I'm not quite clear what makes it Special instead of Collectors. It could just be a typo or a difference of language choice. I'm not expecting to receive the Collectors edition but will be pleasantly surprised if I do. However, according to the picture on Newegg, it's the Collector's Edition. Either way, I'm sure you could get an even better deal from Newegg if it turns out to be something completely unexpected ;)

I'll be sure to update with what I receive next week.

No unfortunetly the collectors edition does NOT come with knights of the nine, you might be thinking of the GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION? Anyhoo, here are the 3 things that make the collectors edition, a collectors edition.....

Collector's Edition Content:
- Pocket Guide to the Empire
- Making of Oblivion Documentary
- Septim Gold Coin
 
Yeah I think I'd take the extra DLC in the $20 GOTY edition over the collector's edition (especially since Shivering Isles was a pretty meaty expansion) but that's just me. Still plenty of stuff to do in the game without DLC and mods can keep you busy for a while.
 
Technically I did buy Heroes 5 a while back, but...it's in the backlog so I have no idea if I'd want an expansion.

I'd buy Black & White 2 if that were the full game though...
 
the expansion includes the caravan, so rather than creating a hero to go recruit, you can purchase creatures from other towns/huts and they will travel to whatever castle you are purchasing from.
It takes much of the tedium out of the mid-endgame.

I actually liked the demo, and love Superman, but...I don't know, I keep hearing the full game was bad.

I liked that you were invincible though, and the city had a health meter almost. That was a cool idea, given that if I'm fucking Superman, NO ONE can take me down, aside from if we were dropped into the marvel universe and had to face one of the psychics or something :lol:

Ugh, I hate old superhero games with a combinaion of:
-they don't give you your super powers
-they don't let you use your super powers much
-they punish you for using your super powers (Wolverine loses health for unshealthing his claws! Wait...huh?)
-You're way weaker than you should be, etc.

Wolverine Uncaged and The Force Unleashed is how it's done :bouncy:

Wanted for $17? Sounds cool. I know this game sucks, but for $17 I don't know if I can resist.

I love this thread. Newegg just hasn't had much new for sub-$15ish games lately. Granted, I only keep an eye on the 360 and PC games :)
 
I vote to keep it alive! I always look for it, and always buy from it! $15 is my price point too so it fits my collecting needs well.

Hell, I'd vote it deal/thread of the year! (Especially if they drop more games)

Cheap way to get a drum set. Its a pretty sturdy, but overly compact, non adjustable setup. Has more "default" pads to hit versus other basic drum sets. If you have used the other drums, takes a bit to get use to the smaller configuration space-wise. Muscle-memory is a bitch in this case.

I got it for about the same price from Hastings B&M quite a long time ago. Got it to have drums. They seem to work fine, I do like my friends RB2 drums better, but thats a Duh statement. :)

The covers are almost without exception soulless and should all be subtitled "just going through the motions".

Konami definitely did NOT up the ante with this game.

Don't buy it for the drum set. The Rock Revolution drums only work with Guitar Hero World Tour. They do NOT work with ANY of the Rock Band games on Xbox 360. Link

The PS3 drums work with all the games, but the newegg price isn't for the PS3 version.
 
Please keep this thread going. I think more people read it rather than post and talk. I read it like everyday for updates and only responded when I buy something from them. Keep it going, this is arguable the best thread on the site.

I already ordered Crackdown and I made a second cart just to see if it would go through, and the code applied again.
