they don't lower the prices...

I dont know about used games, but new games purchased from now to the end of the year can be returned in January. Says on the receipt.

LOL. No, not quite. A copy of GH:VH, which is almost as bad! I just wanted to get a couple achievements I missed the first time I played it before I traded it back again. In the embarrasing game department, though, I will admit I got a copy of Hannah Montanta from the last BBV B1G1. Played it, then mailed it off to a buddy of mine who also wanted the easy achievements. So yes, I'll admit, Hi, my name is DJP519, and I am an achievement whore!

Well, in that case, I believe they treat it as an accessory, so best case would be a 10% Powerup/EDGE increase to the base.
