[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet or not, but that huge ass Gamer Universal Remote(the big greyish colored one) is down to $15 now, which is almost worth a buy.
 
all they had at mine was the silver faceplate for 2.50. They had a couple other games, but they rang up at origional price. *sigh* waste of money
 
Saw a lot of games with the yellow clearance sticker that were horribly outdated (Gun, Haven, etc) marked $20. I scanned them and no price rang up, said "see bla bla". Judging from the employee working there I wasn't going to score anything.

Did see Viva Pinata faceplate for $10, and a bunch of games that should be on clearance with white 19.99 stickers.
 
I was able to get one of the employees to come over with the price gun to scan serveral games today. There were quite a few 360 games marked down in the system. I could't remember all of them, but I did remember most.

Perfect Dark Zero - 24

plus all of the ones in the OP. There were a few others that I will try and put up here when I go back.

The UPCs expired so they have to either be manually entered into the system again. If it says check shelf label, it means it's penny'd out, at my work we'll ring it up for 90% off the last ticketed price (well that's how I do it anyways) or some people at my work will just send it through as $1. It really depends on who you get though, and how knowledgeable they are.

And if anyone cares, here's what I recently picked up from my work:

Psychonauts Xbox - $3 (grabbed for a friend)
Manhunt Xbox - $2 (had to re-enter it into the system myself to make it this price though)

I'm going to go back next week anyway to pick up some stuff for the house, so I'll try to pick this up. The only problem was that there were 19.99 stickers all over the game, so hopefully they don't manually put that price in. I'm not even sure Haven is worth it at clearance but it would be nice to score a game.

They'll probably give it at the stickered price, since they wouldnt need to check the price of a game that has a price sticker on it, even if it rings up at check shelf
 
Has anyone successfully turnaround or exchanged any of these items at a Wal-Mart?... I noticed that alot of the $4 games are $40 in Wal-Mart... I checked out 1 Kmart and there werent any games on sale that were avalible at my Wal-Mart... Any tips or ideas from people who also do this method :p ?

In addition to being morally reprehensible, it's fraud and you can get into serious legal trouble for doing it.
 
so, that gamer remote, which i bought at 25, and think is pretty awesome, is now at $5.

also, the motorolla 360 football headset is also $5. both great prices, so be on the lookout.

How awesome is awesome on the remote? ;) I saw a bunch on security pegs, but it wasn't worth my time to wait the three hours (I might be exaggerating by about twenty minutes) for someone to unlock them.

I did pick up the last headset at the $5 mark, and a Viva Pinata faceplate for $2.

Also, I saw a few games with clearance stickers, but they were not the even dollar amounts I've come to expect. So not sure if these are price drops with the wrong style sticker or what:

There were a few other Gamecube games, but I can't recall them now.

the remote is very similar to the harmony remotes with 2 major differences. they obviosly don't have an lcd screen, and you can't hook it to your pc for programming. they do have a learning capability, ie you can point your old remote at the new one, and have it map whatever that is to any button you want. it does control ps2 and 360, and it's been great for me so far. can't really beat that for 5 bucks. i'm happy with my 25 spent on it.

I picked up one of the headsets today, it feels a bit wierd though, my ear feels like its being eaten or something XD. It feels like its a bit tight also. Its very clear though, so thats a plus. Im not sure if I want to keep it, my old one is very looses, and it feels like it can fall apart at anytime. I'll probably keep it as a backup for now.
 
I was at my K-mart today and they had most of the clearance games behind a separate glass case, thought some GBA titles were labelled with their clearance price with the normal price games. I got FF4! :D Why I didn't realize until after I got home that I have it on FF Chronicles. D: But i don't mind.

Also, of the top of my head, I remember that Ultimate Spiderman on the Xbox was $10 and Rogue Galaxy on the PS2 was.... $34? It wasn't a big savings but it few dollars off the MSRP.
 
I havent found any clearence games at my local Kmart, or at least any that I want. Sure theres a bin full of stickered games, and they've even thrown in various $19.99 greatest hits titles, but none of these $3 or $5 titles in the OP list. There were some games the first time I went, but a week after I came back it was cleaned out. I did pick up a copy of Tomb Raider Legend 360, only because it was behind the case, but I didnt even work so I never even got to play the game :whistle2:( Last copy too. Still, I'll keep my out out if I ever go to another Kmart
 
I saw a bunch of new(haven't checked the OP lately) clearance games at my one local Kmart the other night(Pittston, PA). Only a couple stick out in my mind though:

Just Cause(PS2): $34 or so I believe it was listed as....

