I clicked a link and saw in the first or second sentence: "I didn't finish the game, but..." couldn't read past that. It may not be a review, but come on. Why bother writing a huge write up if you don't know what you're talking about. If you don't like the controls or gameplay that's fine, you'll know that early on in the game. I can tell you right now GTAV sucks and I don't give a shit, but I'm not going to do a 20,000 word write up.
I actually find 18 hour games refreshing and not that hard at all to finish. It's the 4-6hr campaign games that should feel ashamed to charge $60. If you are so ADD that you can't play a game over 1-3 weeks I don't know what to say. Maybe try some phone games. Most people don't buy more than 1 $60 game a month, maybe 3-4 total in a year. Because they play each game a lot and don't find a need to move on if they're enjoying it.
I thought the tone of the game and gameplay fit very well together, unlike in Tomb Raider / Far Cry 3 where it's "Oh no I've never shot a gun" and then go on to murder a whole island.
I don't care about the 10/10 review scores, I'd probably give it a 9/10 because I had some stealth hiccups with the game. I understand why they did it though, the game is amazing and is a must play. Whenever I see a Top 50 list of the year there is so much filler and junk in there, it's nice to let the good ones stand out.
Say you read a 20,000 word essay about how The Sixth Sense was dumb, overrated, and with examples of how it's boring and tells you what Bruce really is, before you watched the movie. Of course you'll just pass on the movie or watch it knowing what's coming and think it's stupid "Oh, a twist whoopie".
Edit: Did you like Metal Gear Sold 4 (and soon to be 5 x2)?
