New! mousin's Free Magazine thread!

Not without doing surveys or whatnot to earn enough points... just signing up only got me 400 of the 3400 points needed for the WSJ... unless you know something I don't.
Yes. That is how RewardsGold works. Unfortunately there is no such thing as a free lunch. You will need to fill out several minutes worth of surveys and give bogus email addresses for the referral points. Otherwise you may just buy your WSJ subscription someplace else. I don't know how you value your time, but I don't mind doing some survey work to get paid with a magazine subscription. Sorry I can't help you beyond this.

Time = Money, therefore this doesn't belong in the FREE section... just my opinion.

Here is something that IS free though!

You still have to spend time filling out information for freebizmag and declining other offers. You still pay by giving over your information which will be used for marketing. I don't want to go round and round on this about what "free" is.

If you don't want to go round and round... why did you even reply?!?

Here's some 'free' advice: You're an asshole.
Wow, that was uncalled for.

I was just fishing for an better way to get the WSJ, and/or giving everyone a heads up that you had to do some surveys and such to get enough points to get it.

But you're right, I am an asshole. I like it that way.

Maxim, sadly, has become utter garbage. It used to be a fun guy's magazine. Maybe all those free subscriptions doomed it into obscurity. I plan to let my subscription die quietly... sometime in the next decade. ;)
It got to the point where I would take it from the mailbox, walk over to the recycling, and chuck it in immediately. Thankfully, mine finally ran out after several years.

I signed up with Maxim many many years ago and its still going. Their mags sucks. It used to be really good with really nice women and celebs. Now its mostly unknown women and sometimes just 1 woman in each month.