Also saw a newer 20" LCD TV on clearance. Magnavox.....It was still over $300 or so, but still not too bad for a name brand LCD I guess.

There were also tons of 360 games marked on clearance, but I didn't have my usual pen and paper with me to mark them. Though, I do remember one of them: Kameo.....but I don't recall the price on it.

I believe the cheapest 20" on clearance is the Sylvania one that should be down to $260 in most stores. The Magnavox is like $284, and the same Sylvania 20" with a built-in DVD player is down to $300. Only other new LCD I can think of is the older 15" Sharp LCD (gray, not the new black digital one), and it should be $201.

For those of you interested:

K-Mart is bringing back the additional 30% off all clearance items next week (7/29 thru 8/4)

I had thought it was to clear out as much inventory as possible for those stores that are to be renovated soon (mine included), but I had forgotten that K-Mart's yearly inventory is at the end of August for most stores. This is why they have brought the clearance sale back.

Which reminds me, there is a sale related to "no home" items (items that are not part of the layout for a given area) at my store because of the upcoming renovation. It's really kinda oddball stuff, but I remember (sale is from 7/18 to 9/27):

25% off most older, analog TVs (excludes clearance)
25% off PS2 DVD remote (possibly other VG accessories not on the layout)
25% off Logitech headset for PC (again, possibly other PC accessories not on layout).
50% off certain batteries (only come across one so far [Rayovac 15 minute rechargeables], so not sure on these)

360 Black Wireless Controller $35
360 Wireless Headset $42 or something
And a few games came up as $20.

Now I still believe it's a glitch, but If it's true, probably YMMV here people... which it's probably not.

just in case no one knows about it, i'll throw this in there too. until the end of august, there is a coupon that should be in the toiletries area. it'll be by some batteries that are in that area, and it's buy a "saver" back of duracell batteries, and any 2 qualifying p&g products, and you get a $10 kmart gift card for free. at my kmart, the batteries are 6.50, and i get 2 three packs of ivory soap for 99 cents a piece. this puts the total at like 9.15, plus the $10 gift card. you could then go back and use the gift cards you get to get infinite batteries, soap, and and extra 85 cents. let me know if that is confusing, but i've been stock piling with this coupon, and it's awesome.
 
I read about that coupon on SD. One KMart I went to never had them, another one had no coupons left. I'm not surprised since people on SD are taking the whole stack and then using them and/or selling the coupons on EBay. I wouldn't have tried it more than a few times anyway since I know I would run into problems but it sounds like a great way to get some free stuff if you can find the coupons

This is a HUGE mistake that I ran into the last time they had the clearance sale. For whatever damn reason, right now, any employee can print out a sign saying that ANYTHING in the store will be 30% off next week. Here's the catch: this only shows up when you go to print a sign from the RMU and it checks Event Maintainence, but the event DOES NOT show up if you go to Event Maintainence directly. When Sunday rolls around, you'll find that you can no longer see that event by going to the sign maker and that everything appears to be back to normal.

This thread from around the last clearance sale tipped me off to this last time. Translation: Some moron can't flag items correctly and has created the potential for some serious abuse.

So you're acutally using the gc to buy the batteries and soap, then they'll give you back your 85 cent card and a new $10 card. Isnt that a bit....suspicious?

I just bought the remote for 5 bucks, its sweet!!! The store i went to has like 9 more might have to end up buyin these for friends for bday presents.
 
This is starting to sound like a scam a friend and I invented one time, which grew into a running joke. The final version involved Big Lots, Kmart, and 10,000 2 ounce bottles of travel suntan lotion. It would require driving through four different states, but even after a week of travel, hotel fees, and fuel costs we would net over $150 in store credit. :lol:

At some point all scams reach a critical mass where it's just easier to get a job and go straight.

The Circuit City in Northridge, CA has them in stock (about 10 IIRC). Dunno how much they run there, but I snagged this game at Sears about a year ago for 10 bucks. Good stuff.

Truly? Shoot, I practically trip over them in the street around here. They're at virtually every store I go to, and they're *always* priced at $20. If they're just finally drop to $10, I'd be in. Until then, nope! I'm strong-willed!
