[SIZE=+1]Three important notes[/SIZE] (please read these before posting questions):

[SIZE=+1]1)[/SIZE] Most of the prices listed below will not be shown on the games at any given Kmart. Chances are if you can find them (and they don't have restickered UPCs - see point 3 below) they will ring up at one of the clearance prices listed. The best way to check it is to bring a UPC sheet with you and use the floor scanners to verify the pricing before you ask the Kmart associate to open the case.

[SIZE=+1]2)[/SIZE] Kmart price drops are generally national in scope. However, each store must process the price drops individually. While the price drops originate from corporate, different stores have wildly different ways of dealing with them. Some will implement them immediately, some weeks later, and some, it seems, never. Also, there are occasional glitches in the pricing where a game that is otherwise on clearance will ring up at full price at certain stores.

OK, on to the prices...

The wonderful thing about Kmart is that they combine dirt-cheap clearance pricing with a general lack of organization. Thus CAGs in the know, hopefully using info from this thread, can find some amazing deals.

First off, here's the UPC database list as created by Slash and updated by MightySlacker: http://kmart.slashbunny.com/. Use this to verify pricing in your local Kmart.

The prices are organized alphabetically and by system (thanks again to ShiningSlade for starting it off this way). What we are currently missing is a good list of accessories. I have added a few that I know about. We need more info on these (and there must be more to uncover).

In general, I'm sticking with ShiningSlade's method of listing games. However, there are a few changes. Since the exact pricing is so YMMV, and many games ring up at 2 or 3 different clearance prices I will list all of these separated by slashes, with the cheapest first. For example: Psychonauts $3/$14/$24. I am also adding a bit to the color coding - see below:

All clearance games still ringing up at 30% off today.

I picked up a copy of Tales of the Abyss for 13.00 today and priced checked a bunch of other games to make sure the 30% discount was still working.
 
i could never find any batteries for the psp. i did once but it was just a normal replacement. oh well. i'll just buy a knockoff on ebay

OK, DUDE, but point is it is not like Target or Walmart where some stores have things on clearance and some don't, which is what he was implying. These games ARE on clearance at all Kmarts, and if you can get them to look at their lists they will see they are on clearance even if they ring up (glitched) at full price. I also didn't say they all have the same prices, just that they are all on clearance. The prices are only different if they haven't gotten around to inputting the latest drops through negligence which is common (again, though, unlike Target in which every store is on a different clearance schedule).

In any case, you are welcome for having access to this list ;). Oh wait...

I hope so, but didn't somebody post a pic of a sign that said 30% off with an end date of 11/4? I thought it was weird that it would start as a weekly flier deal which ends on Saturday and then be extended through a Sunday instead of ending on a Saturday. Maybe because of the Friends and Family Day BS.

Also, if I had known you were looking for a PSP extended battery, I would have snagged one of the bunches a Sears had for 7.xx. I'll see if they have anymore next time I go there.

I can confirm a price on the list I haven't seen mentioned in a long time:

I got this at this price about a year ago and it hasn't dropped since. Wow. Picked it up for trade.

Also, saw another Front Lane game with a clearance sticker over the front lane price tag on clearance for 10.00. It was Lord of the Rings: Third Age for Xbox. I wish that when they clearance these it would go to the original clearance price of $2 in this case. Of course, I don't think they're supposed to clearance them anyway.

Also, the Christmas frontlane stand is back at my store in addition to the FLs that are still sitting around from last year. :lol:
 
saw thp8 with a 26$ sticker, ran up 29.99 :(
saw nba street homecourt ring up for 18something, about the same price as gs with that weekly coupon so im still debating on keeping it or not...

I posted the picture and it had an ending date of 11/3. If things are still ringing up 30% off, they must have extended the sale.

It could be extended or, like last time, some stores are taking a while to end the sale.
 
I'm pretty sure it's been extended, as well. The reason being is that if it wasn't extended, when I rebought the games as per my previous post, they would've rung up higher. FWIW, my store didn't have any signs when the 30% off started nor do they have signs now.
 
Yeah, the 30% off is still on. I picked up the old 12-month XBL kit w/ PGR2 for $19.60 today. The scratch off code was supposed to have expired earlier this year, but it worked fine when I made a new account on my 360.

I also found Anitgrav w/ Eyetoy for $3.50. Warioware Touched (DS) is full price ($34.99) but I used a 10% off coupon to save a few bucks.

I missed out on a 15" Sharp LCD TV. It was originally $299.99 but was scanning at $60-something dollars. Some guy bought the last 2 when I was there.
 
I decided to run over to Kmart after my last post, because I've been checking for a sale on the clearance kitchen stuff. No sale on that, but electronics still ring up 30% off.
 
I was at K-Mart. Nothing I really wanted/could afford game wise so i didn't get anything. I did see that this store still has Super Robot Tensen(I wanna say the first?) front laned for $19.99, and NBA Street Vol 3 frontlaned for $4.99. Xbox version though. I woulda got it if it was the Gamecube version. Anyway, I really went to get some mailing stuff. A 6 pack of USPS CD mailers for $0.42. They had a bunch of USPS tape ut that was ringing up check shelf price and i really didn't need to so I passed. Interesting note. They had a tag for 10% off all 3M mailing stuff..... valid 8/26 to 9/2. I don't think K-Mart knows that aisle exists. Also got a CD 4 dollars off even though it had a sticker that probably was from last weeks sale. I didn't check the date.

