Just got an e-mail saying that Hyperdimension Neptunia is available for pre-order from the NISA online store. It's $59.99 with free shipping (you have to choose USPS/other from the scroll down menu). You also get an artbook and a set of playing cards with the game. The artbook is included with all copies but the playing cards are exclusive to NISA.

EDIT:
Pre-order is out, but here's the new link to the game. Which does NOT include the cards.

Here is a trailer for the game:

I'm not sure why I bought this game, was never really interested in it (lol, fml). Well I got to preorder this with Barnes and Noble using groupon method; so far nothing seems out of place (will update if anything changes).

What I did...
Gift Card from Groupon #1: used my VISA on account #1 with email #1
Gift Card from Groupon #2: used my Discover Card on account #2 with email #2
Gift Card from Groupon #3: used another person's VISA on account #3 with email #3

Applied all codes to my Online Order of Hyperdimension Neptunia SE; total came out to be $68.xx (apparently the game could not be processed for free shipping). With the GC applied I still had to pay $8.xx so I used my PayPal account (assuming this will stop them from charging me extra).

So I paid out of pocket $38.xx saving me $26.xx (but missing out on playing cards).

Status: Unable to process order. Please call 1-877-379-0036, or 212-414-6024, if outside U.S.

**edit** Well I just got that unable to process order, can't really do anything at this point. Hopefully I haven't been charged.
Not disagreeing about fraud or whatever, but if thats true, then why doesn't amazon have to charge me tax to sell me the same thing I can buy at walmart WITH tax?
Because amazon doesnt have a business in your state and walmart does. If a online business has some sort of physical presence in a state then the residents of said state are charged tax when they buy from them online, doesnt matter if its shipped from that state or not.

Amazon charges me tax because about 15 minutes from my house at 2 really 2 huge amazon shipping center warehouses. Walmart charges me tax online because there is a walmart in my state. NIS doesnt charge me tax because they dont have a setup in my state.

I"m really on the edge about this game I couldn't get into cross edge but love trinity Uni so hrmm I have 50 Dollar best buy card just might wait and see more game play and reviews

I already pre-ordered the game with the Bonus Cards. I was just pointing out that they indeed Sold Out for that Bonus Card version.

Some people were a bit irritated that NISA said there will be "Only 1000" Copies of the Bonus Cards HOWEVER it was noted that they removed the "Only 1000" from the original pre-order page a few days ago and (As your link points out) they INCREASED the number to an amount we don't know of.

So no one knew if there were going to be tons of this version and pointless to pre-order if its not "Limited" at all.

I would hesitate to call this a "version", it's a small pre-order bonus. It's just the same boxed set every retailer is getting and they will give you a small pack of cards in the shipping box. So, yes, some of us thought it was worth the extra few bucks for tax and factoring in the potential savings with Amazon's $58 price, but I don't think people who didn't pre-order from NIS should be too concerned or feel like they missed out on much.

QFE. Probably the same people who think all anime is hentai.

You have to admit over the past decade anime has been pushing the envelope on sexual content (not sure why, maybe in part being heavily marketed towards adolescent male).

On a side note my preorder from Barnes and Noble hasn't changed, and additionally I got a 'security review' email. Things aren't looking good for the order to go through.

I live in Washington State...so I pay tax on Amazon.com purchases. (Well except Marketplace of course. The $58 = 5.19 Tax for me.)

NISA however doesn't charge me Tax since I don't live in California. So to get Free Shipping + No Tax + Free Cards = Best Deal for me.

As for Version. Yeah I probably should have stated Bundle instead of Version.
Ugh, I couldn't decide if I wanted the game. So I guess there's no more chance to get a Limited Edition, eh?
The Limited Edition is not sold out. You can still get it from Gamestop and Amazon among others. The only thing that is sold out is a small pack of cards that they are throwing in the shipping box if you buy from NIS directly. Honestly, you can get the game for $58 from Amazon with FSSS, so that's your best bet right now until the inevitable Gamestop price drop in a couple months.
Gamestop is still taking preorders for the special edition.
The special edition has not sold out anywhere. All retailers that began to offer pre-orders are still doing so, including Amazon($57.99). Like it has been said, the only thing that "Sold Out" was the pre-order bonus that was only available at the NISA store.

This is probably NISA's way of creating "OMG, this is going to be rares!" hysteria. That or they actually figured out how to keep track of their preorder bonus inventory.

