How Long Does It Take To Beat This Game Thread - Now a wikii!

Speaking of Enslaved- Pigsy's Perfect 10 DLC takes about 3 1/2 hours.

The platforming parts of enslaved are dumbed down even more, and the combat is all cover-based rifle and mine/grenade fighting.

I know some games keep track of game time, but for others do you have to sit there with a top watch or is there any other way to find out? Asking particularly for 360 and DS?...And maybe PSP...lol

Just wanted to start by saying I love this thread. I have tried to streamline this idea in a site if anybody wants to take a look. Anyone can contribute and there is no login required (if I start getting alot of junk i'll have to add a verification process). Thanks.

Super Smash Bros: Melee for GC took me about 15 hours or so to complete (I got every character, stage, and cleared every event. I also have some of the trophies, but almost 1/2 or so. I unlocked Mewtwo by doing 750 or 1000, forgot, VS. Matches instead of the 20 hours of play, which was easier. Just turn it to a 1 life stock battle with 2 players and run off of the screen when the battle starts).

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

34 hours. All characters complete, final chapter complete, and first secret boss beat out of two.

(I know we already had a 40-something time but wanted to give another one)

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but not here: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood took me 20 hours.

That included all of the lairs, the 2 PS3 exclusive maps, a TON of side missions, the campaign DLC, unlocking the Raiden costume, and some time grinding my assassin's while i folded laundry.

I've still got a lot of Cort/Thief/Merc missions left.

Last Window: The Secret of Cape West ( :ds: ) took me 13 hours to complete.

There are no sidequests or anything to speak of, so that should be pretty consistent.

On that note: I imported it from Europe and loved it... wish NOA would've stepped up on releasing this one here.

Red Dead Redemption - Time Counter says 15:17, but I reckon it's more like 20 hours. This is for a fairly rushed playthrough, very rarely tackling a sidequest. I could see the game being about 30-40 hours if I tried to do everything.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Time Counter says about 33 hours. This is to complete about 98% of the game. I estimate rushing through the game will take only 10-15 hours.

Donkey Kong Country Returns - 18 hours (if you go for all KONG letters/puzzle pieces)

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - 15 hours (all of the Campaign, all Borgia Towers, all but 1 Romulus Lair, max brotherhood)

What's your sync level? I hit about 76% so i could get that last mission.

Dragonball z - attack of the saiyans: 25 hours doing no sidequest.

There's only 3 sidequest anyway collecting the dragonballs for the secret boss, turning in carrots for rewards and capturing all the monsters.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World (PSN)

With 4 players, took well under 90 minutes. Might be frustrating/longer with any less than 3 players.

Was looking through my saves and found these:

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm - 25 hours for 100% . No trophies on this game.

Godfather 2 - 16 hours for platinum.

It's that short?

I beat Puzzle Quest 2, but don't have the time. I want to estimate that it was about 60 hours, but I was also fighting everything instead of just the required fights, and was probably maxed out for like 30% of the game.

Ending spoiler:
Worst ending ever. Haven't seen an ending this bad since Quake.
Basically a couple sentences saying you defeated the Daemon on the first screen. The next screen says it's not going to stay dead forever. After that, you're magically back at the gates to the town. Not even ending credits.

Epic Dungeon, 2.5 hours (2 hours 29 minutes for me), assuming you don't die. Not bad for a $1 game.

:360: Crackdown 2 took me 8 hours to complete the story with all Nodes activated and all Tactical Locations completed. I also picked up about 200 or so agility orbs in that time.

:wii: Flingsmash took me 4 hours to complete. Could probably be done faster, but I had a hard time with the last boss. I dislike it when games think they need an exponentially harder last boss with multiple forms at the end of a game.

Just finished Dead Space 2 in 9 hours 58 minutes on normal mode. So ~10 hours. I did a lot of exploring around and necromorph stomping, so I'm guessing 8 - 10 hours should be the norm.

According to my raptr page, it took me 5 hours to beat James Bond 007: Blood Stone (315/1000). I"m sure it'll take someone quicker if they decide to rush through this a bit more.

999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors - 8 hours for (first playthrough - reading everything), 30 hours (all 6 endings - fast forwarding through stuff I had already seen).

PS3:

Mass Effect 2 - roughly 40 hours if you do every side, loyalty, distress, and scan mission (along with the main mission). This has been out for PC and x360. Can be finished in 20 hours.

Yakuza 3 - 20 hours if you just run through the main story line. It can take up to 60 hours if you take your time and play through the side, hitman, mini-games, escorts, and searching for locker keys. Run through the game at your own pace, there is multiple New game+ modes after beating the game.

WET on hard mode I can't find a counter but it is more like 10. I know this is an old game, but i'm digging in my backlog right now and thought this would be a quick playthrough. I usually play games on Hard or else I find them too easy. Even on the 'normal' difficulty I can't really see this being under 5 hours unless this is really easy on normal.

I guess this will be my little compilation post, with some detailed repeats.

:360: Splinter Cell: Conviction
Solo story (Realistic): ~8 hours
Co-op story (Realistic): ~6 hours

:360: Transformers: War for Cybertron
Full story (I-X, Easy), including all story-related achievements, destroying symbols along the way, playing the last checkpoints on Hard: ~12 hours
Escalation (wave 15, solo): ~3 hours (less than half that with a full team)
Ranking from 0-100 in solid boosting (no XP events, no DLC maps): ~32 hours

Yes, I played MP for fun for a while :p. This is an estimate based on ~8 hours with one class.

And Yet It Moves (PC) - 2 hours
Machinarium (PC) - 4 hours
Super Meat Boy (PC, WiiWare, XBLA) - 9 hours (to get to the credits)
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (PS3, 360, and Wii) - 3.5 hours
Pokemon Black - Exactly 32 hours for main story
I played white and it only took me 20 hours. I tend to rush through games though.

PS2 - Ratchet Deadlocked (~7 hours, 2 star difficulty, beat story mode and all bonus missions, challenge mode (NG+) unlocked). Time's probably a little lower since I farmed for bolts a bit.

Fun and underrated game, by the way, highly recommended. Very minimal platforming and story compared to the other Rathet and Clank games but it's actiony, blow crap up, fun.

What do you mean by that? I'm probably going to play the game soon.

Well BOOM!

I rush through them, too and my time for Pokemon White main story was 12 hours and 55 minutes.

Haha. So according to this thread, the time to beat Pokemon White/Black is 13-32 hours. That's pretty precise.

Also- just finished Okamiden (ds). Final results screen said 18:15:42.
