I wanted it for the art book and steelbook. If you don't like any of the included items you can just buy the regular copy or keep the CE and sell the items you don't want to keep.

Easiest way is to go on the best buy gaming forums. PM a mod I think gaming_bby or something to that effect I always used. Anyway, pm them and explain you issue. Include your order number so they can reference it right away. If not, you'll get an email asking for it. They usually get me a code pretty quickly. Not the same day quick but I always got it.

Main reason I ordered it was because of the steelbook. But given all this bullshit that has happened with Best Buy, I’m skeptical I will even get it. That is why I was thinking to just buy a vanilla copy. Guess I’ll wait and see if it shows up.
 
I quit checking this past week, but has Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Special Edition ever been available again at Best Buy since the first time it sold out? I still want to get it with GCU and after refreshing the first week nonstop I gave up. Just checked again today and it still says coming soon.

It’s popped up a couple times, albeit very briefly before selling out.
 
Reprint for Spider Man? I seriously doubt that. Sony (and their second party devs) doesnt reprint any CE. It's already delisted on BB too which is a good sign that it isn't coming back.

Wish the Spider-Man steelbook had something written on the spine. Other than that, it’s a good CE. Should’ve been $20 cheaper but there’s already a high demand since it was a Spider-Man game.
 
I’m seriously confused as shit with Best Buy. So far I’ve been told it’s prepped for shipping, given a tracking number for UPS. However it’s not in the system yet, which is expected since it’s the weekend but others have gotten tracking info. I’m seriously wondering if I’m going to get it lol. Although when I called back in to ask about the tracking number to make sure the one I was given was correct, they gave me another $20 gift card bring the total to $50 now in gift cards they keep giving me for the inconvenience.

At this point I might as well just go buy the vanilla version since it is basically free haha
 
I bought the spiderman console and the CE from Bestbuy and I got my DLC thru email in less than 30mins from picking it up. Also the statue is really nice, little bit on the small side bit very detailed.

That is usually the best way from my experience. I'm sure there is a backlog of messages regarding This. I say give it to Monday then try another mod.
 
So AFTER A GAWD DAMN HOUR of waiting, I spoke to a rep that told me that my pre-order code was never sent because it wasn't attached to the order. So they had to escalate it to a "code specialist" and because there are only so many that is why there is a delay. Also, because my Destiny 2 is still being processed I will be given a $20 GC but only if it passed the estimated arrival date. Fyi to everyone.

*EDIT* As I posted this my code came through.

Well I got my spider man code for preordering the CE but no code for the nba 2k19. I fully paid it off on day of pick up and they got the game from the back for me. Prolly didn’t count as a pre order

How 'bout that LE art book? Seriously though, has anyone heard from forbidden planet about cost of shipping that thing? I think it's awesome that it's signed by the entirety of the insomniac team but worried shipping is going to kill it.

When does Square Enix usually start to ship orders?  Also curious that the Tomb Raider Ultimate Edition says released the 14th and the normal Croft edition comes out 2 days early.

They ship a few days before street date.

Croft Ed getting early release by a few days, Ultimate Edition doesn't include Croft Edition, so that have same street date as vanilla version.
