[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

So it sounds like most K-Marts don't really have any of the cheap DS and GC games left??

I would check myself but the closest K-Mart to me is about 30 miles away and don't want to drive that far for nothing.
 
The deal was that good, it deserved that many posts. :p At least now I know why my posts list had that one listed multiple times. @_@ I though there was a database error.

Yeah, the games that went to 30% recently are now at 50% (Rogue Galaxy $20, Disgaea 2 $25, Lemmings PSP $15, etc.) However, the stuff that dropped to $20 and then $15 (all those 360 games, Legendia etc) havent dropped again yet

Don't forget the past few weeks on your K-mart receipts there was Rewards. Earn $5 for every $50 you spent. So take a look at them. You can use them starting this Sunday!!
 
Well, I was there this morning and all the good 360 games were cleaned out...They had Rumble Roses XX on clearance, my friend bought the LAST ONE!

Also, the cashier said some guy picked up 18 copies of Table Tennis. o_o

? Haha, is this just a case of 'holy crap a 10-15 dollar 360 game zomg!' overestimate of what the guy could've gotten for it? Ebay prices seem about the same as Kmart's clearance deals on that game in particular now, not to mention even at local mom-and-pop shops around here you can only get 12-14 for em...bleh, hope the horder gets a terrible return on them.

Anyway, on topic a bit more - I hope Kmart feels the need to do another 30% off clearance sale again. Finally got a 360, yet I don't have any games for it. I knew I should've picked up Table Tennis and Tomb Raider during the last sale, but wanted to save as much cash as possible for buying books and whatnot for class. And now that I finally can spend a bit...wham, back up to 15...and my inner CAG won't let me bite even on those good prices ^.^

:D ! Table Tennis is a pack-in on the new 360 bundles. Plus I bet it goes Platinum Hits soon. He'll be lucky to get his money back.

I don't think it going Platinum will make any difference, since it's already 19.99 everywhere, well below Platinum MSRP.
 
I went to my local K-Mart to see what was going on with the $2 360 faceplates. I found the wood one for $2 but the blue and carbon fibers ones were $6 each. Well, I thought they looked nice so I took all 3 to the register. The woman at the register rang up the $2 one and when she noticed the others were more, she actually lowered the price on the other ones to $2 each!! Her reasoning? "They all look like the same thing to me, I mean they all started at $20, right?." I wish all retail folks had that same attitude. I also got the Intec cooling station for $14, so now my 360 looks nice and is actually staying cool.:cold:

I'd be careful with the cooling station. I plugged mine in and got a RROD when I turned the system on. It worked after I unplugged the fans, but it got me paranoid. I'm now expecting a permanent RROD while playing BioShock this month, Halo 3 next month, or HL2 The Orange Box in October.

What he said...DO NOT stand the 360 on end, any jarring will potentially ruin a game and Microsoft will not honor the warranty if they know you have this attached. (infamous 3 blinking lights...) Everyone I spoke to stated cooling is not neccessary...just don't run the unit in a enclosed space/cabinet.
I took mine off immeditely after learning of these facts...
 
Does anyone remember the model of the Canon Digital Camera that KMart clearanced out?

I'd rather not go back through 60+ pages. :cry:

You'll never find 3 of each...not at those prices. Sapphire is still $30 everywhere I see it.

Oh BTW I got Tomb Raider Legend for Xbox @ $3.
 
I hit a Kmart today in search of clearance 360 games. They had multiples of all the following SEVERAL of some so hopefully the prices wil drop to match those that have been reported by others in this thread.

I saw the following and personally scanned each at a price check station. All were $15-20 each:

I love using that method when I get too smarmy in my comebacks to some of the serious posters on these threads. Of course, other times I'll just keep hitting EDIT like crazy and changing my own post till I end up with something that's a mix of smart ass and reserved enough. Because, as we know, without my daily dose of CAG, I'd be relegated to actually PLAYING my backlog. And, we can't have that now, CAN WE?
 
I found an absolute goldmine of a Kmart yesterday...and not a damn thing was marked down to where it 'should' be...if this kmart ever gets on the ball, look out! My discover card will be in shambles...

I think what you are talking about are the fans that actually attach to the 360. This is just a vertical stand with some fans in the bottom, not the infamous "intercooler" that solders itself to the 360. I have had no problems with it so far (knock on wood), but I appreciate the concern :)

Got the Viva Pinata faceplate for 1.40$, I know it's not very manly, but I gave it too my son :)

When I asked if there were any games on clearance, the sales clerk told me to check the CAG forums. If only I had been prepared.
 
Went by my local K-Mart today for the first time in months. I picked up:

Sonic Gems Collection (Gamecube): $20.00
Tomb Raider: Legend (360): $10.50

Moto GP '06 (360): $10.50

I scanned but did not purchase:

Top Spin 2 (360): $14
Saints Row (PH version) (360): $29.99

I know that $20 for the Sonic Gems collection isn't a stellar price, but it beats $18 for a used copy.
 
Was at the Costa Mesa Store, and picked up Star Trek Legacy 360 14$ and PSO fo $10.50, they also had Superman for 17$, Bionicles for 10$ and the 20 gig HD for 50 something. N3, TDU, Oblivion scanned at full price.

I also saw Darkwatch for 11$, and Kameo and PDZ for 10$

I visited about 6 Kmarts in a different area than normal, VA Beach, and noticed some lower prices than the original list from 8/1. Especially on the 360 games. Might be good looking into at your local Que-mart to see if prices might have dropped. Noticed some older 360 titles that aren't on the list. Most were listed around $15 or so. Can't really recall any titles, maybe Bioncle or something not really worth $15. Anyways.

Confirmed. I was actually able to get Rogue Galaxy which I purchased 2 weeks earlier (for $20) price adjusted today for the new clearance price of $14. They had 2 other copies for $14 but I did not buy them.
 
Nice to hear 30% off is back again. I picked up some non game items on clearance on Tuesday with the 30% off, went back on Wednesday to get some more items and the 30% off was over.
