[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: chttp://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way).

Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

If I remember correctly, KMart will go as low as 90% off original retail value. Picked up a PSP Stamina battery for $4, and it was $40 retail. Also had them scan a FF11+HD and it came up $10 and was $100 retail.

Also picked up a couple of the aforementioned $30 Halo wireless headsets to round out a full set for me. Found it a little odd that they still sold the standard color ones right next to them at full price of $60. Not a rampaging Halo fan but I always felt that the Halo version was the more desirable of the two (not that I wouldn't have picked up two of the originals if they were the ones being clearanced). Now to wait for the certain disappointment when they drop further.

You might want to check target for the 360 memory units. Mine had 3 of them for 9.98 each.

Sorry if this was posted. I work at Kmart and saw FFXI (360 version, online only game) pennied out in the backroom. The manager wouldn't let me buy it, but if you find it on the shelf do a price scan and see if they let you get it.

I had several front lanes with the c0028 upc sticker scanned and all of them came back full price for all systems I tried. The electronics guy was surprised as he knows me as the guy who comes in and gets all the deals. Of course, I told him I have a friend who works at another Kmart that lets me know when deals are available. He was like maybe his store dropped prices before us. I was disappointed because this store had finally been organized and there were lots of big clearance flags on items.

I've been to several Kmart stores over the past week, and none of them had the DS games I wanted (they didn't have anything else good either). You guys finding deals are lucky.

I saw Legend Of Kay(PS2), it was a front lane game, for $6 the other day.

I thought about picking it up, since I've heard some really good things about it, but I just couldn't pull the trigger @ $6. Maybe if it goes down to $3 though.

Moto GP 07 was marked 15.00 at a local store in Birmingham. They actually had quite a few yellow stickers but that's the only one that stood out. Also had the Xbox Live Vision pack for $60.

Kiiler 7 is now a 'front lane game' at the kamrt I saw it at. I think it was 9.99 or 14.99 prepriced. I scanned it too and rang up at the marked price.

My local Sears did the same thing, everything used to be tagged full price and I always got deals. Now everything is correctly tagged and organized. Now I can't find anything there.

I've noticed, too, that a couple of the best Kmarts for deals around me are now marking things properly. The best deals disappear pretty fast now, leaving behind only the sports games. C'mon, Kmart, quit doing it right! But there's still no one in electronics when you want to buy something.
