There's a chance that if you order online and do store pickup you might get 2 steelcase. 1 in the mail and 1 when you pick up the game in store if they have some available. Unfortunately I won't be able to try that since I won't be able to get to the store until after 6pm which I'm pretty sure all the steelcase will be gone. I'm always off on Tuesdays but why does this Batman have to be released on a Fri?

It was confirm awhile back that it is available instore also but depends on numbers of steelcase they will have.

Well, I did a store pickup when the case was announced, and like giantqtipz said above, I just got the shipping notification on it.  Seems like a more convoluted version of the Dead Island thing, why not just give the case with a pre-order instead of spending the money to ship it?

 
Well I didn't see any mention of this CE in this or the UK thread (its an EU release PS3 game, region-free obviously).  Painkiller: Hell and Damnation CE is available through Amazon.co.uk for a very reasonable price of ~$37.xx shipped.  I used to think Amazon.co.uk wouldn't ship to the U.S., but that seems to have changed, since my order went through fine and its already shipped.  Obviously this is an "old-school" FPS, more on the mindless side, but still a lot of fun if you're into these kinds of games (Serious Sam series being one of my other favorites, obviously!).  The CE isn't anything elaborate, but I think its pretty nice considering the low price.  Sorry if this is not a good place to post this, I checked the UK CE thread and it looked like that thread hadn't been updated in a while. 

Also, this game is coming to North America for PS3 (regular edition, 29.99), but the 360 version seems to have been cancelled.  So for about $8 more than the North American release, you can get the full EU CE with all the extras.

I would love for it to be a steelbook, but given that there is ample evidence for it being a metalpack, why the hell are you still insisting it's a steel?

 
I thought it was a steelbook too but I'll just call it steelcase for now until we get a confirmation. It's still a pretty good preorder bonus considering they are already giving $10RZ.

Pretty sure they will be back at Amazon too, if not BB as well

Let's see if it stays in stock. Even some of the more rare/exclusive CE's have all come back in stock at one point in time or another.

lol you guys are obsessed with steelbooks. If that's all you're after, why not wait and buy the steelbook individually on ebay or something, and then get the actual game on Black Friday? You could probably get both for under $60 that way. Also, that way you can find out if it is actually a steelbook or not.

Why the dramatic noooooo? My gf is really into batman and wants this CE. I just placed an order on gamestop but did not realize I could get free shipping, so I tried to cancel to place another order, the website told me I had to send an email to request a cancellation. I am not sure if its worth it to try to save 5 bucks vs. not getting the CE at all or for a reasonable price at least. Is this likely to come back in stock on amazon or BB, should I keep my pre order, or does nobody know? I am assuming nobody knows but I never follow CEs. Any insight would be helpful.

Because I want the CE, but not from GameStop! if best buy doesn't get it back in stock soon, I'll be forced to pay another 130 to GameStop, blech. I wanted to use my credit I have at Best buy, so I'm crossing my fingers it will come back in stock before Friday. I'm getting fairly nervous about it because I'm a friggin bat-maniac, and I went to pre order MID SEPTEMBER and it was sold out. (The earliest I've ever tried to pre order something!) it's been driving me up a wall lol.

And yea isn't canceling an order at GameStop a bitch! Happened to me a year or so ago, I had to email, then send a faxed verification of my Credit card or some random junk, I don't remember. I feel like they just make it so hard to cancel just for you to keep a pre order lol.

I don't know. Honestly, if I could, I'd get both. The Joker statue is top though.

I REALLY want that and am super tempted though I feel like $150 is the highest I usually go with CEs. A whole extra $100 on top of that seems ridiculous. To me I really want the art book the most, which I would normally pay about $30 for. So with the game and book, that is $90 and then the figure I would only think $100 max.

Breaking it down that way I probably would cave at $200 but $250 is a bit extreme for me. Shame, I really wanted that!

Oh nice. I didn't even realize that game will be on PC also. I was only planning to get a PS4, so that's good news!

 
I try to by all the CE's offered by the TreeHouse Brand stores but I don't know about the TitanFall one. It isn't even an exclusive if Gamestop is selling it as well and it doesn't feel like a True CE if the game is coming separate. It feels more like the Dead Space Dev Team Edition where that wasn't really a CE either.

So obvisouly the game isn't coming prepackaged in the box.... they should advertise it more as a statue with some other things bundled it

Edit: Also they stay the statues are individually numbered so why aren't they saying the print sizes?

Both the DS3 Dev Team Edition and the KOA Special/Collector's editions were very limited and I would jump all over this, even just for that statue, if I knew it was 1,000 pieces or less but the fact that gamestop is involved has me hesitant

Wow--so now gamestop, amazon and the treehousebrand stores (i.e. Titanfall Store). I'm definitely going with Amazon although my expectations in regards to how limited this will be just significantly dropped

 
I know the buzz for Call of Duty is dying since both CE's are still available 2 weeks before launch. That hasn't happened in the history of CoD CE's (going back to CoD 4 in 2007.)

 
That statue looks really cool. If the quality is on par with the game statues that commonly go for $150 to $400, then it's a good deal. However, where the hell would you display it? It's huge. If you have a room dedicated to gaming I guess it would be okay, but sticking it anywhere else, due to its size, would make it look out of place. 

 
I'll be happy with just the art book and game. The extra money for the statue and poster is too much for me. I bit on the Dead Space 3 (special edition with no game) cause I love knick knacks and Last of Us (new franchise) cause it was an exclusive and I really liked the statue so I didn't want to risk it.
 
$250 for a CE is absolutely ridiculous. I know about the whole "collector" BS, but people need to draw the line somewhere. More expensive than a damn console. Insanity to pay that.
