I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.
EDIT:this is all I got. The new stuff is listed on the top. If anyone else at TRU has anything to add let me know.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.
EDIT 4: Because no CAG wants to pay $5 more than he/she has to, shipwreck took the liberty of putting which games are eligible for $5 rebates on PriceGrabber. For complete info on the rebates check out this thread:

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

Thats not what mine told me, you can price adjust within 14 days in CA.

Everyone I asked at three different TRU stores in MD said it wouldn't be a problem getting the difference back on a purchase if the price dropped within the next few weeks. If they give me any trouble, I'll simply return what I bought (not a lot, by the way), but I definitely plan to go for my price adjustment before the holiday this weekend. :D
 
I see an awful lot of people who say their local TRU tells them they don't price adjust, and thats just not true; I suspect whatever employee it is that tells these people "no" must think you mean price matching other retailers, and not getting the difference on purchases you've made at TRU if the items you've bought end up going on sale.

So, if you call, make it clear as you can to them what you're asking, the person on the other end of the line might not be quick on the draw. Or lazy.
 
My local Parmatown TRU was a bust for me. Nothing on my list was in stock. They did have about 10 copies of Doom 3 (RE), Bloodrayne 2, MK:KE, 1 copy of Razes Hell, and some miscellaneous stuff. I'm definitely going to another TRU tomorrow morning hoping my luck changes. If not, I still have plenty of stuff to play that I got from September's BB sale that's still shrinkwrapped.

I was looking over the conditions for the coupon, and it doesn't say "Limit 1 Per Customer" or anything along those lines.

So, technically, we could print one out for each game purchase, no?
 
i really think benboxer shouldn't post this deal so early so now it hits all the other "asshole forums". if he posted late tuesday night or today the chance of us CAGS getting the games will be a lot higher compare to those hoarders and advance buyers for profits...

not that im complaining about the kindness that what benboxer is doing! i really ahve to say thank you even tho i doubt i can get any of the games i want on the list. however maybe next time deals should pst a little later so it wont get wide spreaded to everywhere!

No.

Working at a TRU, I can tell you the following:

-Cashiers must follow the store policy of redeeming only one coupon per customer, no exceptions.
-Employees they may not accept photocopied coupons, nor "recycle" them and reuse them, and may not explain how to work around limitations of said coupons to anyone. They're reminded of this every day at the cost of their job if they don't follow this rule.
-That coupon is not printed on paper, but rather on a card very similar to a gift cards; they'll know it's a fake.

In short, don't bother wasting your time, you'll only come away looking stupid. Sorry.

Yeah. Well the beauty of this is that other peeps will be calling/checking my store and then not attempting to show up until Thursday. This at least gives me a fighting chance.

I was at my store casing it last night and asked them if i buy something from them and they drop an item in price, will the price adjust and they said yes. First he said 2 weeks then i heard something about 45 days. I'll stick with the 2 week part. So i called, they said yes and personally asked face to face and they said yes. But they DO NOT match other stores. It could be YMMV, but i think on average they will price adjust.

Benboxer and other workers at B&M stores who have inside info, don't "listen" to this post. :)

I'm very thankful he posted it so early. It took days for it to be copied and pasted to other forums and gave us an inside track.

Besides, the whole hoarder thing is exaggerated on here tenfold each and every time a clearence comes up. These people seem to watch way too many Oliver Stone movies. The fact of the matter is some stores only had 2 or 3 copies of most games because they are older stock and TRU isn't going to be buying more product that isn't moving (just look at his sample inventory printout from his store, as only a few games were plenitful and some titles weren't stocked at all). Besides, reselling is just the nature of the beast these days. You just got to roll with it and beat them to the product.
 
Guess i better go tonight b4 the FW and SD hoarders get out there. Rather not bother with going back but to save that much money should be worth the 2nd trip even though it'll be a mad house.
 
Checked out my TRU again, still tons of stock of most of these games. I probably will end up rebuying the games I've already picked up early so I can use a coupon and return the others. Put them on separate transactions so I don't look like a tool returning ten games on one receipt :p

Well I just went to Toys R Us, the only game they had that I liked was RE4. I bought but I'm still a little skeptical about the sale, but atleast I can return it as long as I dont open it (which is very tempting).

The cashier was "unaware" of any markdowns but he verified that I can get a pricematch up to 30 days after purchase. There were still multiple copies of the I mentioned, but I saw another guy there with a list and it didn't look like it game from CAG.

I didn't have time to check out the one on West Broad, and the Sawmill one never has anything good, so for now I'd say the Morse Road store is your best bet.

This is going to be interesting for me since the TRU near me doesn't ever put anything out on the floor really. They just sort of keep all of it in the back. I feel sorry for whoever helps me tomorrow when I go in with my list.
 
I called TRU (after hearing that this hit FW and SlickDeals), and believably enough... they said that they only had 1 copy of RE4 left, only a few Pikmin 2, no Zelda: Four Sword Adventures, and no WarioWare GC left. I listed those games because those are the ones that I know that TRU had more than 5 copies of.

gah. it's common sense, if you're a member of this forum you should, under no circumstances, share deals found here with those hoarders on fatwallet and slickdeals. dammit to hell, i just want re4 and pikmin 2 for cheap. i'm going to be irate if the ample supply of games in this area is bought out by a fucking fatwallet asshole trying to turn a profit.

There are plenty of asshole hoarders here as well. They just generally don't talk about it because when they do they get their asses handed to them. On FatWallet it's more of a norm to be a hoarder because the site is based solely on good deals rather than a shared hobby or interest, so it's okay to come right out and say you're a hoarder. But don't fool yourself into thinking tons of those people aren't lurking here. Just check out half.com for some of these games in a couple of days and I guarantee you'll be able to match a few seller names to CAG screen names.

Well I got a copy of RE4, but now im really nervous becasue some of the FW people might be telling the truth about working for TRU and there being no sale...sigh...now I wish I had used the mastercard part of my bank card as opposed to ATM...I might be forced to take cash tomorrow when I refund it, and I would rather it go to my account. Lame, lame, lame.

I hope this sale is real...im starting to lose faith...
 
My heart sank a little when I heard this deal got posted to FW. Couldn't that guy have waited at least until Thurs. I'll admit I'm a member of that site too, but I wouldn't be as stupid as to post a deal on that site before I had even gotten in on it.

One suggestion for a sale as big as this is for the OP to wait until 1 day before the sale to announce it so that we might be able to keep the hoarders away. I'm not confident that there would be anything left when I get to TRU tomorrow. Sigh......
