As some else said much earlier, that’s basically what they cost, so you aren’t getting a special deal when you buy them. It’s simply an extra option to buy or not buy.

Best Buy seems to have only the base game for $50, but no Tailor-Made edition. Does that just mean they're missing the description, or do they really not carry Tailor-Made?

Thankfully, Amazon Prime is offering 20% off Tailor-Made even though it has "edition" in the name.

I think I heard that there will only by two versions at launch - the Tailor-made and At the Seams Editions. I'm guessing the Best Buy standard edition is actually the Tailor-Made Edition though it will likely be safer to order from somewhere else unless they update the listing.

 
God of War - Collector's Edition - PlayStation 4 is $90 at Newegg with code...Should I bite at this price?  I really want it, just don't know if I should wait for the price to drop even more...

 
Octopath Traveler: Wayfarer’s Edition - Nintendo Switch has been up on Amazon for the past few days and still available seems to be sold out everywhere else.

Ended up cancelling my Octopath CE. I love the game, I fucking love the art, but the CE is just so meh....I'd have been 100% sold if it came with an Art Book or something along those lines.

 
I did the same with the Owlboy CE. I thought the game was super overrated, I mean it wasn't bad, but I was expecting it to be great because of the reviews and it was pretty meh and I think the CE is kinda lame, so I cancelled.

I didn’t order one until after trying the recent three hour demo. It wasn’t in stock at Best Buy , but then the next day it was, so I placed an order. Speaking about it though, I haven’t gotten a shipping notice yet. Anyone have a notice from BB yet?

It doesn't come out until Friday, so they likely won't ship until tomorrow or Thursday.

 
I'm most likely going to cancel my preorder for the Octopath CE but before I do, anyone here really want it? 

I have it on amazon, so i'll just easily change shipping and payment.

Yeah, I have an open order for one as well.  It would be an instant cancel if not for GCU discount.  Still, I'm not sure.  Those CE contents are poor value for an extra 40 bucks.  Only reason I'm keeping the order open is that it's a JRPG.

I heard review embargo ends on Thursday ... So hard to tell if pre-ordered. I canceled my GameStop preorder from all the preorder credit bonus last month, still have my Bestbuy GCU order, but the Amazon base game (no CE) preorder for 40% off (with Amex discount) is too enticing to make even 20% off Wayfarer's worth it for me. 8-page book + pop-up not worth it for me.
 
I keep trying to get a pre-order in for the Spiderman PS4 Collector Edition but I just can't get one. I never saw it go up on any site and Best Buy is the only site I've seen it pop back up on but every time I try to get it on the site/app/store I'm told that it is sold out and the order can't be finished. I've been persistent but just can't get one.

If anyone is going to cancel their order please let me know and maybe we can work something out.

I really wish they would give more details about the statues/figures included with these CEs. Like, what they are made out of - if these were high quality vinyl/PVC/resin or polystone (I know), I would probably get the $400 version. If they are the usual cheap plastic pieces of crap that litter these CEs, forget it - I'd prefer they remove the one that comes with the $150 CE.

 
Looks cool, just not 40$ extra cool. I'd rather just spend the difference towards the inevitable artbook and full sound track. I have gotten burned on one too many CEs lately that have tanked in price

EDIT: Just saw the full Soundtrack and 2 sets of Acrylic figures are up on Amazon JP. I'll just get those instead

I like the Octopath CE and its only $32 more than the standard with GCU. I just wish Best Buy would ship mine already to arrive on release day. I just looked on Best Buy's site and the standard wont even arrive till the 16th if you order it now.

Same here. I was debating on whether I should cancel or not but to know it’s a pop up book makes to so worth it. I agree that it’s a bit expensive but better then most of the CE/LE nowadays.
