The disc case in and of itself is not proof that it is a reseal. Nintendo authorized replicators use one of two styles of white cases for retail Wii games and the lock style you are talking about is regularly used by Capcom, Atlus and several other companies. I have several games including Spyborgs that I purchased from Best Buy new that have this case. Wii games never come with a security seal. The wrap is a potential sign that the game is not new. All US release Wii games use Y Fold wrap and not soft shrinkwrap.
He's right... I thought the same thing since the case didn't look standard, but then I found some other titles at retail stores that utilized the same case. There was even one game (Tenchu I think) that used two different cases.
i dont see this anywhere in the forums, but is there no bing cashback for newegg anymore?

yes but it's only 1% right now.
Where's the Bing cashback link for Newegg then? I couldn't find it. 1% still would've made me happy.

I ordered Tom Clancy's EndWar two nights ago (can't beat $8.99!), so I'll report back in a few days to tell what condition it comes in.

Many PSP games have been lowered slightly including:
Dead Head Fred ($5.99)
N+ ($7.99)
Lumines 2 ($7.99)

I ordered EndWar a few days ago and got it yesterday. Everything was perfectly new; no weird wrap or anything.
Kingdom Under Fire: Circle Of Doom :360: down to 9.99
I was going to ask if that was any good, but I checked and it's up to $37 now, so I'm not worrying about it (low average review score, but...)

I *think* I know what you're talking about, although...hmm, either Wii game cases have changed a bit, or maybe I just hit a streak where all the ones were that new style. I'd thought it was to save money as it seemed like there was less plastic. I think I've seen that on the Xbox and Playstation too, where there's a lot less plastic and the case isn't completely sealed.
Elebits (DS) $9 is back instock again ;)
Sweet! :applause: I wanted to play that. Wii game is a cool concept, just too hard. DS game is...totally different I guess, but still sounds fun.

I'll get Blue Dragon (again) if someone can confirm it's not the Spanish one anymore (or opened, or spit on, or...whatever  )
Elebits (DS) $9 is back instock again ;)
Sweet price on Elebits DS. I'm a little bummed I picked it up when it was $12.99 (haven't played it yet).

So nobody knows if Blue Dragon is new and English? I may just place my order... (Or maybe get Elebits by itself, but I feel weird just ordering one thing.)
feel weird just ordering one thing.)
Why? It's free shipping. Most of my online orders from Amazon, Newegg, etc. are for a single item.

Hmm, okay...but come on, nobody knows about Blue Dragon's status? Anyone? :whistle2:D

Maybe no one's been brave enough to try, after the opened/Spanish/someone chewed on it reports at first (but surely Newegg's gotten with the program since then?)

I got Blue Dragon in the last month and the one I received was fine. Mentioned it a few pages back in the thread when someone else asked about it. I assume it must be fairly safe now or more people would probably be complaining about it.

Cool, thanks KillingMachine! I missed that (obviously  )

Hmm...do I spend $10 and the storage space for something I'll probably never play through again?

Probably...I love Sakaguchi, and I'm super worried that Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey may be the last games like that :(

Oh, thanks, man. That makes me happy.

Got my order today:

Samurai Warriors 2: Empires - resealed
Trauma Center: New Blood - resealed & lock case

Quite a few great PSP games at $10 or less right now:

Metal Slug Anthology ($9.99) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...59002&cm_re=metal_slug-_-79-259-002-_-Product

Capcom Classics Remixed ($8.99) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16879233005

Mega Man Maverick Hunter X ($8.99) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16879233001

Mega Man Powered Up ($9.99) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16879233004

EDIT:

All of these are in stock as of 3:43 PM EST

Those are all great games. The only problem is the loading times on the classic collections and metal slug anthology. I'd recommend getting those on PSN if possible.

I haven't played Metal Slug Anthology, but those other two didn't have bad loading (but then I've never personally played a game with bad loading). Would be really minimal when you start a game.

I don't like the collections though. They have a ton of games, but they're all arcade games, and what I really want is NES/SNES/etc. games.
Thanks for the heads up on Mega Man Powered Up. Mega Man X on psp was a blast.
No problem at all! I noticed some of these earlier today when the info about Castlevania was first posted. Finally picked up Metal Slug on the cheap, as well as the Capcom Classic and Mega Man games I was missing. Gotta love three new PSP games for less than $30 :applause:

thanks. just picked up 3 games.

Kingdom Under Fire is a huge let down if you were expecting the quality of the RTS/Dynasty Warriors combo of the games that were on the original XBox. Even the story is really hard to get into for the characters. It is highly unrecommended for the single player experience.

However, if you can get another person to play with you It's not horrible but It can be damn fustrating at times (especially the frame rate and overall performance of the game). The fact that they use stamina for every attack becomes REAL bothersome in the long run.

I'd say the most disappointing part of it was the graphics. They look nice, but the previews made it look like 10/10 for graphics years ago. So much for that.

If it goes back to $10 I'd say it's worth a try only if you can get someone to swallow the bitter pill with you.

Warning on Metal Slug -- it's virtually unplayable on the PSP. This game is best played on the PS2. The PSP version is better than the Wii port, though.

Curses! Elebits DS is out of stock :(

That'll teach me to wait. I wish we had a list of these kept up to date. I bet there's a bunch of stuff I just don't know about.

I wish the same thing... I'd be happy to take over the OP so that we have one that is at least somewhat up to date, but I don't want to infringe on wildnuts02.

shouldnt the op be fix'd every now and then?

bettter yet, make a new thread with an op who will be in charged on updating and eliminating old deals...

Resistance 2 Collectors Edition is 39.99 + Free Shipping. The regular edition is still 56.99. I am not sure if this is posted- but I can't sort through the whole thread.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same thing. Seems like maybe there could be some system where we PM whoever's updating the post or something, and then they can update it (even just once a day, or less sometimes-wouldn't have to be perfect).

Given the low amount of PM space, I think that's a horrid idea ;) I'd just recommend mimicking the Gamestop TIV thread, where people can post changes and the OP actually updates them and indicates as such.

Oh, hadn't considering the PM issue (didn't know there was a limit). Some way of doing that though so it's easyish for everyone.

I had no idea there WAS a Gamestop TIV thread. Last I've used of that on this site was when we had the Wiki, and I'd update that.

You can take a gander at it and get a feel for how he goes about updating it. A great model for other threads (like this one).
