It is still quite possible to do, just read every post. Don't have time? Get a job at a desk, one that you can't stand, and then you'll have plenty of time to stay up to date.

Wierd, the charge has vanished altogether from my Chase online statement in either posted activity or temp authorizations. Who is showing up for you as vendor? I see nothing from Amazon or SARL

Mine ended up being charged at a lower amount after it posted. I think it was $420 originally and then after post it dropped to $418. Still got charged $8 from my bank for conversion, but that was expected.

In other news, I contacted Amazon.fr (using their English support email) regarding the damage to my shipment. In their words, "I offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by this incident and just send it to the department in charge." They always say that and nothing ever changes. Doesn't matter which Amazon website it is (US site has told that to me sooo many times).

I sent pictures of the large dent and rips on the PS4 box. I asked for an exchange on the unit if possible, but they don't have it in stock anymore. They instead offered a partial refund for the unit and for the shipping if I decided to keep it. I accepted it since I can't get another unit.

So far the system is working OK. Will be testing it throughout the day. If I have any problems with something other than the hard drive, I will return it.

 
Best Buy should definitely get the Uncharted and Deus Ex CE's. Definitely much more likely they get those than XCX if I were to put odds on it.

As for the Mirror's Edge one, I'm beginning to think it's a Gamestop exclusive, although you'd figure Gamestop would have ****EXCLUSIVE!!!**** all over their website about it, since all they do is pump up their own company.

It's a bit underwhelming for the non super fan. Just some overpriced stuff to clutter up the place. I would have been happier to see the slime USB cover from the console included in the CE since it would be an unique addition.

That DLC is what put it over the top!

Saw this game in action at PAX and it looks a lot better than I was expecting. Definitely excited for it.

Not +$40 for the extra stuff excited, but still excited. Maybe BBY gets it and it'll be +$32 instead? Does that help?

Maybe they weren't getting enough preorders for it so they decided to send a bunch to Amazon to sell. If that's the case then I don't expect anyone else to sell it besides those two.

So UPS requires a signature for my $100 MGSV Collector's Edition.

They require a signature for my $20 MGSV Collector's Guide.

They don't require a signature for my $400 MGSV console and just leave it at the door. Great thinking UPS!

That's all on the sender - the sender elects for signature confirmation or not.

Whoever shipped it decided if it required a signature not UPS. Blame them.

 
Anyone still waiting on MGSV PS4 CE to come in? I know its not a great Ce but I still am looking forward to it. I preordered on March 9,2015 and it was going to get here on release but then changed to today and today it changed to the 8.

Whoops, I must be tired from work. There was supposed to be more to that post.

What I meant is that the 2 smaller and less expensive packages shipped from Amazon require a signature, yet the bigger and more expensive package from Amazon France gets placed right in the middle of my walkway right out in the open. Not even on my porch. My neighbors must be blind.

Who did you order from? I ordered from Best Buy and got it on the 1st in the afternoon.

so did any of you that got your mgs v console today and chose the cheapest shipping option email amazon and ask for a refund because they falsely stated 10-12 days shipping and it came in 2?

I will if I was told that it would take 10-12 days, went on a vacation only to have it delivered in 2 days and stolen.

There is a reason why the estimates are given, fucking stick to it.
 
Got my MGS V PS4 today. Came in horrible shape, the outer box was ripped to the point you can see what's inside. The PS4 box was also torn on one side. Emailed Amazon.fr just to voice my displeasure. They emailed me back and offered 60.00 EUR refund.

Jeeze man, sorry to hear that.

Mine came in mint condition. I was truly surprised after reading the horror stories on here.

Did they ask you to send pictures of the damaged packaging?

That makes me want to email them and see what they offer me lmao :D/
