[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: chttp://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way).

Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

Hulk: Ultimate Destruction(non new UPC/non Front Lane) rings up as $39.99 still(though it's marked $10 on clearance. I also checked a number of other games(including a non PH and a PH copy of Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time for Xbox) and most rang up AT the actual sticker price($19.99 in the case of POP:SOT).

So yeah, my Kmart is dead of any real deals anymore. Of course, I'm going to check my OTHER local ones tomorrow that I haven't checked recently in the hopes that ONE of them may have SOME deals SOMEWHERE within their electronics sections. Either some massive hoarder is hitting all of the Kmarts here and stripping them bare or the people out looking for Christmas presents saw all of the properly marked clearance stickers and went apespit and bought them all. Either way, it does not bode well for ME getting anymore deals round here.

Oh and chasemurata, I certainly hope you were being facetious, since it would appear that there are as many Kmarts near you in LV as there are around me here in Northeastern PA.

I'm almost afraid to ask at which store, since I've been to at LEAST 2-3 of them locally in the past 2-3 weeks and if my one friend and I hang out again this weekend, I may hit up some of the other local stores.

My K-Mart took most of the clearance games that didnt sell at christmas and put the new barcode stickers on them!!! our Mark of Kri's are still 19.99 with the original barcode.

not much, me and cheapestgamer cleared them out,lol....alot of the games are scanning check shelf label now. they do have about 7 of those psp stamina batteries tho.

Not much is really left, aside from a few RPGs, like Tales Of The Abyss, but it USED to be a gold mine. That's where I found my Halo Triple Pack back when it was $12, which I then turned around and flipped to FYE when they had that bonus deal the LAST time(not the one which ends today).

Moosic also has 2-3 of the Stamina batteries, marked $10 or so. As for the check shelf label games, you CAN take them up to the customer service desk and have them check the last price in the system. That's how I ended up getting Rumble Roses for PS2 for $1 from the DC store.

Anyone know about the Southtown K-Mart location in Fort Wayne? Is it still even open? My mom told me "It's to dangerous in that part of town....lol. Even the Walmart supercenter there closes before dark. May be a gold mine, ill find out soon.

Well, I know there were 2-3 down in Moosic too. It's been forever since I was down to Hazleton's Kmart and Honesdale is just plain emptied out anymore. I'm still gonna check Pittston and Edwardsville and also see if the copies of Mark Of Kri in Moosic are down to $2-3 yet.

There's so many stores around here, it's kind of shocking to me at times. Of course, most of them are at least 5-10 miles apart, so it makes for a hell of a day trip to hit them all in one shot.

Got what I'd consider a pretty good take today. Started checking the frontline, and found an Ultimate Spiderman for Xbox marked $5, but rang up $2. In the case was Ys Ark of Nepishtim. Sticker was $40, when she pc'd it, it wasn't in the system. "How bad do you want it?" "I read somewhere online its selling for $4" "How about $2?" "ok!"
Also found Sigma Star Saga (gba) stickered for $30, but same thing happened. Only this time for $1

Then I picked up a few other things... 2 DS lite leather cases for $1.50 each, 2 intec mutlitaps for $1.50 each, 2 AC Adapters for $2 each, and 5 universal adapters for $1 each. Sweet cuz i need at least 3 of those myself!!

Total bill... $21.40

btw, Disgaea 2 rang up $59 and FF12 was $30.

Nice, MY K-Mart is picked through, I Have'nt found many deals outside of Accy's. However the local gamestores are buying the Accy's find for cash...I bought a whole box of Accy's at one K-Mart tuesday, and the first sell almost paid for the whole box...

I trekked to a kmart that's a little in the middle of no where and while it wasn't a gold mine they had a good selection:

DS - Hotel Dusk - 13
PS2 - Disgea 2 - 12
Cube - Killer 7 - 7
Cube Baten Kaitos Origins - 10

Not an amazing haul but I've been looking for an excuse to pick most of those up.

Ok, so this past Sunday I'm sure I ventured into someone's local Kmart as I went on a little road trip. I picked these up at the Glen Burnie, MD store:
Shadow Of Rome $12.97

MOH Rising Sun $2
Tiger Woods 06 $3 (Scanned Check Shelf Label was stickered $3)

So then I drove down the road about 5 miles & there was another Kmart so of course I had to check it out:lol: This one is Pasadena, MD:

It means that the item is currently a penny. I usually just put in the price on the sticker or make one up that seems reasonable for that item. (I work at a Kmart)

You really aren't supposed to sell things that are a penny, they are supposed to be returned.

They're "supposed" to be shipped back to wherever the receiving area sends them to, but I usually just throw a price tag on it that's 90% off the original price, considering that's basically the last pricepoint before it hits a penny.

Here in Decatur, Indiana they get sold before they reach that price i guess, When i first started going before christmas there were deals galore, but it seems everytime im there there is another guy pawing through the games also. They also put new barcodes on Most of teh clearance stuff at christmas. I thought it was teh frontlane company, but from what i hear they are K-Mart games.

OK.....it's official, the people at my local Kmarts have all gone insane and actually decided to start DOING THEIR JOBS AND DOING THEM WELL!!!

I checked the following stores last night and aside from a copy of Taito Legends for $4.99 at the one store and a 'check shelf label' copy of Batman Begins(Xbox), which I later on picked up for $1.59 after tax, I struck out BIG TIME.

Pittston, PA Kmart- lots of signs for clearance games and lots of clearance items marked(properly), including several larger(32" or so) SDtvs.....their game section was gutted and raided and cleaned of ANY of the clearance games I saw there prior. They did have some of the PStwo slim Multitaps that I think someone mentioned getting for cheap, but there were a buttload of people gathered around the LCD TVs gawking with the only electronics worker yammering to them about them. This made me decide to NOT wait around for price checks.

Edwardsville, PA- This was once another GOOD store for finding bargains in, unfortunately aside from the aforementioned Batman Begins game, they had SHIT left. And to think, this was the store I found the copy of Shadow Hearts: Covenant from. Go figure.....

I was going to re-check the Wilkes-Barre Township store(on Route 309), but after seeing nothing of real interest in the case the prior time, I decided not to.

I think I'm done with my local Kmarts, I have to hit this one down by Bloomsburg area I think, which had a huge shelf full of games strewn all about the only time I visited there.

They have to use the hand scanner to check the last clearance price. YMMV with respect to finding an employee with the knowledge and motivation to use it.

I was at 2 K-Mart's on Saturday, They were putting huge clearance tags on all the clearance items, It seems that corporate must ahve sent out an E-mail telling them to get to work. I hope that they forget aboutu it in a few weeks when more price drops come out, I don't want 13 yr/olds taking all my games!!