Also, when I was paying, I noticed the old lady cashier the next aisle over pulled out a sign that said "30% off on clearance items" when checking out some customer. So I'm guessing we have another week of this.
 
On Saturday, when I went back home, I asked the clerk to price check most of the 360 titles for me. After she gave me a hard time because she was lazy and really didn't want to go get the key for the case, most of the games she checked were back up including Hitman and Civil War, so I just got the stuff below and have sworn not to waste anymore time with K-Mart for a while.

Elite Beat Agents - rang up for $29.99, but it had a $19.00 sticker on it, so I couldn't get the extra 30% off, but they did adjust it down for me to $19
Disgaea - $8.40

Now we've got an Elite Beat Agents ringing up full price. It seems the longer this goes on the more games get bumped up to MSRP at random Kmarts. Very strange. When the last drop happened it seemed like everything rang up correctly just about everywhere, but as the weeks pass more get screwed up. I know this happened with a few games at some of the stores I check out. They were the lower price when I bought or price-checked them and then went up some time in the last 2 weeks. So it appears they all started off correctly, and more and more glitches are being introduced. Its like there's some bizarre computer virus in their system.

I'd go out again but there's really nothing I'm looking for and I'd have to print up a bunch of UPC's to see what else ends up being full price. I don't want to have them scanned again by my friend who thinks people are switching price tags around :roll:.

have you seen the keys they have to go through to open the damn thing. not to mention the difficulty they have finding the right one. how many times have you gone thru the wait of getting an employee to electronics,only to have to wait another hour for them to find the right key(s)?

but hey, i love my kmart.

At my store Warioware Touched! was one of the few items that was ringing up correctly (the sticker on it said $23.99 but it rang up $16.10).

One of my K-Marts is on my way home. I may stop in if the sale is still going on.
 
Picked up Rumble Roses for the PS2 for 8.80 (13- 30%). Valkyrie Profile was marked 19 but still ringing up at 29.

I tried checking a couple of games today and the 30% off was no longer being discounted from the clearance price.

The 30% off signs were still up but I did not fing anything worth buying and arguing about.
 
picked up "Just Cause" today for $12. had the $35 clearance tag on it. there were a few other 360 games on clearance, but none that interested me.
 
I checked local KMart today...No more extra 30% off. I scanned 3 games I had checked Saturday and they all rung up regular clearance price.

Also, Elite Beat Agents rang up $29.99 again. Still had $19.00 clearance sticker on it!
 
This donation thing sounds...awesome. I really shouldnt buy a PSP, like, really. but at 50%,its hard to deny that it is a good deal.

My bad, somehow I read that whole page and missed the original and only post about this before Masterkyo's. Now that I see it I'm intrigued.
 
I believe they said that the limit was $20 in gift cards ($10 donation max), though I'm sure you could do this at multiple kmarts. All presuming this is legitimate, of course. Who's to say the person you deal with knows about the limit. It's worth a shot.

The big question is can we get multiple gift cards by going back each day to donate another $10? It looks like the original poster on SD was able to do that, but it's surely YMMV. I'm definitely going to try though - the kmart across the street from me at work has a pharmacy, so going each day at lunch is no problem. Yeah!

I am going to try this this weekend. People at SD are always annoying to get a whole lot of clarification on deals, lol.

If I can I can do 3 kmarts...easily make 60 dollars in giftcards a day on a drive i would normally take. Help cut the price of some holiday shopping :D.

Yeah finding a Kmart with a 60GB in stock is a chore in itself. I got mine during the $25 giftcard for $20 thing that was going on. Luckily, I was able to find a Kmart an hour away with three in stock. Pretty much all of the other Kmarts in the state were out. That was a crazy night though, because I had to go to a ton of different Kmarts that insisted they had it. Of course, I got there, and all they had were 80GB models. It was pretty sweet though because after all was said and done, I got the PS3 for a tiny bit over $300 out of pocket and two receipts about three feet long. This of course does not count gas and such...sigh.

The PS3 is definitely worth it at that price though. It has been awesome catching up on the PS2 hits I have missed, and there are some great titles out there for the PS3.

But yeah, I say if you have the time and the patience, try to get the 60GB PS3 for $250 - it is definitely worth it.
 
Went in a couple days ago and now they've got these big cardboard shelving units out in the isle with a ton of random stuff in it. Almost everything has a $9.99 white sticker on it. I picked out Viewtiful Joe (had been looking for a non-Player's Choice copy for a couple years), Viewtiful Joe 2, and Oddworld Strangers Wrath.

Oddworld rang up as $2.10
VJ rang up $14.99
VJ2 rang up $19.99

The person at the electronics counter called over a manager. She asked me where I got these. I said right behind you. She said, "Which ones are labeled as $10?" And I just said, "Uh...pretty much all of them." And her response was, "Oh, well nevermind."

Long story short, I paid $23. It's just funny how much they don't really care.
 
I checked my local kmart pharmacy for the donation deal and the guy said he had heard of it, but that he didn't have the information to be able to do it. He said he was waiting for his boss to provide the info. I said I'd try again tomorrow. I am going to take a printout of the promotion sign with me then and see if they'll use that, rather then putting my hopes on "his boss".
