Anyone have issues with Division 2 Gold Steelbook at Best Buy?

Got a notice my preorder patch is ready for pickup but the game is not and its sold out for shipping on the site (PS4) and there is only 1 copy in NYC apparently

Same I just have the patch ready for pickup, tho the best buy 5 miles west of mine has one available for pickup lol.

Yep

Pre-ordered my copy at a store near my work. I then heard and called to verify that they were doing a 9pm release for it, so I swapped my order to my store closer to my house. They told me it would be available at 9pm, because I was worried that swapping it would fuck up my order. After some reassurance, they convinced me to swap it. Now, that order is sitting in pre-ordered state, and when I went to pick it up last night, they didn't get any in at my local store, and they don't know if they will get any. I re-ordered it at my store local to my work, and my pre-order bonus is preparing, and my game is set as In progress. Same shit happened when the first Division released and they didn't have a fulfillment for my Gold Edition so it was cancelled. They better not fuck this up again.

I miss GCU...I haven't bought anything, anywhere since that ran out.  And you know what I discovered?  Stuff I might have pre-ordered, usually does end up discounted.  Granted, I don't buy nearly the amount of games that I used to.  Just the ones I really enjoy.  But that happens with age.  

Oh, wait, I did Pre-Order Sekiro because my daughter asked me to...and that letter opener.   

 
LOL so now Division 2 is available to buy and instore pickup at my Best Buy but my order isnt ready yet. Going to have to investigate after work

 
I haven't seen the others but the Gold Steelbook Edition I got was pretty mediocre in design  as far as the SB goes and the paper slip cover won't last long. The game seems great though as long you were just expecting more Division.

Paper slip cover on mine was trashed. Not to mention, there were dents in the Steelbook. I'm gonna return it and just get the vanilla version. Not worth the hassle exchanging it.

It seems like more and more the Steelbooks aren't worth it. Spiderman one was nice looking, but mine came smashed as all hell in the CE. Forza Horizon 4, the same thing. I went through like 4 Steelbooks, which all had damage before I said fuck it and just returned it for the vanilla version. Now The Division 2 with the same issue. Shit like this makes me want to go full digital lol

Division is a paper slip? Is it even thinner than what was used on Far Cry 5 steelbook?

Thats annoying, UBI at least used to use plastic slips back around AC Origins days. 

We'll see how mine looks if I ever get my copy

The Ultimate Edition at Gamestop has a clear plastic sleeve, but all Gold Editions have paper ones.

The Dark Zone Edition CE says it comes with the Gold Edition Steelbook. The other CE seems to have its own custom orange steelbook. So, I count three total (Gold, Ultimate and Ubisoft Exclusive) unless there is another retailer I have missed.

This is just like Far Cry 5. There were 3-4 steelbooks too smh.

There is one more Steelbook. The Lincoln Edition is exclusive to EB Games in Australia.

 
Here's what US Gold Steelbook looks like. It's gloss and IMO the worst looking one of the one's I've seen.

I wouldn't pay $150 for that DMC set, but it doesn't seem very bad from what I saw. The van is nicely detailed, but is a bit small and lacks extra details like LEDs or even moving wheels to justify the cost.

 
Preordered rage 2 ce today. Been watching some gameplay vids and it’s looking awesome. Playing at 60f on Xbox one x too.
 
Any idea why Gamestop orders, when placed while logged into my account, still come up as a Guest/In-Store order?  Anyone else had this issue?

 
True on no 4K but maybe it can be added later. I’d performance over looks rn but I would like the option to switch.
 
Thank the maker, my GAME Dmc 5 steelbook came mint in the flimsy cardboard sleeve it was shipped in. It's honestly really great looking and has an even better metallic sleeve. Now I just to reserect my UK account to register the DLC.

One question for folks here;  is it likely Sekiro/steelbook combo will get restocked? I believe in some of the few Amazon SB deals (Titanfall 2, Battlefront) went OOS and came back. Just didn't know if anyone actually has info it. Reviews are lighting up and while I'm too chicken for DS and BB it sounds like Sekiro is a bit more friendly but still great.

 
Finally saw a Division Ultimate steelbook at gamestop. That thing is Noice!
But I can't pay 130 for it.... here's hoping someone trades one in one day for me to snag used.