Well, I preordered my copy of this sucker at Gamestop. To be honest, I wouldn't even want the cards. Aside from a set of cards with nude men on them, I couldn't imagine a more sissy deck. Definitely not something I'd want to use when playing poker with my buds.
I preordered this at gamestop. the guy told me it is in the 17th. is that the date for the stores?
It would seem so. The actual release date is the 15th so the 17th sounds like it could be the street date.

Ok, so I ordered this and a instock psp game with free shipping and paid with paypal.

After like 5 days my order is still sitting there saying pending and I sent a email but got no response.

Does this mean they are going to ship both once neptunia comes out? Is my paypal messing things up? I just never ordered with them before and not sure how they do things.

They ship out all items in an order at the same time. So your PSP game will ship when Neptunia does. Which I'm hoping is soon.

I was hoping that was the case but I didnt know. Their response time for questions is severly lacking.

Id been looking at zhp for psp for awhile and they had it free ship and no tax so figured Id grab it also.

just got this e-mail from nis, also my account has not yet been billed.

To our valued customers,

I am sending this e-mail notification to inform you about the status of your Hyperdimension Neptunia Preorder. Some of you may have noticed that your account was billed for your order and I wanted to clear up what exactly was going on. Your order information was sent to our warehouse on Tuesday, February 8th, in preparation to be shipped on Thursday and Friday, February 10th/11th. Your orders have all been printed and our warehouse has completed as much packing as possible. Due to severe weather issues, our game shipment has not yet arrived at our warehouse. As of this e-mail, it is currently stuck in Missouri. We cannot guarantee when the games will arrive, but we are expecting them to get here sometime next week. Since our warehouse has begun packing your order, it triggered our billing process and accepted the funds for your orders. If this is an issue for you, please contact us and we will do our best to help rectify things.

Since the warehouse has prepared for your orders so far in advance, they should ship out very quickly after we receive the games. Also, in order to expedite the shipping process, we have upgraded all “free shipping” orders to Priority Mail, which should ensure your shipment arrives in 2-5 business days instead of the usual 3-7. I (and the rest of the NISA Online Store Staff) sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and confusion you’ve experienced due to this issue and I assure you we are working around the clock to get everything taken care of as quickly as possible. We are still working hard to respond to all of the support inquiries we have received this week, but due to the extremely large call and e-mail volumes, we may not get back to everyone until early next week. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your order, you may call us at (714) 540-1122, file a case on our website, e-mail our support address ([email protected]), or reply to this e-mail and I will personally handle your case for you. Thank you so much for your support! We are beyond thankful for all of your outstanding support and hope we can continue to do business with you as long as possible.

Note: If you preordered Neptunia and Ar tonelico Qoga together, you were not billed for your order and your order will be shipping out early next month. Thanks!

Best Regards,

I got the same email posted above. Thank you for saving me some copying/pasting time.

That was nice of them to upgrade the shipping, though.

Agreed. And it was nice to address the issue as well. I probably would have never noticed to be honest.

Got the same email. I wish Capcom was this earnest with the MvC3 preorders. (It's such a mess right now. Still waiting for my CE preorder.) On the bright side, if that doesn't ship in time, I'll be playing Neptunia come the 15th instead. :)

So my Neptunia won't come until March? I wonder if I can ask them to separate the orders.
So my Neptunia won't come until March? I wonder if I can ask them to separate the orders.
Why would they hold them? Shipping is free anyway, so you could have just pre-ordered them separately and they would have still had to pay to ship two items. Hopefully NIS will fix this for you.

Yeah, their system is probably not set up like amazon where they ship individual items in one order as they become available. I would definitely ask them to go ahead and send neptunia or separate your order. I see no reason why you should wait til March to play this hot new release. Besides, what will you do with two games arriving at the same time anyway? :D

I received this as well. I have seen many shipments being delayed due to the weather. First company to truly acknowledge and take action.

Did just that. The support guy took only one minute to separate the orders and said that I would still have priority mail. This totally made my day :3. On another note, I did not know NIS holds items until all of them are in stock, which seems really annoying.

Pay attention better.
My order status says "pending fulfillment." Does that mean it hasn't been shipped and I haven't been charged?
According to the e-mail I received, we've all been charged but the games won't ship out until some time this week due to bad weather in the midwest.
I plan on buying this game and Atelier Rorona at gamestop, when is the street release date for this game?
I think someone mentioned earlier in the thread that their Gamestop told them the 17th.
does amazon also sell the bundle or is it a gamestop exclusive?
Only NISA store offered an exclusive, bonus card pack for preordering at their store.

All other stores will have the same premium box.
