I played the Wheelman demo for 360 today and GODDAMN was it fun. I'm hoping that it will drop to $9.99 by next week sometime, but if it doesn't, I'm still going to grab it. It seems like ridiculous fun for only $12.99.
 
A good deal i think to note under Newegg games is endwar for the psp. Its only six dollars, free shipping, and seems to be an excellent advance wars type clone. Plus, when you have the five dollar off five dollars and up coupon from newegg it makes the deal even sweeter.

Except the graphics are abysmal. It literally looks like a gameboy color game being played on the PSP.

Oh...Endwar is turn based on the PSP? I had no intrest in the main version...but that could be intersting.

How hard is it?

I got my huge stash of games in. All in perfect condition. One came from "RMA" something or other, but looked brand new sealed in normal wrap.

Ironically the only one that looks like it could have been resealed is Bioshock from Amazon for PlayStation that I bought for a friend.
 
Well, got my Silent Hill Homecoming and Samurai Warriors 2 today. The Samurai Warriors 2 looked to be re-wrapped with that cheap feeling shrink wrapping, but the disk was pristine so I'm not going to bitch about it, not at that price. :twisted:

I ordered one for the PS3 a few weeks back and it was new and sealed. But I obviously can't guarantee that any future orders will be the same.

Same here, it's been this price for a while (But in and out of stock) but the copy I got 2-3 weeks ago for the PS3 was new/sealed and the code worked.

For $2.99, I would most likely bite. For $3.99, I may bite--it's practically the price of a big burger. I mean, I bought The Golden Compass for $3.99 before, so why not? It should be an easy 1000 Gs, too.

I guess The Witcher sold out, the copy I ordered is being shipped weirdly. I Live in KY, it ships out of TN, somehow ends up in Ohio, then the package tracking said something about Alabama. Its bouncing around lol

It's not that bad, you just have to be careful with the achievements, get a guide online and it's a fairly easy 1000.
 
Metal Slug 7 for Nintendo Ds where its at. Ships Brand New no tax in NY for $8.99. It also comes with a Cover Sleeve the first I have seen for a DS title, -will help in resale value.
Gamestop sells for 29.99, Ebay has it for $15 and up, and better yet it is truly a fun and awesome game...When I visit my Local Chucky cheese they have Metal Slug Arcade and I spend quite a few tokens every time i take my kids...
 
Sometimes I like playing crappy games but Zoids is very crappy. Feels like a port of a GBA game. The cut scenes are just someone speaking over images. I made it to stage three and don't think i'll touch it again.
 
I have a backlog of 40 games.

Because of that, Castlevania: Judgement Wii Game ($13.99) will have to wait until it is about $5 cheaper.

I want it mostly for its music >.
 
does anyone have any thoughts on golden axe: beast rider? i was thinking of picking it up, but reviews have either been really bad (gamepro, ign) or really good (play magazine).

A few pages back (about 10, I would guess), I asked the exact same thing, and I got a nearly unanimous decision that it was pure garbage. Only 1 or 2 people played it and liked it, and those people 1000/1000'd it, so I guess it's pretty much terrible, but if you can play it, you'll be committed. Or something.

I liked Golden Axe: Beast Rider, I got it for $10 awhile back and enjoyed pretty much all of it and yes I played it all the way through.

I'm installing The Witcher 1.4 patch and it says "Modifying game files. This may take up to two hours. Manually interrupting this process will necessitate re-installation of the game." holy fuck two hours!? And there's another two patches after this one.

Haha! I got the exact same message and had to do a double take. I walked away to play some xbox and it was done in less than the hour after I came back. Could have been 20 minutes. I would think they're over estimating just so you don't cancel and have to start over.

I liked it for what it was but it had serious problems. A decent amount of love was put into this one by rookies who had SOME idea of what they were doing but never actually figured out precisely what so the entire experience is somewhat muddled. It tries to be a tactical, dodge/parry then counter thing but doesn't deliver like it should.
 
After playing Bionic Commando some, it's alot of fun.

I was swinging around like a pro from the getgo, but I can see how it would be frustrating for someone who isn't good at it. The game pretty much relies on you using the arm to swing.
 
Cool, glad you're liking it so far! I'd guess you'll probably like it even more by the end (or maybe not since it took me a few hours to get into it). It's actually the one recent Capcom game I've liked (well, aside from probably Resident Evil 5, which I've skipped until the Gold edition comes out).
 
Well, all this talk of Zoids Assault almost made me pop my copy in to see what all the fuss is about. However, I looked through my backlog and discovered I also have Spectral Force 3 which seems to be a slightly better reviewed game. So I'm playing that now instead ;). It seems pretty good so far. Sorry, this has nothing to do with Newegg (though perhaps is an alternate suggestion to Zoids for those considering a SRPG for the 360). I think I got mine at GS pretty cheap.

I'm pretty sure I'll be liking it towards the end. I'll probably like it enough to play through it after. The only problem for me, is that I have alot of games to play and I have a habit of spreading around the game time. But I need to break that habit. It's just hard when buying alot of cheap games.
