Offical Disney Movie Rewards Code Thread

My DMC enrollment arrived on the 17th and 5 out of 7 had slipcovers. A Bug's Life and Ratatouille did not, however, so it's time to find out whether or not they even have one. If they do, I'd like to get a few I need before ordering just 1.
Yeah, those are both supposed to have slips.

Did you guys get a welcome kit with your new enrollment? If you did what is it? I didn't get one even though it was listed in my shipment confirmation e-mail.

An enrollment kit is the initial shipment of movies. There should be a magazine that includes item numbers to order movies and a DMR code. That is all that is included.

Anyone who is planning on seeing the new Muppets Most Wanted movie and has other Muppet blu-rays at home, your Disney Magic Codes may get you free movie tickets.

I had Muppet Christmas Carol and The Muppet Movie Almost 35th Anniversary blu-rays that I purchased a long time ago, which I have recently been redeeming the digital copies. When I entered them into the DMR site, I saw that I had unlocked new offers ... which included 2 movie tickets to the new Muppet Most Wanted movie, one for each title.

Finally got around to putting in 3 codes to qualify for the free movie. Decided on getting Cars.
It's going to be in DVD packaging just so you know. I did the same thing without reading a few pages back and didn't know about it. Now it's the ugly duckling of the shelf. I'm not gonna get rid of it or replace it simply because it was free but man that thing is ugly and stares back at me when I look at my Blu Ray shelves. It's looking at me right now...

CLAIMED

I've got two unlocked movie offers that I'm willing to give to two active members who are willing to pay the shipping costs. I would like the DMR code once you receive the movie though. This will all work unless I can't change the shipping info. The shipping cost would be paid via PayPal.

I already have all of the offered titles, and selling them on Amazon/eBay probably wouldn't be worth the time.

I'd be willing to pay the shipping, but how did you get two of them?

Also, only one code per title will work on an account, even if the codes are different.

I created an account with my mother's info to make use of duplicate codes

Send me a PM and my second one is yours, I'll get back with you later tonight or possibly tomorrow

Yeah I'm aware. My shelf still has dvds so it doesn't bother me.

You'll probably just have to try eBay. Out of curiosity, what do people do with those giant posters? 48" x 70" is a huge poster.
My wife kind of wanted this because she loves Frozen, but I'm not a huge fan of the poster, plus the thing is huge and we currently have a small apartment. I have a huge Casino Royale poster I won at a midnight showing, one of those huge ones they hang in the lobbies of theaters, that currently sits at my parents house rolled up. It's amazing, but nowhere really to display it.

I've tried Ebay, but to no avail. I just like oversized things normally, and I also have a wall with absolutely nothing on it, so I figure I could just put the poster and not have to worry about it being empty anymore.

I have an original Tron poster and Akira poster from college up in the attic that were adhesive mounted and framed. In mint the Tron poster is worth around 150-300 bucks. Mounting it with glue destroyed most of it's value though.

If you end up buying the Frozen poster do a bit of research on how to store or display it. The bus size and the theatrical poster become collector's item about ten year out.

Just got my 6 Blu Rays in from the club! Only 2 more titles to get to finish this thing off, I guess I'll wait for the next round of Ghibli films to come out.

i have 8 disney codes atm and im itching to use them but im waiting for the next code promo to show up after the current one ends lol. any idea as to what the next promos will be ? double points perhaps ?

It has been quite some time since a double points promotion. The woman who runs the Facebook page recently stated there isn't anything like that planned in the near future. I think it has been almost two years since the last double points promotion. I'm holding on to 4500 points just in case.

did she drop hints for what the next promo is ?

Yeah if they offered a poster for a movie I really wanted I MIGHT get that, but even most film posters are worth less than a Disney blu-ray. Most current movie posters are easily gotten from local movie theaters for $5.

Still it's not like they ask for much for some of the posters. 550 points isn't bad for the 40" posters. I've redeemed points on 3 movies with dmr points and the rest I've redeemed for no movie items. so far from the club I've redeemed for:

Duck tales Treasure of the Lost Lamp DVD
Fantastic Four complete series DVD
Disney Oceans Bluray
Iron Man 3 poster
Thor Dark World poster
Tron Legacy poster
Pirates 4 poster
Captain America Winter Soldier poster
4 Disney Muppets Vinylmations
5 Disney Toy Story Vinylmations
Kermit the Frog plush
Jack Skellington head knocker
Jack Skellington head car magnet
$5 Starbucks card
Avengers Wall clings

I hope they bring back the regular Vinylmations and not the popcorn ones or keychains.

the non movie stuff is a waste of points imo. the movies will get used again and again so they have much more value to me
I meant Disney Movie Club, not Rewards.

The 50/60% off promos are the cheapest you can get Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and X-Men, while many of the MSRP's for the various ABC series are cheaper than Amazon's regular price, never mind with the promo. Plus the various Collector Sets.

How often do they do the coupon deals like around the time IM3 came out and you could "buy" a coupon that saved you so much on a Disney movie. Ever since I got into this program it's the only thing I've spent any points on. Just don't see anything else in their store I'd consider spending points on so I'm just waiting until they do something like that again.

The Jim Shore collectibles they have on offer retail for about the same price (or more) as Blu Rays, and every time you look at it, it gets "used." The only downside is no option to pay for shipping yourself.

I think it's against the rules to just sell a code digitally, but if you physically mail the card with the code then it's fine.

I got my DMC enrollments the other day. All 7 came with slipcovers! Unfortunately, my shitty local post office appears to have played football with the package so some of the slips are dented or dinged up, but it's better than nothing. I really wasn't expecting an Avengers slip.

New DMC Featured Title. Pirate Fairy with either Peter Pan or Brave.

The VIP promo went back up to 60% too.

Also, many Disney movies are currently in the middle of a 2-for-$30 deal.

New DMR rewards? Looks like a fairly cheap price for Hidalgo, and that's about the only new addition for movies.

On the collectible front, we have the REMOVAL of several Jim Shore Traditions, including the nice looking Tinkerbell, and the Mickey and Minnie set. Isn't a new month supposed to mean MORE options, not less?

The 2 for 30 movies default to that pricing structure even when purchasing the featured title. Those titles should be priced at $9.98 each if purchasing a title at full price. 1 title added defaults to 9.98, but when you add a second both titles increase to $15 each. This is based off the titles I had in my cart. Lilo and Stitch and An Emperor's New Groove.

Well, the 2-for-30 is more for people who don't get the featured title to combine with the discount. It is supposed to be its own thing like the VIP Deal.

My enrollment order came with all the slipcovers! (Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Howl's Moving Castle, The Incredible, My Neighbor Totoro)

The Ponyo did not come with one though. :(
