[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

Yeah, I went to 3 different stores to try and PM FEAR with no luck, but at K-Mart I scored pretty good

My K-Mart had just about every old GC sports game on the list (i.e NCAA 2005, Madden 2005, Tiger Woods 2005 etc.) Maybe some other day, but i was excited about my score today.
 
I took a trip to my local Kmart (about 30 mins away) and it was a bust. I really was hoping for the Minish Cap and ACWW. Shame I will never get it. At least I got Madden 06 like I wanted. So Kudos for that.
 
I picked up a black GBA micro ($35) and the 12 in 1 Micro Kit ($4) at one of the local Kmarts. I checked all of the Sears and Kmarts in the area, and there appears to be only two micros left - one of which I now have.

Well if gbm is now $35 at kmart I should try and score one. I know the kmart in ft. collins had one a few months back I hope my friends give me an excuse to drive up there this weekend.

For some reason my location wasn't showing up - for the record, it's in the Raleigh, NC area that I was looking. Specifically, the Kmart on Capital Blvd. in case it means anything.
 
And on the other side of the coin, the KMart in Portsmouth NH is trying to sell a bunch of PS1 Multitaps for $18 apiece......and still marked clearance!!!!

I didn't go for it though.....
 
LOL They had a couple here for that price too, I didn't bite either since I don't need a multi tap for anything because I never play multi player games(cept for 2 player action rpgs).
 
My store has a PSone lcd screen that rings up out of system yet they keep it in the glass case....tormenting me

its been months since they've done a big drop...hopefully some more gamecube games will fall so my Wii can get some use!

Stupid K-Mart...when are they *finally* going to clearance out Wario Ware: Twisted? I went again today to a K-Mart by my brother's house, and saw WW:T in the very back of the case amongst literally hundreds of GBA titles. The game is now well over two years old (though it was released this month two years ago, it came out in Japan in 2004), and the price on the stupid thing is *still* $19.99! What the heck? I mean, Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins for the PSP is $14.99, it's less than a year old, and I don't consider $14.99 to be a great bargain for that!

When the heck will they finally clearance some of this crap out? I mean, PS1 multitaps? Sheesh. :roll:

Thing is though, the ones they had locally disappeared for some reason. I mean, they were there one month when I checked the one store, then all of a sudden, GONE.

And Irish, my one other local store had 3-4 of those, then when they really blew them out(at like $5 or so), they all disappeared. Good luck trying to get something that's out of the system though, since we have copies of SRS Street Racing and a couple other out of system games at the one Kmart here and they ring up 'check shelf label'. And, I guess that the cashier automatically thinks that means check price sticker(which is $29.99).

There's a bunch of games that are cheap left over at my one local store(Moosic, PA) but nothing of any real worth. Anyway, good luck to the CAGs who do find some of these games, since I'm pretty much done until they start trying to clearance out some of the newer games in 6 months to a year.

This may have been answered already but i was wondering if K-mart price matches their website? If so they have F.E.A.R. (360) listed on their website for $7.49.

My local K-Mart (Pittsburgh area) had a silver XBox 360 faceplate for $2.50 instead of your listed $5. Woo!

Managed to score Final Fantasy 4 for GBA at $15... wish they'd had a copy of 1/2.

Best of luck finding one - I checked the 5 Kmarts in the area (as well as 4 Sears), and only one Kmart had micros, and even then there were only two left (and one looked like it had been opened). Funny how I find the best stuff at the sleaziest one :D

Most CAGs were reporting not being able to PM Kmart's own website, but with a print up of the page, some were able to PM at Circuit City or Best Buy. Although, I believe those people said something about the page cutting off JUST before where it says it's 'out of stock' online.

Best of luck either way.......

You're a few weeks late. This has already been talked about in this forum and all you had to do was search. Very few have been able to score it, but it is YMMV if you print the ad out and go to K-Mart or another retailer.

The reason it cuts out the "Temporary Out Of Stock" is because the printed version is not identical to what you see on the screen. As a matter of fact I'm shocked members have scored copies with the original printout because it is the most generic printout I've seen. I copied the page and pasted it into powerpoint because even I wouldn't believe the K-Mart printout.

I saw a Logitech controller for the PC for $5 in the K-mart in Lakewood, WA if anyone was interested...They also have a bunch of those 12-1 micro gameboy startup...Seems like everything was pretty much cleaned out...I just bought myself a silver faceplate for $2.50...They had a wood, black, & viva pinata one also...

LOL The original grey model? WOW!!! I guess that store is as bad as the one down by me(Moosic, PA) where the one cashier told me that just a year ago when they reorganized the case(not too well I might add), he found one of those pre owned Genesis or SNES games they used to sell in the blue packaging behind the case. You know the ones, I think they were around $7.99 when they did sell them back in the day.

It doesn't surprise me at that Kmart though, but the old PS1 is kind of a shock, since I would've figured that item would've been out of system a LONG time ago. Hell, even the PSone/LCD combos are by now I'm sure. I'm just glad I snagged the last one before someone else about a year or so ago. :whistle2:D

anyone confirm tomb raider 360 for $14? Mine is still ringing up $20 at my k-mart. I used the self checker and even bought it once and returned. I am a total cheapass.
 
I went to a KMART on the Eastside/Detroit..I cant remember its exact location..13 mile Gratiot area? Anyhow when I went they has sealed SNES and N64 games on the shelf, granted ,they were baseball/Sports games from the 90's but It was still a suprise! :lol:

I think thats the price for the original Xbox version. I remember seeing a few copies in the bargin bin tagged at $14, while I self scanned the 360 version myself, it came up for $20 too.
 
I picked up a two GBA Micros at the K-mart in Vancouver, WA for $35 each. One of them had an open box, so I got $5 off of that one.

There were two Micros left after my trip.
 
I've got 3 related questions for anyone in the know. First, why have the price drops slowed down (atleast at my K-Mart) they used to happen every month it seemed. Also when or can I expect another drop on the XBox live kit for $42 (my roommate has the 360 so I'm hessitant to spend alot of money on HIS system, but I want Live). Also this has probably been answered, but, what is the likelyhood that the Micro will drop again anytime soon?

Honestly, the price drop system seems to have frozen as of last fall for some reason. I don't think anything has really dropped in price since either November or December of 2006. Shame really, since with all the new games coming out for the newer systems there's even LESS space than usual in the cases.

Oh well.....

Yes and no. If the UG&G is an actual in-case UG&G with a K-Mart price tag on it, it'll be $20. If, however, it's an UG&G from the endcap-type displays ("Value Priced Games!" or whatever it says on the cardboard things), it'll be $15. They ring up either way depending on the UPC.
 
Saw two new items on clearance in the case this morning, but would have been an extreme hassle to get anyone to open them to check prices against the tag.

:360::ps2: Some kind of generic universal console remote for 360, PS2 and other devices (includes 'controller buttons' like A, B, Start, etc.) - $30ish (I can look again if someone wants the exact information)

Also seemed to have a bigger selection of the $4.99-$14.99 restickered games for all previous platforms.
