Samurai Warriors 2: Empires $9.99 :360:

Can anyone give any feedback? I played Warriors Orochi on PS2 and Ninety-Nine Nights on 360 but have no other Dynasty Warrior Experience, so I guess any sequal staleness would be lost on me. I do like feudal Japan too! Worth $10?
Definitely worth $10 IMO. But then I'm a DW junkie and lap them all up.

SW2:E tried to be different in that it introduces a strategy element to break up the mindless hack-and-slash action. So now, you can't just simply hack your way through a stage. You have to attack it in a certain manner (basically take over portions of enemy occupied land and then defend those against enemy attack). You have your officers to deploy as you deem fit -- to attack and take down another enemy base or to stay put and defend existing ones? All this is done by pressing the D-pad during the hacking, so the action doesn't break up too much.

Outside of the action phase, you can now choose to implement tactics/decisions suggested by your officers (e.g. tax your people for gold, develop your land, scout for new ronins, improve your weaponsmith skills, etc.) There's a lot of stuff to do, so you should get more than your money's worth especially if you enjoyed Warriors Orochi.
Hmm, Raiden Fighters Aces is $14.99 at K*mart? I've never seen the game in any store...
Yep, I've seen it at multiple KMarts for that price :)

lol they sent me a resealed copy of crackdown and my replacement was also resealed. Wtf? I guess two resealed copies is better than one factory sealed copy.

So far I've ordered about 8 games on Newegg in the $5.99-$14.99 pricerange and they have all been US factory sealed copies.

Yeah, I haven't had any problems until crackdown. I think it's only a problem with 360 games.

I just noticed that Halo Wars went PH, so if anyone is interested at that price and likes to avoid PH copies, they should probably order now, while Newegg is probably still selling old stock.

Just got Crackdown and yeah it's resealed but the side sticker appears intact. Are there any problems with these copies before I open this thing? Has anyone received a copy of Crackdown that wasn't resealed from Newegg?

Bought one for my bro-in-law and it was the same deal. Sticker intact, but resealed. Looked brand new otherwise.

I wonder why all the copies are resealed

Just received Trauma Center: New Blood and it looks like it's resealed. It's wrapped in that stretchy plastic with tiny holes in it. I even noticed a spec of dirt on the inside of the plastic. Though, otherwise it looks brand new. Just a heads-up.
Take out Halo 3 beta codes?
There has never been a "beta code" for Halo 3 and there also isn't going to be one for Halo Reach.

The Halo 3 beta was accessed by having the Crackdown game. From the menu within the game you downloaded the beta/demo. The same goes for Halo Reach, except you have to have Halo 3: ODST in order to access the Halo Reach beta/demo.

Is Blue Dragon still shipping opened or the Spanish version? I probably shouldn't have sold my copies of that and Lost Odyssey. They weren't my absolute favorite Sakaguchi games (FF 9 and 10 are for me), but now that I don't even know if he'll ever make more games, I kind of want them at least for sentimental reasons :(

As an FYI for those asking, I've bought the following 360 games from NewEgg in the past month and all of them were USA version and factory sealed w/stickers and all:

Battle Fantasia
Bionic Commando
Blue Dragon
Clive Barker's Jericho
Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard
Fuel
King of Fighters XII
Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom
NASCAR 09
Red Faction Guerrilla
Resident Evil 5
Skate
Street Fighter IV CE
Viking Battle for Asgard
Tom Clancy's EndWar
The Wheelman

But was there some special marking on the package saying it had the halo 3 beta? Maybe the "resealed" ones had their packaging changed. Not sure why they would go through the trouble though.

I did the Halo 3 beta, I'm 99% sure there was a label on the outside that indicated so. Might had to have removed it due to legal reasons... You never know with lawyers in the USA!

I got one game that had an NTSC all-English front & spine, while the back cover is bilingual with the text displayed in both English and Spanish:
Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard

However with that game, according to cdcovers.cc the bilingual back cover is the only one that was released, so I'm guessing this too is the USA version.
I have an original launch Matt Hazard here with Trilingual English/Spanish/French. You sure that's just Spanish yer lookin at? I bought this copy at Best Buy new & sealed.
i dont see this anywhere in the forums, but is there no bing cashback for newegg anymore?
yes but it's only 1% right now.

I just got Monster Madness in the mail. It's been resealed, but the security sticker is intact. Honestly, it doesn't bother me, I bought it because it looks a lot like Zombies Ate My Neighbors only in 3D and it's multiplayer. :p

Thanks for the heads up! I've been meaning to check out PDZ and at $10 the price is right.

I got my copy of Trauma Center, it is DEFINITELY not a "retail store issue new" title. The shrink wrap is not the standard issue and the case, while white, is not Nintendo issue, and there is no security sticker. The case looks like it is designed for a rental company, where they can place a lock on the case.

That said, everything inside seems to be in brand new order. No notice of the manual or disc ever being touched. I just thought I'd let it be known in case this mattered to some people.

I can confirm the same thing. The white box has a little part on the side you see on rental boxes, where they put the lock on. Everything inside of package was completely mint condition though, and it doesn't appear to be another region disc, so I won't complain too much. It would really be nice if Newegg would learn what new meant and stopped labeling these as such.

The disc case in and of itself is not proof that it is a reseal. Nintendo authorized replicators use one of two styles of white cases for retail Wii games and the lock style you are talking about is regularly used by Capcom, Atlus and several other companies. I have several games including Spyborgs that I purchased from Best Buy new that have this case. Wii games never come with a security seal. The wrap is a potential sign that the game is not new. All US release Wii games use Y Fold wrap and not soft shrinkwrap.
