[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: chttp://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way).

Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

They do warn you that the program is experimental, but it's still a damn good program(specially for FREE).

But I will say that the picture is pretty damn good and the cam works well even in a dimly lit room.

On topic though, the last time I checked my one local Kmart they still had 2-3 of the EOJ bundles for $20 each and 2-3 of the Nyko controllers for PS3(the ones with NO PS BUTTON ON THEM) for $12.

I have been using the eyetoy as a webcam for like the past 3-4 years now. I have also had the same eyetoy sitting on top of my computer monitor for that length of time and it still works fine. I bought it for 4.99 from Gamestop. They are hard to find at Gamestop but well worth it when you do find one. One of the LED lights is out on it but that just makes it less annoying and it still works fine, I cover the lights with tape. Oh yeah I think I got my eyetoy for free because I was in Gamestop buying games on Black friday and I had 2 games and the eyetoy and didn't realize that there was a B2G1 free going on which also included accessories, so the eyetoy was free.

If you just need a cheap webcam for video chat like over skype or msn messenger the eyetoy does the job well. I have a couple other webcams here that I picked up for almost nothing so in case the eyetoy breaks I have a backup.

:lol::lol: OK OK Guilty as charged. But I've reformed, now I only half hoard the guides. They make great TP(that's bout the only use for them), cept for the ink stains they sometimes leave behind on your ummm behind.

I originally had in the neighborhood of 600+, but I downsized.....to 175 or so. :lol:

And most of those(cept for the RPG guides and ones for Bioshock, Advance Wars: Days Of Ruin and a bunch of others) are going away again soon. That is, if the people at the local game shop will take them again.

I filled up their entire floor with them last time and they STILL haven't sold or put out very many of them.

IATCG also said something else a couple weeks ago about how he used to hoard and buy all the clearance games but he doesn't anymore. I believe it was after he went after another CAG Veteran for hoarding but "someone" (wink wink) exposed his hypocrisy there also.

We know how you don't say that you don't hoard anymore but I'm not sure that it wasn't a survival instinct on your part to just say that you don't hoard while belittling other CAGs that do.

Actually, I've said in times past that I WISH I had hoarded more of the games from my local Kmarts, since as soon as I mentioned my location someone would come in and grab everything I left(which was most of what was on clearance, except for the few times I did grab extras for other CAGs).

Hell, whenever I bought a game and if I didn't play it yet and it was within the 90 day return period, I'd take the damn thing back since I'd rather have the $$$ and not a game that I'll stare at and not play. I don't care to hoard games since that shit can get expensive if you miss the last return date for them and no one is buying/trading from you.

Now, guides on the other hand, those are easy to get carried away grabbing since they're only a penny each. Mind you, get a few hundred of those sob's and they take up more room than a few games ever would.

I do agree that this is a topic better suited for another thread and not cluttering up the Kmart thread with anymore of it.

A couple years ago with the Kmart here if you didn't hoard the games then they would sit on the shelves forever, then go out of the system and no one would get them (unless they wanted to pay 49.99 sticker price for an old GC game). Then they would be transferred to the magical eletronics back room where they keep dead stock never to be seen again. Hoarding is better than letting this happen, at least with hoarding someone gets the games in the end and they don't end up sitting in the back room of some store forever.

I did clean out 2 Kmarts of Gamecube, GBA and a few PS2 games and a few other clearance items single-handedly over many weeks. Although most of those items I kept for myself. My cube collection went from 20 games to 50 or 60 within a month. The PS2 games I was bringing to Gamestop for one of the trade in promos. Keep in mind these games were just sitting and sitting on the shelves, so whoever wanted them had ample opportunity to get them, no one else was buying them except for me.

It doesn't seem like there is even an opportunity to hoard like that around here again though, unless you like hoarding full priced games. My kmart is pretty much cleaned out of games ATM. We will need to get to the end of a console generation before that hoarding opportunity comes up again.

As for hoarding, there's hardly a chance to anymore around me. By the time I get around to hitting kmarts, they've already been cleaned out.

Side note : I found several copies of Crush (psp) and they were all CSP. And none of the stores would sell it to me for $2

I don't give a fat flying who benefits from his hoarding. I'm just tired of him always having a smart ass comment for EVERY other person that admits to buying up a game. Then when I call him out, he flat out denies it. It took a whole FIFTEEN minutes for wakkoviper to dig up just one example of his old hoarding ways.

Has he changed his ways? Who knows? This is the Internet and he could say anything to get people off his back.

bigjunior said he bought two copies of Timeshift for $5 and then came back a couple days later to buy the rest. Anyone on this site (or any other site that posts KMart clearance prices)that shops at his KMart could've bought one or two copies for themselves but there they were a couple days later. Back on topic, My kmart has been cleared out for months, not even a lousy bag of easter clearance jelly beans is left.
Although I did find a Spider-Man Mighty Mugg that had a $5 clearance sticker on it.
Pretty weird because it rang up as $13.99 like all the other Muggs.
Plus there was a promotion that all clearance toys were 25%off the sticker price so for $4 I bit.

Did you ask for a salary manager?? All CAG try this, ask for a Salary Manager and ask them to sell it to for the last sticker price. If they say no, ask to pay last sticker price under a $5 March of Dimes donation.

My store manager will sell anything that goes out the system for a March of Dimes donation. An example, would be a clearanced $80 3-pc rug set ($40 clearance price) missing the small runner was sold for a $15 March of Dimes Donation.

Doesn't hurt to ask, all they could do is say no.

No, that never occurred to me. But I really didn't want to wait. Truth be told I was on a road trip and wanted to get to my destination quickly. There's 90% of the reason I cleaned out the copies of Timeshift; I won't be going back there for a good couple months when it would either be OOS or $30.

Thanks.....I think.:lol: I've been telling depascal22 that for months now, but just like he says I like to add my two cents to whenever someone 'hoards', he seems to like to add his two cents and try to prove that I've done it before.

Thing is, I admit that I've done it before and I did it to some extent with BKO from both FYE(FYE has BKO for $5 on clearance if you can find it) and Kmart, but I'm still stuck with two copies of it(and two copies of Buzz Hollywood Quiz for PS2 from the Sears clearance, one which cost $5, the other $2).

Those may be going back soon and will end up 'check shelf label' unless someone wants them.

You know, if I actually did EBay stuff, I would've probably bought both bundles by now and checked if they had any 'rare' cards with them and sell those on there to recoup the $40 put out for them.

However, I have an account all set up, but I haven't used it......yet.

Mind you, I also don't really need/want the EOJ bundle, since I didn't think the premise for the game was all that interesting, but it'd be nice to have the PS3 Eye for a webcam for $20.
